Default [SU] Pokémon: The Last Living Souls

Pokémon: The Last Living Souls

You stand among the shells of what were once humanity’s greatest architectural accomplishments. With your feet on the ruined asphalt street, you gaze ahead to see the city roads ripped apart, the traffic lights and the street lamps twisted and misshapen, with overturned cars that have been thrown about, burnt to a husk, and have been long forgotten. And all around you were the many office and apartment buildings of what was once known as Saffron City, now ruined and dilapidated shells of what was once human civilization. Around you, there is only silence as the once great city now seems hallowed out of life, and up above, the gray and fiery colored skies with their merciless clouds block out the sun, limiting the light of day.

There was a time when humanity had been the leading cause of the world’s problems, and it was the legendary Pokémon that paid the price and had to fix it. They usually did what they could, and despite all that had happened, they still understood that there were good humans among the wicked.

Now, it was exactly the other way around.

Arceus had become narrow-minded, looking only at the cruelty of people, seeing how it was people that incited wars, pollution, crime, perversion, and destruction. After seeing so much evil, he had ultimately decided to destroy humanity, slowly and painfully, regardless of those that were good and just. By his command, he gave the order for the other legendaries to destroy humans, and remove what he believed to be a cancer from the planet and instead restore it as a world of only Pokémon and no humans or their vices. To help gain support for the radical change, he poured his anger, contempt, and impatience for humans into the other legends, regardless of whether or not they actually agreed with his plans. As for the Pokémon that humans owned, they would have to be collateral if they were caught in the destruction.

Immediately, a massive amount of destruction and violence had been caused. Humanity and the Pokémon they possessed were hit unexpectedly, unable to defend themselves from the overwhelming wrath. Every region felt the destructive impact in one way or another, and great metropolises built by men were reduced to burning husks and ruins.

It was then that Mew and Jirachi had utterly betrayed Arceus, disgusted that the other legends would wipe out the forest of humanity because of a few bad seeds. Knowing it would cost them both their lives, they decided to give humanity and their Pokémon the ultimate chance to make things right and whole again. It was their one chance to prove that it wasn’t humanity that was in need of rectification… it was the legends.

What they had created were the Soul Deliverers using Jirachi’s wish and Mew’s universal connection power to the rest of all Pokémon. Many humans that had lost beloved Pokémon companions and partners as a result of the ungodly amount of destruction caused by the demonic legends were suddenly touched by the power of the wish, and the spirits of their departed Pokémon suddenly found an opportunity to come back to their owners in a way. Through that wish, many pure-hearted people that had been struggling to survive while grieving from the loss of their Pokémon soon found themselves as Soul Deliverers, merged with the soul of one of their beloved departed Pokémon. Upon being merged with their spirit, these humans became PokéMorphs of that same departed companion as that fallen Pokémon allowed them to have their strength, their powers, abilities, and now bear their likeness. Now, as hybrids of humans and the beloved Pokémon whose spirit came back to give them strength and power, they have a new task they need to fulfill.

Through the same power of Jirachi’s wish and Mew’s connection, Soul Deliverers have the ability to remove the soul of a legendary Pokémon and replace it with their own, which would allow them to inherit the legendary’s body and forever take command of it. Through this “Soul Swapping,” Jirachi and Mew hoped that the good-hearted Pokémon owners that were truly capable of care and compassion would remove the corrupted legends from their position of power and authority, and instead replace it with someone far more deserving of the power and precious responsibility than they were.

What Jirachi and Mew had created utterly disgusted Arceus, and as a result, they were destroyed through Arceus’s overwhelmingly monstrous rage. However, what the two of them had created could not be undone, and now, they faced a very real threat.

Meanwhile, the surviving human resistance assembled the Global Defense Initiative, also known as GDI. Through the power of science and military technology, they had targeted the legendary Pokémon for elimination. Under normal circumstances, killing a legend would result in an imbalance in nature, but now, through GDI technology, they had found scientific and technological means to replicate the powers of those legends to ensure stability within the planet’s atmosphere and ecosystems. However, most of GDI’s leaders and top scientists don’t know about the presence of the Soul Bearers, and what they are capable of doing. Right now, they see this as the only real potential solution…

And so the fire rages on. The remaining legendaries are out to destroy humans, and there are plenty of Pokémon that follow them out of obedience to their authority and Arceus’s will. However, there are now many Soul Bearers with the abilities and physical resemblance of their fallen Pokémon, armed with the potential to forcefully remove the corrupted legends out of power. Meanwhile, GDI has been more like a railroad spike than a thorn in Arceus’s side, keeping the legends challenged with powerful military weapons, technology, and science.

Against the corrupted legends and their armies of follower Pokémon, how will you put an end to the destruction, and hopefully bring rise to a new dawn where humans and Pokémon can be at peace?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

THE SOUL BEARERS

Soul Bearers are PokéMorphs of one of their Pokémon that had been unjustly killed as a result of Arceus and his followers. Through the power of the wish, they are now hybrids of humans and Pokémon, giving them access to that Pokémon’s powers, moves, and capabilities. Meanwhile, even though all Soul Bearers are still bipedal, they closely resemble their lost Pokémon, having their colors, fur, wings, fins, claws, and any other signature features their Pokémon had.

But even more than that, they now have the power to perform a Soul Swap, which forcefully removes the corrupted soul of a legendary Pokémon, and allows their soul to take its place. Once this happens, the body of the Soul Bearer is absorbed into the legendary, and that Soul Bearer takes full control of the legendary Pokémon for the rest of time. In order to perform a Soul Merge, the Soul Bearer has to strike the legendary Pokémon with the palm of their hand, and will themselves into their body. However, most legends and their followers won’t even let anyone come even close to them, so the only way to do it is by force.

Most (not all) Soul Bearers are in fact surviving civilian Pokémon Trainers. As a result, they don’t have access and don’t know how to use GDI’s armor, weapons, vehicles, or their technology. As a result, they can only equip themselves with smaller armaments and conventional weapons they could only previously acquire.

THE GLOBAL DEFENSE INITIATIVE (GDI)

The human resistance though after having suffered horrendously tragic losses, still survives and still has the will to carry on. The surviving humans now hide and reside within underground bunkers, subway systems, sewers, or within buildings still standing that have survived the onslaught. The war against the corrupted legends and the swarms of misguided Pokémon that follow their lead and the will of Arceus are still a very critical threat, and must be dealt with.

According to the Global Defense Initiative, the only choice now is to kill the legendary Pokémon, and implement scientific technology that will mimic and replicate the kinds of powers the legendary Pokémon had on the surrounding planet, if it had any at all. GDI’s scientists are confident the plan will work, but in order for the process to be implemented, they need to kill the legend first.

GDI’s troops and Special Forces have specialized, high powered military weapons, power armor, technology, and armored vehicles all strong enough to withstand a serious amount of punishment. Many of their Pokémon are also exceptionally well-trained for riot control and tactical warfare.

It IS possible for a GDI trooper to become a Soul Bearer. However, in order for this to happen, one of that trooper’s Pokémon need to be killed in action, and that trooper must have had a close bond to them. The drawback of this is that most Soul Bearers will no longer be able to use the armor, and may not be able to use the power armor either, especially if they now have large, non-human features that the armor cannot compensate for. Because these circumstances are rare, if you make a GDI character, you cannot start off as a Soul Bearer, but you can become one later on provided all the conditions are met.

STATUS REPORT

According to GDI’s reports, this is the update on the regions after the legend strike.

KANTO: – Most of Kanto lies in ruins, though the region’s main strength was though its use of subway networks and underground tunnels that allowed the survivors to take refuge in. Meanwhile, there are still overlooked portions of Vermillion City and Pewter City that are still standing and are a stronghold for human resistance. However, most of the other cities and local towns didn’t make it.

SEVII ISLANDS: – The settlements on the Sevii Islands were completely decimated by the water Pokémon followers. Meanwhile, even Lugia had a hand in the destruction of these settlements. As a result, very little remains and there are no survivors to be found.

JOHTO: – The destruction on Johto had been especially cruel, leaving only fragments of Violet City still intact. And even though a harsh amount of destruction was unleashed on Goldenrod City, there are many stubborn survivors that still take up arms in the underground sublevels and the few buildings that are remaining. The only other town to have survived a large portion of the destruction was Olivine, but not by much.

HOENN: – Out of all the regions, Hoenn is actually in the best shape, but they have still been witness to horrific amounts of destruction on behalf of Arceus’s commands. Regardless, portions of Slateport are still intact, though flooded. Meanwhile, Rustboro City is actually in surprisingly good condition, but it may be only a matter of time. Mauville City and Lilycove City are also still half-intact, but besides those locations, everything else is in ruins.

SINNOH: – In contrast to Hoenn, Sinnoh is a decimated wasteland, and GDI has lost complete contact with them. From satellite reports, not a single city within the region still remains standing, and its doubtful that there are any survivors. However, they aren’t about to deem it as impossible. From the skies, there may still be a few buildings that house some of the last remaining Sinnoh residents, holding out until someone can rescue them…

ISSHU: – According to GDI, the region of Isshu has been under heavy fighting, and seems to be one of the main focuses of Arceus, as a large portion of the region still survives. For the most part, Arceus and his legends have conquered the northeastern half of the region, but the southwestern portion is still fighting hard to push back the legendary threat.

ORRE: – Orre still has many survivors, and has a massive underground settlement that very few Pokémon have been able to penetrate. Some of the local towns and outside areas have been destroyed, but there are still many areas of the nearby deserts that are home to people and their Pokémon, and have been all too easy to overlook by Arceus’s followers.

FIORE: – Fiore is another area still under a lot of fire from Arceus’s followers, but unfortunately here, they are winning, and most of the major cities and areas have been destroyed. GDI isn’t too sure what remains and who is still alive after losing radio contact with the region, but there could very well be areas that have lost communication but are still managing to hold on.

ALMIA: – Not much of Almia has been hit, mostly for the fact that not too many people have resided in the region to begin with. However, Altru Park was greatly devastated, but some of the nearby towns and villages have been partly or even completely overlooked.

OBLIVIA: – Largely overlooked, only a few places in Oblivia have been targeted by Arceus and his legendary followers. Most of the major manmade structures are destroyed, but the smaller towns and villages still stand, mostly out of Arceus’s desire to destroy more of the larger, more populated regions.

Oh how interesting things are...nyahaha...
This is clearly an in-progress.

Name: Rila Issa
Gender: Female
Age: 22
Resistance Division: GDI Officer
Appearance: Rila is one of those 'looks can be deceiving' people. Her elegant and flawless way of movement gives off the impression that her physique is below average. This is certainly not the case. She could easily take down a 210 pound adult male with a sweep and a flip, still looking as graceful as ever. Her eyes are a piercing blue, a shade of what a sunny day sky would resemble. Skin pale from lack of sunlight, and her dark clothes only contrast it more so. A navy long sleeve shirt, with swirling silver embroidering along the sleeves almost like a tattoo. Black pants, almost looking like worn dress pants, and simple black slip-on shoes. Around her wrists are numerous silver bangles that have dwindled in number over the years. Her GDI uniform consists of that of a long, trench coat with a high collar and hood, the GDI emblem on a badge over her right chest. Black cargo pants, hefting fewer pockets than what you would expect, and a black shirt. This uniform was custom made by her, for reasons no one is clear of. She wears a blue scarf over her neck to hide a scar that no one has seen.

Personality: Rila is an enigma. The way she talks, it's alluring, mysterious, and confusing all at the same time. She acts exceedingly calm, showing very little emotional range, and always seems to be out in the distance. She has her own methods of doing things, ones that are always questioned, always protested, however, seem to always work. No one knows how, but if she's apt to do something, it gets done. Rila has saintly patience, though certain things tend to 'set her off', or in other words, have her speak in a different, more straight forward line of thought. In a conflict, she is often the support, unless her real skills are needed. She is very close with her Pokemon, and rarely gives them command, letting them act as they feel they should. Some say she is some sort of mystic, or even religious. Religious she isn't, but a mystic, yes. She believes in the other realms, of fate, destiny, chance, circumstance, the list goes on. A constant with Rila that the GDI is constantly founded on is her loss of showing fear. Rila simply states when that is mentioned; 'I met my greatest fear, thus I have no reason to be afraid.'

History: Rila lived amongst a small group of travelling gypsies. These gypsies spoke in a dying language, so close to death that it's name entirely forgotten; only now to be referred to as 'Jhita'. They travelled between region, taking years at a time between them to take in the culture, knowledge, and to just have a good time. Rila, being the youngest of that group, and one of the only few who could speak english, benefitted most from the travels. She enjoyed herself, and with the Pokemon that seemed to follow along with them. Things seemed well off, even if they were constantly on the move. Rila had Pokemon for her friends, and her father. The group trained together, ate, slept, were sick even together. The times before the disaster seemed like a fairy tale. All one that would end quite soon.

Ironically enough, it was a visit in Sinnoh, a climb up Mt. Coronet to pay respects at the peak to legendaries. The Pokemon did not follow up the hill, but the assumption was made that the majority of them could not follow. Those that belonged to the gypsies were kept in their Pokeballs. Half way up the peak, an Absol appeared before the group, though only momentarily. Rila knew what that meant, and unknowlingly started to follow that Absol instead of her group. Falling farther down the mountain, a great tremor came from behind Rali. The next thing she knew was the sky turning an unimaginable shade of red. She was scared, and as the shaking continued, she was pulled away by the Absol far into the mountain. There was no light for a long time, until one of Rali's Pokeballs was bumped and jostled, accidentally releasing her Jaroda of which she called Reija. Reija saw this Absol taking her favorite person away, and attempted to stop the Absol, though confused as to what was going on. The Absol could only respond by easily knocking out the Jaroda and having to suffocate Rila to unconsciousness. The next thing Rila knew was that she was deep underground, everything seemed quiet, uncomfortably quiet. She stayed there with her Jaroda, having no idea how long she had been down there, or how long she could breathe for made her weary.

Months passed, the Absol bringing whatever food it could forage, or it seemed to store, as if expecting such unknown disaster to happen. One day the forewarning Pokemon brought Rila something familiar. A scratched up, Pokeball that was a darker red from what she thought of as 'soil staining'. Rila knew this Pokeball well, it belonged to her father. In the dark cave she opened it, revealing Obelisk, a Rhyperior of an extremely hardcore reputation. It was a glimmer of hope in the girls eyes and she knew it was a sign to leave. Using her father's Pokemon, now in her possession, she attempted to leave what she didn't know to be rubble of Mt. Coronet. It seemed to take weeks, months, even years almost. Then something else came to find her. A strange group of men came, almost a sort of unexpected rescue group. Without question they took Rila, Obelisk and Reija away. Next thing she knew, she was being taken care for at a facility. The GDI facility. That is where her coming into being an officer began. Rila grew up in the GDI, learning CQC, earning her riflery, flight training, and psychological analysis, even if she spoke in her dying, now nearly deceased language. Her approach on what Pokemon were being trained in the facility was odd, though it helped get those one that were. Her enigmatic aura was consistent since from her arrival to the present day. She owns the Absol that saved her that very day, though he acts much on his own accord outside the GDI.
Pokémon:

Reija the female Jalorda
Reija is Rali's trusted, lifelong partner. As such, Reija goes everywhere with Rali, listens to no one but her trainer. Reija can be defensive in more ways than one, but only acts when Rali feels upset or threatened. Reija shows just as much calm as her trainer does. She can be crafty when she wants to be, often outsmarting those she is disadvantageous against in training battles in the GDI arena's.

Hiita the female Blaziken
Hiita was first introduced to Rali as a Combusken when she was a teenager. The Combusken refused to listen to anyone and lashed out at the other officers when attempted to be trained. This is when Rali came in and was able to understand the Pokemon better. Soon afterwards, she evolved and became close to Rali. Hiita is the queen of the ass kicking, and that is as literal as it is...not literal. Hiita never steps down from a challenge as she has her pride at stake, and it's not for being a specially bred Combusken.

Obelisk the male Rhyperior
Obelisk was previously owned by Rali's father. The oldest on her team, Obelisk is more laid back and casual than her other Pokemon, though often gets into spats with the rogue Absol that comes and goes. Despite his looks, Obelisk is a sharpshooter and is as deadly in close quarters as he is at long range. He's supportive and reassuring of Rali and seems to make the most sense with any other human, which is saying something.

Xailr the male Absol
Xailr is very much a lone wolf, doing what he wants, when he wants, and goes where he pleases. Though he is owned by Rali in a Dusk Ball, he acts very much of that of a wild Pokemon, almost a double agent of sorts for the humans on how to defeat the legendaries. Xailr does often return to Sinnoh in hopes of finding some human life remaining on that wasteland.
Other: Rali may speak in her native tongue at times. She has an accent that sounds a bit ukraine almost with a hint of other cultures and has a decent understanding of english.

Name: Tashandra 'Tashy' Linku
Gender: Female
Age: 15
Resistance Division: GDI Scientist (Well Assistant anyway)
Appearance: Tashy is a spontaneous, athletic teenage girl. She constantly sports two sets of her GDI uniform, one in blue, the other in a green. It consists of a plain t-shirt with a vest sporting the GDI logo and cargo pants that are just too big for her because of her height, as she is a bit short for her age. They hide her no-streak sneakers, except for the slight bit of toe that sticks out. On her head she sports goggles for scientific analysis. She wears a pair of fingerless gloves, so dirty they turned black from their original grey, and there are worn edges all around the fabric. She constantly carries around her pack, the one that she got at the beginning of her journey as a Pokemon Trainer. Her short auburn hair and bright hazel eyes just scream energy about her.

Personality: Tashy is the kind of spontaneous, energetic and imaginative teen that you'd wonder about. Especially in these dark times. The only way she made a Scientist's Assistant was her constantly thinking out of the box. Tashy is a determined individual and always wanting to go above and beyond the call of duty, often meaning sneaking out on assignments of other officers to get out in the field. Of course, she often gets caught and in her own trouble, but she often comes with some interesting discovery to lighten her punishment. She doesn't like being called small, or isn't mature enough, or old enough to handle what the older officers can do. She's often the true sight of optimism and can warm anyone's heart.

History: Tashy grew up with the conventional family, living the typical life of the average family. It wasn't long ago that she started her Trainer's journey, living in Johto, she received her starter, a female Cyndaquil. The two bonded closely, Inova quickly taking on the personality of her trainer. As Tashandra went on the usual journey, she captured Demon, the first Nidoran male she had ever seen, thus, always under the impression that regular Nidoran were faded because they were pink instead of blue. In a spontaneous decision, Tashy went to the Isshu region, where she acquired her next two Pokemon, Caci and Gami. It was only a few months after this when the attacks began.

Scared, Tashy tried to go back home through Sinnoh, but was cut off due to it's rapid destruction, thus was kept in Isshu. Frustrated by her inability to make it back to her family, or help, she went around, looking for anyone or anything that would help. That's when she heard of the GDI, and using her massive imagination, she formulated a plan to get into the group, despite her age. Using various methods of sneakiness, fraudulent ID, she managed to sneak in to a GDI office. However, that's as far as she got. After she was discovered, people questions how she figured out to get past the GDI's initial security. After hours of interviewing, it was concluded that this girl had some genius behind her methods, though those methods were all very odd and unorthodox. She worked as a caretaker of facilities, slowly becoming interested in sciences and how things worked and why.
Pokémon:

Inova the female Quilava

Demon the Nidoking

Caci the female Denchura

Gami the male Crimgan

Default Re: [SU] Pokémon: The Last Living Souls

Sounds nice, I'll try to stay active for once.

Name: Isabel Amethyst (Isa Ayme for short, pronounced Ice-a-bell)
Gender: Female
Age: 15, Born on December 25, 1998.
Resistance Division: Glaceon Soul Bearer.
Appearance:
Past: Before the disaster, Isabel had long, chocolate brown hair. She had a violet Kimono with smaller midnight blue flowers around it. Around her waistline, a light pink band stretched out, blending into a deep lavender as it went around. Most times you would have caught her with an arrow in her right hand, with a golden band where she was gripping it. She has small, black Mary Janes and golden bracelets and leg bracelets. She has bright blue eyes, and a mad or stern look on her face depending on her mood.
Present: Now, Isabel has the same long hair, but it is mostly Midnight Blue, like a Glaceon's hair. The tips are a bit darker, and her ears are pointed like an Elves ears, and they have a tint of blue. Instead of her normally pale, tan skin, she has a normal skin tone with a tint of blue. Her dress has turned blue, and she now has blue gloves, stockings, and shoes. She has the tail of a Glaceon, and when she talks, it sounds a bit like a Glaceon. She now has short fangs that stick out of her mouth when smiling or growling.
Personality: Despite her name, Isabel is actually quite stern and, actually, emo. She believes life is worthless without Pokemon, and she walks away from many people that try to talk to her. She rarely smiles or laughs. She is sensitive, and likes reading, and shooting Arrows at Justin Bieber posters. She enjoys others sorrow and pain, yet looks out for her friends. She will not stop until she finds all of the legends, yet would kill someone who even touched her friends. It is hard to make conversation with her, but she usually nods, shakes her head, and points out directions if needed. She has a few friends, and it is oddly common for her to make friends. She is a good fighter if she has a set of arrows and a bow. She is otherwise a strong, silent type.
History: Before the disasters, Isabel lived in a small, two story house in Ecruteak City. Her parents were adopting Pokemon from shelters that never got picked, and sometimes selling them to trainers that came around. Isabel had a couple Pokemon that she liked, so her parents refused to sell them. Their backyard was mostly a Pokemon park in which kids and Pokemon could play in. Despite having such a great house and all, her family was not rich. Most times they spent money on arrangements for either me or the Pokemon, who each had their own pens, girl Absol here, boy Absol there, and so on. Isabel was tied to Pokemon by the youngest Eevee, a silver-maned Eevee. She got to claim the top floor, with her parents sleeping on the bottom. Isabel would let some Pokemon sleep in her room because she had four small Pokemon beds for them to sleep on.

When she got into school, she was slightly popular because of her parents company. She was bullied a bit, but she tended to stay away from the bullies. She turned most of her homework in on time, and was an avid reader. She mostly got good grades, but then it hit her: The only reason these people were being so nice to her was because they knew of her family. Either that or they are normally nice. She shrugged, going on. She would ride the bus to and from school because the school she went to was a private school in Olivine City. Most of the students there had some sort of famous parent or company, such as Isabel's.

When Isabel was 10, her mother sold all of the Pokemon but the young Eevee, giving the Eevee to her. Because she had lived with the Pokemon all her life, she ran to her room along with the Eevee, slaming the door, and burst out in tears. This didn't last long, but it caused an effect on her. She read less, and was meaner to the people at her school. She stoped visiting people, and became silent. She made an oath to never speak again, but she broke that oath. She became trustworthy to only her friends, and hung out in the woods a lot more.

Once she was 11, her mother set out to go to Sinnoh for a vacation, and Isabel went to Issue to train. There she met a Pokemon breeder who was selling odly colored and shiny Pokemon. The person had a son, by the name of Max Amalric. She let Isabel have one of the special eggs, an odly colored Zorua egg. Isabel thanked the woman, and she and Max set off to do their Pokemon journy.

when the two turned 15, a storm brewed over Issue, and Isabel looked into the sky, watching as legends appeared, starting to swoop down, taking out humans. She rushed for a shelter, and found a trustworthy wild Glaceon. Because she loved Glaceon, she grabed a Pokeball, capturing the Glaceon. The Glaceon would have escaped unless my Eevee hadn't turned into an Umbreon. It was 12:00 Pm and I had just taken my Pokemon out to get their hair styled, and my newly hatched Zorua got her fur fluffed. Of cource, I had given an Ever stone to my Zorua once I remembered that my mother had given me one when I was 5. I rushed back outside when I heard a loud Snap, and saw Zekrom rushing towards me. I had called my Glaceon out, and the two Pokemon started fighting. I can't tell you this too deatailed, because everything seemed to happen at once.

My Glaceon fell to the ground, turning into magenta and light blue dust. I, too, fell to the ground, sobbing. Suddenly, two legends appear, seeing that my Glaceon had died, and I turned into a blue person, A glaceon pokemorph, possibly, it was hard to tell. I can't exactly look at myself without a meror, can I?

After that, I ran back to Johto, trying to find any survivors that I could, and possibly any of my own kind. Rushing past legends as I could, dodging all blows. I would not let them get my two last Pokemon. Each day I would look to my side, wishing Max was there. Each time I forgot that he, too, was killed in Issue.
Pokémon:
Shadow, female Umbreon.
Shadow was Isabel's first Pokemon, mainly because Isabel never got a starter like most trainers do. She has blue eyes that can turn red in the night to show her odd night vision, or if she is mad.

Tsubasa, male Zorua.
Tsubasa, also known as Tsubi, was given to Isabel by Max's mother, who collects oddly colored Pokemon eggs and sells them, or gives the away.

Other: Isabel gets mad if you poke her, so for hevans sake, dont poke her unless you want an arrow in your shoulder, or a fork somewhere. She is horrible at throwing forks.

Personality: Robert is, first and foremost, a smart***. Not the kind that goes out of his way to hurt others, but rather he is a guy with a rather sarcastic sense of humor. He'd let up if he thought someone was actually taking offense to his jokes (unless the intent was to get on their nerves). Outside of his witty and sardonic sense of humor, Robert is a loyal friend who cares greatly for his Pokemon and his friends. In Pokemon battles, he would use both sets of wits: his mind and his tongue. He was one who could think on the fly and weave around the strategies of others in order to infuriate his opponent into making mistakes. However, he doesn't always need to rely on angering his opponent as he is quite capable of battling with his mind alone. He despises those who abuse, neglect or abandon others, regardless if the victim or offender is Pokemon or person.

History: Robert was born and raised in Pewter City, Kanto. His parents ran a Pokemon salon and spa, a place that worked in Pokemon massage, grooming and other various relaxational therapy. Robert was always around Pokemon since he was a baby and always loved playing with them. When he was old enough to go to school, he found himself defending others who were bullied or picked on: not by force, but by his sharp tongue. Through plenty of verbal sparring sessions, he had become skilled enough to make even hardened bullies cry. of course, this also got him in trouble, and he found himself getting beat on after school. However, those he helped banded together with him and eventually put a stop to the bullies, getting them suspended from school.

When he reached the age of ten, he was given a gift by his mother: a newborn Growlithe to be his starter. The two bonded almost immediately. Flare became his most reliable partner, and she was always out side of her Pokeball save for the few rare occasions when she needed to be put inside, mostly for league battles. As they traveled, Robert earned more Pokemon partners. One thing all of the Pokemon he rescued had in common was they were all abandoned by their former owners or victims of poachers. He rescued two Eevee sisters from a very cruel trainer by winning them in a duel where if he lost, he would have had to surrender his Arcanine to the thug. However, Robert's faith in his Arcanine and himself along with his skill easily won the battle. The Riolu he saved was one of a large group of steel Pokemon that were captured by a big-league poacher. Robert managed to break open the cage, and with the help of the captured Pokemon, drove the poacher off. Finally, when he heard about a Buizel that was terrorizing a small town, Robert confronted and battled the Buizel, and when it fled, he pursued. It took several days to earn the Buizel's trust and respect, and when he captured it and returned to the town, he learned that the Buizel was simply left there, abandoned by a trainer.

As he got older and more famous, winning several Grand Festivals and placing in the top 4 in various leagues, Robert used his accumulated wealth to open up a rescue shelter in the Isshu region. He was only 17 when he pulled this off. The shelter gave second chances to abused, neglected and abandoned Pokemon, helping them learn to trust humans again and find them caring, trustworthy owners.

Only a year had passed when the tragedy struck, when Arceus and those loyal to him went berserk on human kind. One such legend, Entei, attacked Isshu. Robert was busy trying to get the Pokemon under his care to a safe place when the legend attacked him. Flare managed to knock Entei off of his attack path with a blindsided Take Down attack. The two battled viciously while Robert called out attacks, leaving his own Pokemon to guide the other Pokemon into the underground bunker. Eventually, Entei fled to tend to his injuries, but Flare wasn't the victor of the battle. Only minutes after the fight, a heavily bleeding Arcanine collapsed into her owners arms and passed on.

At that moment, Robert felt something welling inside of him. Not his grief, but a strange power. He could feel a literal fire growing inside of him as he and the body of his beloved Arcanine Flare glowed intensely. The power of Jirachi and Mew's wish ultimately merged him with the body of his Arcanine partner, turning him into a hybrid Arcanine-human. In a telepathic link with the two legendaries, he learned of why the legends were attacking humankind and Arceus' intentions, as well as his new-found power: Soul Swap. It seemed the intention of Mew and Jirachi was so that a group of pure hearted humans would defeat and replace the corrupt legends that threatened humanity. Now Robert understood his purpose, and he had one target in mind: Entei, the one who killed Flare and attacked the rescue center.

Pokémon:

Lilac (Female Lucario)

Lilly (Female Espeon)

Lotus (Female Umbreon)

Sapphire (Female Floatzel)

Other: Theme: Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney:Cornered! (Red Wings Remix)

I'm in...Neo, before I begin, you never said anything about the Soul Bearers having to be nice...or even good...

Name: Jack Fallows Everet-Aka Blizzard.
Gender: Male
Age: 17, Born on Valentine's day, 1993.
Resistance Division: Soul Bearer-Wevile.

Appearance: Astoundingly, Blizzard had extremely dark skin and dark cardinal hair-naturally. His semi-athletic posture is a bit of a euphemisim, as he is, in truth, a incredibly strong person, more than his appearance lets on. He's tall, a bit on the strechy side, has and blood-red eyes, the kind that make people terrified on sight.

And that was BEFORE he got his soul bearer status.

The retractable claws of a Wevile are now present on Blizzard's body, as are fangs. Blizzard has also obtained the kind of fan-like crown that Wevile have. His left Eye has now obtained the genetic kink his Wevile used to have-a weird, sickly dark purple shade. the blood red in his right eye has also become darker and more terrifying.

In either case scenario, Blizzard always wore a black jacket and black jeans, and black gloves. A broach is the only real identifacation of what he currently supports-if there is none, Blizzard is neutral...which he currently is-he wears no broach.

History: Blizzard's history untill very recently is compleatly unknown..save to a few partons. However, it is definatly known that Blizzard did make a relationship with his Wevile, a gift from his dead father, and when it died by the hands of Heatran, it was about the time Mew and Jirachi made the Soul Bearers. Therefore, Blizzard was made one, taking the appearance of his Wevile, who's left eye was purple.

However...There is a question amoung the other Soul Bearers. As Blizzard has been (very recently) confirmed as the killer of countless people before Arceus'es invasion, Blizzard isn't highly trusted among his bretheren. It's unconfirmed if Blizzard has resumed his murderous ways. It's also unconfirmed if Blizzard had joined Team Rocket at one point. Blizzard was hunted down by humans and Pokemon alike after they realized that he was a killer, but before the war began However, the chaos of war can leave criminals undetected, so for now, he's rather ignored by both sides, giving Blizzard some time to plan out his future.

Personality: A absolute master of deception, Blizzard can make people think almost whatever he desires. Sporting a gentelmanly tone and using gentelmanly gestures and actions, Blizzard's true nature is actually largely unknown to those who know him. His ability to con and decive people has also been shown to those who know him to do such...and Blizzard has used this on them to drive them insane with reverse psycology. Only a few people in the whole world actually have a mindset that can diverge Blizzard's attempts to woo them and keep themselves sane whist watching it.

His motives are unknown to almost everyone...which is what Blizzard wants. Ultimately, in but one case, Blizzard has been able to keep them secret. Those who have been targeted by him have either lost their right minds, lost their minds altogether, or lost their lives.

Blizzard, in truth, is a very stressed, angry, vengful, and sorroful individual, but he's hidden all of that behind a mask of sick pleasure in killing...and meditation. Until recently, that is-the loss of his favorite Pokemon, his most prized possession, and the gift of being a Soul Bearer (and eventually, a Legendary), has made Blizzard a little vurnurable, and has caused him to rethink his ways...only time will tell the side Blizzard will fight for in the end.

Pokemon: Honchkrow (shiny), Sharpedo, Houndoom, Tyranitar

Other: a little known secret about the man is that his body structure was always a tad off-kilter, as his heart is behind his lungs rather than to it's left. He's also a contortionist, which is rather well-known.

Yes, I edited this.

@ ID Saraibre Ryu – You’re pretty much approved, just fill in the missing Pokémon and you’re set to go, unless there’s more you’d like to add to the other parts also.

@ Tokyokit – So far so good, just post and give me a heads up when its done.

@ Mewcario – Hey, thanks. Yeah, hopefully this will be a winner. Like above, just give me a notice when you’ve completed everything and you’re ready for me to check it out.

@ Latio-Reol – “Blizzard” is fine. Avalon is rejected though, that background history takes too much command on the background storyline. Everything starting from meeting Latios and Latias needs to be scrapped, sorry.

I had a feeling you'd say that, Neo.

Fortunatly, I had plans to scrap Avalon anyway, as I found the Character a little redundant for this RP, anyway.

Well, that's to be discovered in RP. You've got to find them and track them down.

And I'll put up a discussion thread.

I'd like to be reserved. My bio should be complete in a couple of hours. [/I]

Name: Aiden Winters
Gender: Male
Age: 19 Years Old
Resistance Division: GDI officer
Appearance:
Aiden has dark-brown hair. He pale skin and is about 5'11. Aiden has hazel coloured eyes. His usual attire is usually unusual and rather outdated clothes. He pretty much enjoys feeling unique. He is definitely a well dressed person in his own rights. He doesn't obsess about the way he looks but he cares about it. He seems like a well mannered person but he doesn’t really exhibit a lot of emotions on his face and people seem to get weirded out by that. He is very particular on the type of clothing he wears. He likes dark coloured clothing but he isn’t fussed on wearing colours to suit his mood.

Personality: Aiden isn’t rather emotive and it shows when you first meet him. He comes off as rather cold, closed off and detached from his feelings but that’s exactly the opposite the person he is. He’s rather thoughtful and helpful for those in need. It takes him a while to trust people but when you become an ally of his, he really looks out for you. He’ll always be there for his friends and families and especially his Pokémon whom he loves without a doubt. His courageous and heroic manner is something that he expresses from time to time, but would usually opt of doing anything that would get him noticed if he could help it.
He has recently developed an uncontrollable feeling of rage and anger due to his parents’ divorce but he has kept things bottled and put it all in his stride which can be unhealthy if you’re not expressing your anger into something useful.
He’s travelled around a couple regions and knows his poke balls from his potions so you could say his cockiness is within his ability as a trainer. . He has a slightly naivety streak going and will believe just about anyone. He does have tendency to be very sarcastic and although he seems rather together and perfect, He can come across as extremely hostile and rude which is something that’s occurring more and more with Aiden,
His attitude during Pokémon battles can seem rather brash and a personality difference but he’s very intense and serious when it comes to anything trainer related. He’s very analytical and is often seen paying a lot of attention on opponent’s strategies to come up with their predictability. Most of his battles to see what he can do to improve his own skills and become less predictable and make sure his skills as a battler aren’t traceable.
A trait he has gotten from his mother who is a Pokémon Specialist is his ability to be patient. He can be the type to seem sensitive one minute then totally switch and be mad about something. Like a lot of trainers, he desires to be one of the best trainers in history. He'll always strive to do so. His hopes and dreams have always been centered on that and it’s mainly his source for doing what he does. His love for battling makes him want to battle more until he is the one who defeats them all.

Ever since the disaster struck, he had developed some changes in his personality. He has kind of lost faith in the good things and has become slightly more cynical about turn of events. He is alot more closed off ever since his loss. He doesn't smile as much as he used to and only confides in his Pokemon.

History: Growing up in the Hoenn Region, Aiden has always been fond of Pokémon. He doted on them, especially since his parents had so many of them for their respective careers. He grew up as a happy, seemingly perfect child who has such bright dreams and desires and that he was. When he was on the verge of turning ten, he was completely ready to begin his journey. He left without as much as a bye to his parents before he busted his way through the doors and onto his exciting new journey.

Once turning the big ten, he received his trainer’s license and was excited about his new adventure he shall take. He had jumped around in his room for an hour about it. He had dreamed about having the possible journey of traveling around the regions and getting badges, meeting others like him, competing in the Pokémon League. He set off to begin his journey and once he had picked his starter and set off with a small 'see ya!' to his family. At the age of 16 Aiden has competed in the Sinnoh Pokémon League, coming eighth but he was determined to do better in his next region so he set off to Johto and got his badges and came fourth. He was impressed by his wins and traveled back to Hoenn where he decided to take a well deserved break. His father was now the running a Pokémon Farm in which he raised and sold Pokémon Eggs to various Centers and buyers around the regions for. Aiden decided to take time off to help out his father.

When he found out about his parent’s pending divorce, Aiden was in shock. He didn’t know what to do. It changed him unimaginably. He became more closed off and lost control of his emotions. He wasn’t the happy go lucky boy he was after this realization.

Since the disaster struck, Aiden has been pretty much closed off from society. He lost his parents in the wake of Arceus destruction. He endured alot and at such a young age. He wasn't sure what he could do so he decided to try and help but stay distant. He later found out about an organization set up known as the Global Defense Initiative which strives only to help those in need and to try and find a way to stop all the madness that has ensued. He has traveled quite a bit, training even more to do his best to be an asset for the GDI.

Eventually, after months of hiding out in a cave for training, he enrolled in the GDI. He became an officer, in hopes he could help out and sort of in a way, distract him from his sudden isolation in the world. All he has in the world are his Pokemon who he takes much pride and calls his new family. As he tries to do all he can against the chaos that is the world, can he overcome his loss?

Pokémon:

Female Leafeon -- Male Infernape -- Female Noctowl -- Male Garchomp

Other: Aiden is possibly quite a skilled officer and works closely with the higher ups because of attention to detail and focus at the task at hand.

Just wondering, would it be Ok if I had an oddly colored Zorua? It would have close to the same body color, but different eyes, head fur and a different mane.

That's fine with me, I've got no problem at all with that.

Name: Lieutenant-Colonel Alex Clyde
Gender: Male
Age: 35
Resistance Division: GDI Officer

Appearance: Standing 6’2”, Lieutenant-Colonel Alex Clyde weighs in at about 195 pounds. Meanwhile, he has a fair skin tone, short brown hair, and brown eyes. Due to extensive military training, Clyde has a strong, muscular frame, but also carries a few scars from the ongoing warfare. As a result, a few areas on his shoulders and legs show scars and other marks from lacerations, burns, and other attacks of “Rogue Pokémon” on the battlefield. However, as Clyde often says about anyone questioning him about his injuries, he often replies with “I’m still alive and kickin’, and they haven’t gotten me yet.”

Alex Clyde is very rarely seen without either a standard GDI uniform or Power Armor combat suit, but generally, he only wears the armor when in a very destructive battle. At other times, he wears the digital camouflage uniform, colored depending on what kind of environment he’s deployed in.

Alex Clyde’s main attributes include his keen perception, attention to detail, and his intelligence to assess the situation and make the necessary adjustments and improvise to carry out his mission objectives. He is also very quick to strike and is resourceful, showing a clear mastery of his agility and dexterity.

Personality: Lieutenant-Colonel is a battle-hardened warrior with a ruthless attitude when it comes to fighting. In the war against the legendaries, he shows virtually no mercy when it comes to dealing with the multitudes of Rogue Pokémon that follow the commands of the legends, or the legends themselves, though he hasn’t had the good fortune of coming across one yet. Regardless, he is extremely harsh, often “double-tapping” dead Pokémon just to make sure they stay down and don’t get back up again.

In terms of military division, Alex Clyde is a member of the GDI Armored Division, often supporting the GDI Rangers, the frontline offensive force that goes into the breach to defend and reclaim the fallen cities. Because of his position, he’s often making the calls on what targets to attack. Regardless, he’s often happy the Pokémon don’t have vehicles of their own, but in truth, in most cases, they don’t even need them.

Out of combat, Alex Clyde is actually a pretty reasonable and down to earth person who does train Pokémon of his own. Meanwhile, even though he shows little mercy for his enemies, he is extremely respectful of his comrades, allies, and his own Pokémon. Like other soldiers, he often unleashes his Pokémon if the situations are getting rough and the GDI army needs additional tactical support. So far, he has only lost one Pokémon, a Swellow that never returned from a reconnaissance mission. Alex Clyde never did find out what happened to her, but he doesn’t try to dwell on it. He knows plenty of officers that have lost a lot more than he has, including plenty of dead Pokémon and missing limbs.

History: Alex Clyde was born into a military family, as his father was a Kanto Air Force pilot while his mother was a communications analyst for the Kanto Navy. Meanwhile, he had an older sister named Natalie, who had trained to become Field Operative in the Army.

Alex Clyde’s childhood and education were bleak and not very exciting, as there was virtually no where to play at Fort Victor, where he was born. The other children of military families weren’t very social either, so he was often on his own. On his fifth birthday, he was given a Poochyena as a birthday present, and to Alex, it at first seemed like they would be good friends, but for the most part, the relationship was minimal and loosely attached. The Poochyena, named “Nighttooth,” simply saw Alex as just his owner and nothing more. There wasn’t very much connection there, and he never did look up to him at all.

When Alex was thirteen, his sister Natalie had died from a training accident when a Stinger missile had detonated prematurely in the launcher and ended up killing her and two other officers. In all truth, Alex had never seen much of Natalie, but her death did weigh down on him and his parents. Regardless, the family had received her belongings, which included Natalie’s Vulpix, Sugar. Sugar was given to Alex, and surprisingly, he bonded with her more than even Natalie had. To Alex, Sugar seemed much more lively than Nighttooth, more cheerful, and seemed more like a team player. Meanwhile, Sugar liked Alex simply from the fact he spent much more time with her and gave her more attention.

After hitting sixteen, Alex was allowed to join the Kanto Army as a Private, and while the basic training exhausted him, the fact he was going to become a proud soldier of his country gave him the confidence to carry on the legacy. Meanwhile, Sugar had grown much stronger, while Nighttooth had really only seen a small amount of action. Four years later, Alex had advanced several ranks, and Alex had acquired a Fire Stone to evolve Sugar into a Ninetales. Even though Nighttooth had evolved into a Mightyena, Alex was still much closer to Sugar.

It was then that the disaster had struck. The legends had declared war on humanity, all fueled by Arceus’s selfish and misguided rage. Countless cities were destroyed, many military personnel were slaughtered, and trying to regroup all those that were lost had become a daunting task. Regardless, all military branches of the world had quickly formed under the Global Defense Initiative, a Joint Operation of all worldwide military factions. For the first time, divisions that were once adversaries were now pooling resources and technology together, and were now capable of creating things that would have taken decades to develop on their own. Meanwhile, military divisions were also combined, ranks and promotions were given briskly to keep the chain of command intact. Without too much trouble, Alex Clyde had been promoted multiple times, eventually becoming a Lieutenant-Colonel.

Now, Alex is committed to finding a way to put down the legendaries, and use whatever technology GDI has to replace them. Regardless of all the destruction that has taken place, he still has the faith that they can still win this.

Pokémon:

Ninetales (Sugar) – Sugar was originally his sister’s Pokémon that Alex inherited after a training accident claimed her life. Regardless, Alex is very close to Sugar, and considers her to be the only real family member he can bring along with him. Meanwhile, she is exceptionally well-trained having gone through all four tactical training programs intended for preparing military commissioned Pokémon for active duty.

Mightyena (Nighttooth) – Unlike Sugar, Alex and Nighttooth aren’t really that close, and Nighttooth doesn’t always listen to Alex’s command… not unless it has become a matter of self preservation. Nighttooth simply feels he was really meant for another trainer, and he somewhat feels he missed out on a good experience.

Flygon (Jadewing) – In truth, Alex and Jadewing the Flygon aren’t too particularly close. Alex acquired the Flygon after finding his Pokéball on a soldier that was killed in action, and as he had the misfortune of discovering, the soldier’s dog tags had been melted by the fire and were unreadable, which made it impossible to identify him. As a result, Alex took Jadewing’s roughed-up Pokéball. Jadewing realizes what must have happened, but he just doesn’t know what kind of person Alex is and isn’t really sure what to expect. He doesn’t dislike Alex, but he just feels unsure about him.

Swellow (Shrike) – Shrike is a military commissioned Pokémon that was assigned to Alex for a particular reconnaissance mission. As part of the mission directives, Swellow was supposed to provide Alex with some kind of sign as to how many Rogue Pokémon were in an area. Problem was, he never returned, even after Alex waited six hours. As a result, Shrike is MIA, but Alex isn’t holding his breath waiting for him to come back.

Other: Alex has the training and experience to drive and pilot multiple kinds of armored vehicles within GDI.
