Transfering Yellow to Emerald, and so on.

I've seen a lot of similar posts, but I was just wondering if this method of transfering that I have, would work.

SO,

Couldn't I just put Yellow into a GBA, as well as Emerald, and then get two wireless connectors, and transfer them? Or is the interface of trading different on the two games?

Sorry if this has been answered....Don't want to upset anybody.

Please tell me if this would work.

You can't trade from Gen III (and onwards) to II and I. They're entirely different systems.

So, in that case, would I have to buy, for example, Fire Red, or Leaf Green, to then transfer to Emerald, and so on?

You can transfer from FR/LG to Emerald, but you can't from the original RBY or GSC.
