Default 2010 NFL Season

Talk about the 2010 Football season.

Fothermucker! We were so close. Effin' choked. Still can't seem to finish games. Either way, I liked what I saw. Not too bad for my Texans. Doesn't count, so I'm good. I just hope it isn't foreshadowing anything...

Why was the NFL Chat Thread locked?

On a side note, Cowboys will win the Super Bowl.

Was getting too long.

New Stadium ≠ Super Bowl. I know you didn't say that, just saying. :p

Well, you're right there. Phenomenal players + Team Chemistry = Super Bowl. Last season we were close, this year will be even better. Or we'll just flat out suck, who knows.

You require a quarterback for something of that magnitude. However, you lack one.

my post was a jokeee.
but, i say this is gonna be a learning season for Kolb. He's gonna get destroyed by the Eagles fans, but in the end, getting rid of McNabb was well needed. 'Skins just got our leftovers.

I'm saying Super Bowl winners will be Minnesota. They still have a very solid team without Sidney Rice. AP+Silver Fox+Percy Harvin+D Line=EPIC WIN

Wow. Not even I thought the Texans would win today. It's pre-season yeah, but beating the Cockyboys is a big deal.

Even though we lost the first two, I've heard nothing but good things about the Texans this year. And I'm liking what I'm seeing.

Meh, I didn't watch the Dallas Vs. Houston game, but I saw the final score.

Honestly, I am not surprised. Don't really care. It is only the preseason, so no need for me to be impressed.

Preseason is just a time for fans to see how their players will more than likely play when the actual season starts. This is mainly for the team who have made changes, or want to see where their second stringers place this year. Those and the rookies.

Yeah, but if you watched you would have noticed a couple things. Our defense only ran Cover 1 the entire game. That leaves the middle of the field wide open and allows for huge runs. If you think about it, that's where all of your big plays came from. Both Offense and Defense was very vanilla. Not to say that we didn't make mistakes on offense that pissed me off.

I really don't know what to think. Obviously we play you in Week 3 and we play Washington in Week 1 who run a very similar offense to you, so we didn't want to show that much. But at the same time, if you don't show anything you don't know what you're going to get. I'll admit, I'm a little worried. But in 2007 we got whooped by the Texans in Pre-Season dress rehearsal and we went on to go 13-3.

Yes you are right. I don't even know how to comment on Texans since it's a completely different team. They're running the ball more.

As for the Cowboys; I expected a bit more. People overrate them, and it's that precisely that drew me in. Some of Romo's plays were a little rough. But I know regular season will be a whole 'nother ball game. I'm the worried one since watching them play now is giving me high hopes. Of course, this game has something to do with it. :p
