I have a little bit of input
Lately I've noticed that it is very good to have a diverse set of moves.
I used to only teach my pokemon damaging moves, but I've learned that it is also very helpful to have some status/continuing damage moves like(poisoning, burning, confusion, sleep) and moves that increase your attack/defense,etc or moves that decrease your opponents attack.

just a little thought.

That's common sense, you know. :- /

No offense, glad you're learning, at least. Although with RBYGSC, unfortunately such moves are difficult to come by, and seeing as the only defensive Pokemon on this team would be Vaporeon and Steelix, I like to at least have them help out in ways with type coverage. Besides, last time I checked Vaporeon can't learn Mirror Coat in Crystal -.-

Just a slight misunderstanding.

And I deeply appreciate that, thank you =3

So, I was just thinking about how iffy I am with Bite on Vaporeon, perhaps Haze over Bite? Or I could trade it back to my Blue real quick and teach it Mist.

Crobat has way more potential than that. Try this:

-Sludge Bomb
-Shadow Ball
-Wing Attack
-Toxic

Sludge Bomb and Wing Attack give you STAB, and Shadow Ball beats Bite for your Psychics and Ghosts. Toxic is just a nice annoyer for a switching opponent.

Not too fond of this one either:

-Sludge Bomb
-Giga Drain
-Sunny Day
-Solarbeam

Miracle Seed would go wonderfully with this set. Petal Dance as your only Grass move is interesting. :/

I'm against Sunny Day+Solarbeam, for obvious Fire-type boosting reasons. Petal Dance is quite obvious as the only Grass-type move, considering Mega Drain sucks. Last time I checked Sunflora couldn't learn Sludge Bomb, either. I'm sure it's a typo, but Serebii said Crobat couldn't learn Sludge Bomb as well, given that's the case then I'll obviously do a little editting. Steel Wing stays, type coverage, agreed with Toxic, agreed with Wing Attack, and once again, either Serebii typoed or Crobat can't learn Shadow Ball.

Checked: Only Sunflora can learn Sludge Bomb, and she doesn't use it well. No STAB, and if you intend for it to counter other Grass-types, the only Grass-types I seem to find are duo Poison, *Glares at Victreebel and Vileplume* so it really won't do much for type coverage.

The RBYGSC Pokedex at Serebii is crap. I don't like to use Serebii's information until the third gen. And why would you use Sunflora against a Fire type in the first place? :/ Anyways, obviously it's up to you. Just putting in an opinion. :P

But yeah, I forgot Crobat couldn't learn Sludge Bomb in Crystal.

Fur could fly and you may be set up against a Fire-type? Heh.

Quite perposterous how Crobat can't learn Sludge Bomb, though. I appreciate the advice, though, I'm sorry if I'd sounded snippy. Flu, snake hatchling trying to make a mad getaway, little disagreements in threads, not a pretty sight.

Also, I think I should replace Take Down for something else on Cicada.

The only other thing you could put on that would be any good in my opinion is Earthquake, but you already have it on Steelix, and it seems overkill to have it twice. Fury Cutter gives STAB, but I don't really like building power moves, because there's too much of a chance that your opponent will kill you before you give any respectable damage. I think Take Down is perfectly fine on it.

But dig makes you safer.

He's right in the sense of when fighting a Dugtrio and killing it, but how low are the odds?
