Niccholi(NPC-Incubus) and Clarisse(NPC-Succubus)
Hueco Mundo
Seekers

Niccholi smirked at the Hollow as it left. "I wouldn't be so sure of that, now, but I guess we'll find out sooner or later, even without the little raven to help." he sighed and then turned his attention to the vampire, who was pulling a "pitiful me" act. No grown man would just simply say “I seem to be stuck here,” and look helpless--at least not one with any good sense. Clarisse seemed to trust him, though--stupid girl. Of course, she thought it was a term of endearment with as often as he used it, and he narrowed his eyes at her, thinking the word idiot sharply, and Clarisse jerked her head around to glare at him.

"That's not a very nice thing to think about me, Niccholi!" She snapped, but Niccholi decided it would be fun to annoy her more and greeted the vampire while ignoring her.

"I'm Niccholi and the woman is Clarisse, my sister. She's a succubus, I'm an incubus. As for your predicament, we do know the way out--it's called a garganta--but you seem to have a nature like ours, I'd like an actual eason to show you the way out." He said with a polite smile, Clarisse frowned, but he'd rarely bothered himself ith what she thought, and he wondered absently if she'd have elbowed him if he'd been standing close enough. Oh well, she wasn't sadly for her, and he kept his gaze on the vampire's.

Blackmoon Ravenwing(Vasto Lordes) and Orihime Inoue
World of the Living: Karakura
Neutral, at the moment

"I don't know about Orihime, but I can. All the pressures crashing together, warring for space, some searching for blood, others for justice, and still more for something they worry about, it appears." Blackmoon murmured, sounding eerily not herself. "It gives that sense something bad's gonna happen, doesn't it?" She sighed, and Orihime looked curiously between the two of them and frowned.

"It just feels like a big black thunderhead to me, like a time bomb, waiting to blow... Kinda like Hueco Mundo when everyone invaded, I imagine Karakura was worse, but I don't know. It doesn't feel friendly, though, which means I don't like it. How powerful it's going to be is beyond me, but I'll protect everyone I can until I can't protect anyone anymore." She said softly, then seemed to snap out of the gloomy attitude everyone else had taken up and snapped back into her normal self. "Hey, you know what? I want some pocky." She said brightly, causing Bllackmoon to turn and stare at her openly.

OOC: I just love 'Hime's random coments.

Ronoh =Routaikakami=
World of the Living ; Karakura Town
The Holders (Lieutenant)

I flew quickly, soon reaching the western outskirts of the city. There didn’t seem to be anything out here, but I knew exactly where I was going. I reached a small clump of stunted trees, and the moment I passed them a large building abruptly sprang into view. There were seals places around this area, ones that were meant to hide the current headquarters of the Holders from others. There were seals to hide the building from view, to mask the Spirit Fire of those within (and indeed any spiritual pressure at all), ones to make to work on a person’s subconscious to repel them, and several others I didn’t know the workings of.

I ignored the guard, an older male elf, and landed on my belly a few yards from the old building. It had been some place of gathering before, I casino I believe, and was more than large enough for the Karakura branch of the Holders. Once I’d landed I trotted to the building, nodding once at the elfin guard as he stood aside for me. I pushed the door open and headed inside, leaving behind the warm sunlight and entering the dimly-lit main hall.

I paid no mind to those who greeted me as I headed for the back, passing through several doors and down numerous halls before reaching my goal. This door had a simple insignia drawn on it in what appeared to be white ink, but was in truth Spirit Fire given physical form. It was a warding symbol to hold enemies at bay, should they ever pierce this far into the buildings. I reached up and knocked once, waiting for the command to enter. When it came, I opened the door but did not enter the room.

Beyond the doorway lie darkness. No light from the hallway spilled into the room, seemingly kept from entering by the strange shadows cloaking the area. Being a creature of Light I was unable to enter as well. From deep within the room’s confines there came a spark of faint golden light. It vanished for a moment before reappearing; this happened every few seconds.

“Ronoh,” the Captain breathed in greeting. His voice was soft and could have belonged to a woman; in fact, the Captain could very well be a female. No one knew anything about him, but it was only to be expected considering he was the Prevailer of Mystery. Everything about the Routaikakami was an enigma, which was the name he called himself around others. I’d once heard Souta remark that even he knew nothing of his child’s true form or name. Trenia was probably the only one who knew anything solid about this being, but I wouldn’t have been surprised if she was as blind to him as the rest of us were. The only reason we even referred to Enigma as a male was because that was what he wished.

“Captain,” I replied, bowing my head respectfully. A twinge of anxiety threaded through me, but I quickly snuffed it. “I come bearing a message, or more accurately, a warning.”

“You do?”

“Yessir. It’s from Trenia.” A sharp intake of breath met my statement and I smiled grimly as the golden lights –Enigma’s eyes, the only part of him any had even clearly seen- widened. It seemed he understood the significance of the Prevailer of Time’s appearance. “She spoke with me just a short while ago. She told me that we must do more to protect the humans, that we must spend more time defending them. With respect, Captain…ignoring the humans is only going to bring about more chaos in time. The balance between the Soul Society and the World of the Living may start becoming unstable, if it hasn’t already. Not only that, by focusing so much energy on finding the Stones, if we should fail in that task, it is possible we will lose hope in our mission, and in losing hope we will fall into despair and be hopeless to do anything.

“Trenia also told me that there is a future worse than one where Shintoko has claimed the Stones,” I added, and Enigma’s eyes closed for a long moment. “Captain…we MUST help the humans. It is simply not something that we can put off any longer. If you and the others cannot pull your attention from the Stones and focus more on defending the humans…I’m afraid I will be forced to split from the Holders. And it is not only this branch that must stop spending so much time on the Stones and so little on the humans. The entire group must spend some time straightening out their priorities. Yes, the Stones are important, but so are the humans. So are the countless innocents being slaughtered every day, every hour, every minute.”

I fell silent, staring into the darkness. Finally, the light of Enigma’s eyes returned as he opened them. He looked at me, an unreadable expression in those brilliant orbs. After a moment the Prevailer of Mystery sighed gently.

“Ronoh…I would not have thought you would sink to such levels to try and protect the humans,” he finally said, and for a second I was shocked by his words. “Trenia does not get involved in matters, and even if she did-“

“I’m not lying!” I cried angrily, my hands clenching into fists at the accusation. “I’m not making this up! Trenia came to me not thirty minutes ago, warning me of things to come!”

“Even if she did,” Engima continued, as if I hadn’t interrupted him, “the future she told you is only one of many possibilities. Nothing is set in stone, nothing is predetermined.”

“Don’t you understand?!” I said, my voice going up a few notches in my anger. “If you and the other Holders continue on this path, THAT is the future that will come to pass! Unless you change your ways, the future will remain as has been foretold!”

“That is enough!” Engima declared, his own tone becoming heated. “For the past several weeks, all you have done is bemoan the fate of the humans! Don’t you see that if we don’t find the Stones, the humans will be lost?”

“They’re being lost already!” I cried, almost shouting. “They’re dying in droves, Enigma! At this rate they’ll all be dead before we find even one of the Fell Stones! And then what? There will be chaos, even more chaos than now, because of the overwhelming imbalance of souls between the Soul Society and the World of the Living. You and the others claim to be doing this in order to protect humanity, but the whole time you’re turning a blind eye to those you say you want to defend! It cannot be both ways!

“If you are so very blind and unconcerned on this matter, even after a warning from Trenia, then I suppose nothing I ever say will sway you. And if you are so set on this path you have stepped upon, then you will be walking it without me. I cannot ignore their plight any longer, Enigma. They are my duty, my charges, and I cannot turn a blind eye and a deaf eye to them any longer! Do what you will; I am going to do what I must.”

“Ronoh…” Engima called as I whirled, ready to leave the building. I wanted to ignore him, but I stopped after considering my options. If I was to be deemed an enemy I at least wanted to know. “I know how hard it is for you to stand by as they suffer and perish. I understand your feelings, and that is why I will let you go. If you leave, you will no longer be a member of the Holders. I’m not saying you will be deemed a traitor, but we will not assist you in the future, nor will we share information with you. You will be on your own. Do you understand?”

“I expected as much,” I replied without turning. “It is of no matter to me. The Stones…at this point, the only one I care about is the Light Stone. I failed to defend it the last time…I will not be so weak again. And I will not turn it over if I should locate it before you.”

“I would not ask it of you,” Engima responded. There was silence between us, and then a sigh from the room behind me. “If that is it, then you should leave.”

And so I left, without another word. I passed several others on my way out, ignoring them all as I exited the building. The elfin guard seemed to realize something about the situation had changed, because he gave me a somewhat sad look but otherwise ignored me. Once I was clear of him and the building, I returned to my true form and encased myself in my shield, flying back towards Karakura and back to where I felt the spiritual pressure of the others.

Zohara Desmond =Vampire=
World of the Living ; Karakua Town
None

Niccholi? So then this Incubus was the one that odd Hollow-not Hollow being had mentioned…Zohara’s lips curved into a grin as he bowed slightly, his façade of helplessness failing from him as quickly as it had arrived. He clasped his hands behind his back, chuckling softly as he studied the two before him.

“You wish for a reason, do you? I think I have a good one, then. You see, I had the fortune to meet a strange being not long ago. She felt like a Hollow but was different somehow. She was badly injured, but I made sure she didn’t up and die. Afterward she mentioned something about someone named Niccholi and how he needed to burn.” Zohara chuckled again, his laughter soft and brief. “You must be the very same one she spoke of. I’m not sure if this would interest you, but I can find her quite easily…then again, you could probably locate her easily enough of your own as well. But you should know that when I healed it, I had to part with some of my essence and put it into her. Not only can I find her more easily than you might be able to, I also might have some degree of influence over her. It will take several hours before my essence within her fades away.

“Ah, but then again, do you even care? If you’d been serious about killing her, I highly doubt she would have made it to the World of the Living. Even if she were lucky, I think you would have followed her to finish her off instead of letting her escape. Is it possible you don’t care about her one way or the other? Or perhaps you do care and that’s the whole problem.” Zohara shrugged and smiled a bit more, then abruptly spun around and brought his hands around, snapping a finger and summoning Chozi back. The large crow flew over Zohara’s head, cawing loudly.

“At any rate, if you aren’t in a helpful mood, that’s quite all right. There are plenty of Hollows tearing their way into the World of the Living. It’ll be an easy matter to hunt one down and follow it through. At any rate, I think it’s better if you didn’t go sniffing after that girl. After all, she’s going to be under my protection.” Zohara gave a very soft laugh at this, lifting a hand in farewell as he started walking off.

“Chozi, search for any Hollows about to break through into the World of the Living,” he called to the hell-crow above him. Chozi cawed in response before casting out a net of spiritual energy, hunting for the spike that would signal a Hollow about to enter the World of the Living.

OOC: Zohara is so devious XD. Hell, even I don’t know what he was trying to achieve with that little speech.

Kikiraru Dashinara~Routaikakami, Prevailer of Fury
Soul Society; ???
Humanoid True Form
Himself

Kikiraru leapt to the left, narrowly avoiding the wave of deadly energy, which cut straight through the wall previously behind Kikiraru like a knife would cut through butter. Kikiraru launched a small fireball in the Routaikakami's direction, but the Routaikakami easily blocked it, and launched a fiery attack of swirling flames, which engulfed Kikiraru, lashing at his skin. Kikiraru let out a roar, the flames extinguishing, and he glared at the Routaikakami, smirking as he pointed his arms at the Routaikakami. Two large swords appeared around his shoulders, slamming into them, immobilising the Routaikakami, cutting through it in the shape of a V, and a third sword appeared in front of the Routaikakami.

Suddenly, a masked figure erupted into view behind the Routaikakami, and unleashed a fiery jet black beam at it. Blackness engulfed the Routaikakami, shielding it from view, but an earpiercing howl erupted. The darkness subsided, and Kikiraru took a step back in shock at a large disfigured masked creature.

Crap, it's a Mutated Hollow. Kikiraru thought, cursing mentally.

Mutated Hollows were very hard to fight, extremely strong, and factor in the fact it was a Mutated Hollow due to killing a Routaikakami and it was even stronger. It could be a match for a Routaikakami, maybe even stronger. Kikiraru cursed, throwing his arms down, and sending the third sword flying at the Mutated Hollow. The sword bounced pathetically off the Mutated Hollow's skin, and Kikiraru's eyes widened in shock as the creature laughed, sending a massive burst of energy towards Kikiraru, who was flung off his feet, and crashed into the wall behind him. Pain eruped through his body, and he felt a liquid running down his back, but he stood back up, and glared at the Mutated Hollow, trying to formulate a plan against it.

The Mutated Hollow opened its mouth, an enormous black beam erupting from it, and it swarmed towards Kikiraru, who narrowly dodged it, the wall behind him exploding, spewing debris over him. Kikiraru heaved himself to his feet, wincing slightly as he studied the Mutated Hollow. Kikiraru pointed his palms towards the large Hollow, thousands of small crystals erupting from his palms, and embedding themselves in the Hollow's flesh. The Mutated Hollow laughed, preparing to attack, when Kikiraru slammed his hands together, and the small crystals exploded.

The Mutated Hollow stumbled, its chest shredded, but it continued to laugh as the flesh mended itself, and Kikiraru's jaw nearly dropped. The Mutated Hollow could repair itself. Kikiraru cursed under his breath, the tide now completely against him, since his opponent could effectively repair any wound he caused the creature. Kikiraru closed his eyes, a large cyan aura surrounding him, as two symbols came into existence in front of him, the first in old Routaikakami writing, the symbol of Anger, whilst the second symbol was of Fury. The symbol on the right, the one of Fury, glowed a bright crimson red, whilst the one on the left glowed a ruby red. Kikiraru moved his hands together, the two symbols joining together, before slamming his hands forward.

A massive cyan beam erupted from the center of the combined symbols, coursing towards the Mutated Hollow, before Kikiraru clenched his hands into fists, causing the combined symbol to shatter, and twirled his hands around each other, a small ball of crystals forming, and then launched that at the Mutated Hollow. The cyan beam slammed into the Mutated Hollow, and it stumbled back ever so slightly, before the ball of crystals slammed into it, the crystals exploding. Cyan energy swirled around the Mutated Hollow's body, wrapping around it, and then tightening, causing it to slump to the floor like a trapped deer, struggling to escape the trap.

OoC: well this took a while. Not for my choice, though. I'll laugh if me, Zoroah and Azaroth meet in Hueco Mundo. ULTIMATE ALLIANCE OF EVIL, ASSEMBLE!

Cuora Pani, Vasto Lorde
Hueco Mundo, deserted land
No one in particular

Suddenly, the weird hulking being near me made something, and all the excess energy I had absorbed from that other monster was vacuumed away into some kind of crystal that that demon swiftly pocketed. I'll have to keep up my guard around this one too...

"Thanks..." I replied as I made an effort to stand back up when he asked. "I was in a bad predicament back there... I don't know what would've happened if you didn't intervene. Stupid Routaikamigami and their meddling hypocrisy..." I sweared under my breath. Danger!
Don't trust him.

"Anyway, thanks for your help. I would ask you for your identity, but despite what they think of me I'm not such a savage beast as to have forgotten manners. I'm-We are-Cuora Pani, Vasto Lorde, probably one of the few who were not caught up in that silly Shinigami scuffle war. I'm a wanderer monster, and seeking with no luck something or someone who can free me of something that's been bugging me since as long as I can remember.
"Now, who are you?"

Azaroth~Demon
Hueco Mundo; Deserted Lands
Unknown

Azaroth nodded in response to the small creature, who he clearly towered above.

"Now, who are you?" the creature asked.

"My name is Azaroth." Azaroth replied. "I am a demon of a vast and ancient age, with powers in equal to that of a Routaikakami. Some refer to me as the Bone-Breaker or the Skull Smasher, but I more prefer to be known as Azaroth. I am a Higher Demon, more commonly referred to as the Demon alternative of a Routaikakami. There are only handfuls of such demons with as much power as me, the most well-known being the Seven, a council of demons who despise the Routaikakamigami, and have been launching assaults on them for some time now."

Azaroth stared calmly at Pani, a wisp of a sigh escaping the demon as it looked at the surroundings, taking them in. He had slumbered for a long time, and he didn't even recognise where he currently was.

"Now, may I ask what the hell is going on in the human realm, and why I was awoken from my slumber?" Azaroth asked, narrowing his eyes as he studied Pani.

Kikiraru Dashinara~ Routaikakami, Prevailer of Fury
Soul Society: ???
Humanoid True Form
Himself

Kikiraru smiled as the Mutated Hollow struggled with the bonds, but let out a small gasp as the Hollow erupted from the bonds, sending the energy shooting towards Kikiraru. He felt pain slice at his legs, and looked down to see a small wound on his left leg. Kikiraru glared at the Mutated Hollow, and began uttering a very rapid joining of powers.

"Kajanjo-12, Kitro-Pe, Karut'Ko, Kanka'Fei-1" Kikiraru uttered rapidly.

A large swirl of energy burst into existence in front of Kikiraru, a symbol surrounding the small energy ball, before a wave of crystals swarmed around the combined energy, whilst a massive energy sword skewered through it all. A flash of white light erupted, and the massive combination attack skewered through the Mutated Hollow's chest, the sword easily passing through the flesh as the crystal shards exploding in the Hollow's face, and the energy ball splattered over its unwounded chest area, and the symbol turned into a large energy dragon about five feet long, which slammed itself into the Mutated Hollow's body, exploding upon impact, and spewing the cyan energy all over the Mutated Hollow's body.

Kikiraru rapidly went on the offensive even faster, summoning two large swords, skewering the Mutated Hollow in the shape of a V, immobilisng it, before bringing forth the third and final sword, and flinging it at the Mutated Hollow. Kikiraru was breathing heavily, glaring intensly at the Mutated Hollow, struggling to continue the fight against the disfigured creature.

Niccholi(NPC-Incubus) and Clarisse(NPC-Succubus)
Hueco Mundo
Seekers

Niccholi's lips pulled back into a soft snarl and he glared at Zohara. "No, the Raven is mine to do what I wish with. Her "breaking" as Clarisse would refer to it was, was a slip of my senses, and her departure from Heuco Mundo was not planned, I'd keep well away from her if you wish to live mch longer, Mr. Desmond." Niccholi snapped, Clarisse looked stunned.

"Brother, let that inferior thing go!" She yelled, Niccholi rounded sharply on her and his arm blurred for a moment, stopping with an enlongated fingernail fractions of a milimeter from the center of her forehead.

"Don't you tell me what to let go of, Clarisse, when you eat all of the humans you try to interact with." He growled at her, the succubus's eyes got impossibly large and stared at him, frozen in shock. With his other hand, he flicked his palm out, creating a garganta. "Go." He said sharply though his teeth. "Before I change my mind and kill you now as opposed to later if you harm my Arrancar." He said with a deadly calm voice, he was serious on this one.

Aotori Hoshi(Vasto Lorde)
World of the Living, Karakura
No one's side, as of right now

Aotori fliched away from yet another cooing human woman, their incessant chatter annoyed and confused him, making him want to find his Oneesama even faster. "Slow and steady wins the race." The voice in his head warned, and Aotori frowned, thinking of telling the voice to just shut up already, towards everyone else, he was timid, but the voice didn't scare him, just annoyed him to no end when it wasn't being useful, which was right now. "Calm down, she's here and she's safe enough. Her spiritual pressure may be low, but it's stable mostly, and not completely gone." It continued, this helped slightly, but these were thing Aotori already knew, though why he was so focused on this girl would have been a nice answer to have. That was one of the questions the voice wouldn't answer, though it admitted knowing the answer. That really frustrated him.

"I'm close. Closer than I've been to her for awhile, did she forget about me?" He asked, it was something he felt rather than knew, and the voice in his head sighed.

"She may have gone to find the others, the palace was empty before, remember?" It tried to assure, but it didn't help, not when Aotori had felt races of others there and cloud smell her blood, see pieces of her sword on the floor, which he hadn't thought to pick up until now.

"I guess I should just be happy she isn't dead. I'd really be lost then." He sighed as well before rounding a corner and finally seeing her, he could feel it and see it was her, but just her back, not her front. With the joy of a child greeting a parent who'd come home from work, he let out a cry of pure joy and ran for her, opening his arms and diving for her back, giving into the childish instinct in him.

Blackmoon Ravenwing(Vasto Lorde) and Orihime Inoue
World of the Living: Karakura
Holder, sorta

Blackmoon wasn't expecting it when she heard the sharp cry of shher joy, she thought it was aimed at someone else--then the boy slammed into her back, hugging her around the waist hard. "Oneesama!" A the voice of a little boy cried happily, it was familiar and unfamiliar at the same time, "You're okay!" The same voice cheered brightly, and Blackmoon struggled to stay stnding, Orihime grabbed her arm to keep her from falling over, looking to the young boy clinging to the Arrancar's back.

"Blackmoon, do you know him?" She aksed, the Arrancar shook her head.

"Not by voice, I'd have to see him first. As it is, I thought all my brothers were dead." She said before the young doy let go and practically danced around to face her, the face was a younger version of one all too familiar, and a case of one of her sister's returns similarly came to mind, the Arrancar bit her lip. There was no way. None. "Aotori?" She gasped, the little boy nodded, smilling sweetly and brushing the hair falling in his face to reveal a mask remnant on his cheeks with soft marks in them that looked like bird feathers.

"Um-hm. Why do you look so surprised?" He asked, Blackmoon bit her lip again.

"The last time I saw you..." She didn't get it, he'd been alot bigger than he was now, but he didn't get it.

OOC: I assume Niccholi was talking to Clarrise when he made that Garganta and not Zohara.

===

Zohara Desmond =Vampire=
World of the Living ; Karakua Town
None

He heard the Incubus’s words, of course, but he also ignored them, smiling just a tiny bit. The Vampire had a feeling the strange Hollow he healed knew what he did. From what he could gather, the girl hadn’t understood what had brought on the attack that left her near death. Well, he didn’t exactly know either, but he was certain he knew more than the “Raven” did. Perhaps dangling this in front of her would freeze a bit of that icy shoulder she seemed to have towards him.

For now, though, he put it out of his mind and walked on, paying no mind to the drab, dreary landscape around him. As he walked, he focused on the stone the Hollow had said it wanted, in order to become an Arrancar. That’s when Zohara suddenly realized what the odd Hiollow-girl was; an Arrancar, though one unlike Zohara had ever met before. He chuckle a little and glanced up at Chozi, who was circling a good forty feet above him.

And suddenly the crow cawed harshly, folding his wings to his body and plummeting towards Zohara. He came out of his dive with a flurry of wing beats, settling on Zohara’s left shoulder and fluffing his feathers.

=A powerful Hollow is bashing its way from here,= the crow said, speaking in that odd manner the hell-crows had. =It might be a Gillian, maybe a bit weaker, I can’t really be sure. It’s about, oh, half a mile away straight ahead. It’ll be breaking through in a few seconds.=

“To where?”

=Somewhere a couple miles south of Karakura, I think.=

“That’s probably as close to our target destination as we’re going to get,” Zohara responded, breaking into a blurred dash. It didn’t take but a few minutes to reach the Hollow, a thing that was the shape and size of a large gorilla. In place of arms, though, it had several large, slimy-looking tentacles, which it was using to smash at what looked like a tiny gray bubble. It only took a few powerful blows for the bubble to burst with a loud pop, creating a swirling gray wall leading back to the World of the Living. Zohara darted over, leaping into the air and executing an awesome roundhouse kick that sent the unaware Hollow flying nearly seven feet before it crashed to the ground. Zohara landed lightly and flashed a fanged smile at the stunned beast before stepping through the gateway it had made.

Zohara made a sharp noise of discomfort as he passed from Hueco Mundo back to the World of the Living. The portal had certainly not been made for a flesh-and-blood being, and going through it reminded him of the days he’d spent incapacitated in the Soul Society not many decades ago. That was something he never wanted to go through again, that was certain.

Once he was fully back in the World of the Living, Zohara took a moment to orient himself before setting off at a loping trot. He’d reach Karakura before too long, and then he’d see what could be done about finding this stone the Hollow wanted.

Ronoh =Routaikakami=
World of the Living ; Karakura Town

I flew, returning the way I’d originally come. It only took a few moments before I caught up with the others once more, though now there was another Vasto Lorde with them, a young-looking boy. He was clinging to Blackmoon’s back, though he released her before too long and went to stand in front of her. I was too high above the group to hear what was being said, but I could tell the male seemed quite overjoyed.

I twisted down to fly about twenty feet above the group so they knew I’d returned, then spiraled back up into the air before searching for a suitable place to return to my human form. After a moment I spotted a dingy alley, sighing to myself as I flew towards it. After making sure no one else was lurking in the unpleasant-smelling shadows, I landed and donned my disguise. After making sure it was secure I exited the alley, moving to intercept the group. I rejoined them a few minutes later, unable to really hide my anger at Enigma’s accusation of lying about Trenia’s warning. I’d never spent enough time in a human form to learn how to hide what I was feeling; I knew disappointment and irritation would be clear in my eyes, that the hurt of Engima’s words would be etched into my face.

“It would seem we’re on our own,” I said softly. “I gave Enigma Trenia’s warning, and as I expected I was brushed aside. On top of that, since I am more concerned with the welfare of Karakura’s humans, I have officially been cast out of the Holders. I no longer rank among those who need to know information on the Fell Stones. Not that it matters…only the Light Stone’s safety is of any real concern to me, and even that takes second precedent over defending the humans of this place.” I smiled bitterly, folding my hands behind my back as I walked. “How sadly ironic. The Gods are becoming the devils they so desperately struggle against…”

I then shook my head, casting away the dark thoughts, refusing to let myself slide back to the despair I’d so recently pulled myself out of. If the others wanted to be so blind, then let them. I would do what I had to in order to fulfill my duty. I focused on the new arrival and smiled faintly, realizing all this must be very confusing for him. In fact, some of it would be confusing to all of them. I decided that, if these people were to be my new allies, I would explain everything to them, including who and what I was. Not just some random Routaikakami named Hise, but the Prevailer of Light known as Ronoh.

“How much further is it to your shop?” I asked Orihime, turning my gaze to her. “Once we arrive I think it would be best to explain matters more thoroughly.”

Soyana =Routaikakami=
Doshon, Emerald Ocean
None

The Prevailer of Souls clutched Oogama Akai, staring into the crystal-clear water of the ocean spread all around her. By displacing air with a thin sheet of Spirit Fire, the corpse-like deity was able to stand upon the water’s surface. Currently she was standing several miles out, her cloudy gaze lowered between her bony feet. A soft breeze tugged at her tattered maroon robes and stringy white hair. Above her, the sky was dark red which was quickly fading to the deep violet of night. The dark orange moon was a thin strip on the horizon, making the water all around Soyana look murky and tainted.

“How far we have fallen,” she said softly, her voice barely above a whisper. Beneath her something large swam by. It was gone in a brief flash of black scales, swimming deeper with the approach of night. Soyana sighed softly and raised her gaze from the water to the setting sun, shaking her head in a sad manner as millions of tiny golden lights started appearing across the sky. These were Doshon’s versions of stars, only instead of being burning balls of gas, they were pockets of trapped, compressed Spirit Fire. Soyana glanced up at them, smiling without joy or humor.

“Not a century ago, my brothers and sisters would have never imagined this strife arising between us. If Trenia had told us it was a possible future, we would have laughed and told her she was seeing things. None of us would have ever thought it possible, that we could become so divided, so torn by hate and greed. When…when did so many of us become shadows of Shintoko? How long will it be before more of us become just like him?”

When the Routaikakamigami had first split amongst themselves, most of them had tried to sway Soyana into joining their chosen faction. The Prevailer of Souls had turned them all down, claiming allegiance to none but the souls she was tasked to free. Them, and as of late the humans who were beginning to be in danger of being wiped out. In the past, Soyana never would have dreamed she’d be getting tangled up in the lives of living humans, but all this madness sweeping the globe had forced her to make a decision. She could either ignore the increasingly possible issue of humankind’s annihilation and thus the destruction of all the worlds, or she could work twice as hard to try and save people instead of dealing with the effects of their deaths.

Because of this, Soyana had been doing what she could to assist the humans begin targeted by whatever creatures were slaughtering them. She had still refused to take any sides, as it was obvious all of them were degenerating to the same level. She worked on her own, doing what she could in the manner she saw best. The only time she interacted with any of the various factions seeking the Stones was when she stopped by the Karakura branch of the Holders. The youngest Routaikakami, Ronoh, had been naïve enough to be caught up int the Holders and their passionate efforts in finding the Stones. She was the only reason Soyana stopped by, especially as of late; she’d wanted to keep an eye on the youngster and make sure the various pressures didn’t get to her. Lately she’d seen the poor beast beginning to fray around the edges a bit as she started to realize that those she’d once believed in were little better than those of the Seekers.

And with just that thought of the younger Routaikakami, Soyana felt an urge to check up on her and make sure she was doing all right. After the incident with Shintoko several centuries ago, the Prevailer of Light had, understandably, had a few trust issues. Soyana wanted to try and prevent the youngster from that kind of hurt again. She knew it wouldn’t be long before something was said or done, something that broke the young Prevailer’s belief in her fellow Holders. What she was worried about was that broken belief might cause the young Routaikakami to return to Doshon and never leave again for fear of being hurt once more.

Swinging her scythe, Soyana ripped a portal into the World of the Living, stepping through the swirling crimson vortex and emerging just a few miles away from the headquarters of the Karakura branch of the Holders. Gripping the handle of Oogama Akai tightly in her left hand, the Prevailer of Souls started forward.

Uryu Ishida =Quincy=
World of the Living; Karakura town
Unaffiliated

Uryu couldn't help but looked stunned for a few seconds. "What does Pocky have to do with anything...?" He said aloud, raising his eyebrows in surprise when a boy, who had a similar spiritual pressure to Blackmoon, suddenly tackled the female Vasto Lorde. "Well... I'm certainly meeting a lot of new people today. I'll say the same thing I said to Blackmoon; so long as you don't decide to start killing the people in this town, I can't say I have a problem with you being here. Orihime, I think we should get to your shop soon. It looks like it's going to rain soon."

He noticed that the clouds were moving in fairly quickly. Definitely another sudden shower. He wasn't really surprised, either. In the back of the Quincy's mind, the explanation played again; the clashing spiritual pressure of so many different beings was creating a lot of updrafts and influencing the weather in unpredictable ways. It hadn't gotten to the point of being more catastrophic than the usual thunderstorm, but he hoped it wouldn't get that bad. He really just hoped the Routaikakami would hurry up and leave Karakura; most of them saw Humans, Soul Reapers, Hollows and the Quincy as nothing more than ants, from what he'd seen so far, and they had no concern for tipping the balance of souls. They'd be in for a nasty surprise if that happened; he doubted even they could survive the collision of the two worlds. He shook his head and pushed the thought out of his head; he really shouldn't be considering this. He'd destroy two Hollows for every lost soul until the balance was destroyed, and he knew his allies had a similar bearing.

He listened to Hise speak when she arrived, and he couldn't help but feel sympathy for her. So that was what she had gone to do. Appealing for them. So far as Uryu was concerned, that was good enough. Getting kicked out of the group was a hard punishment considering she was only attempting to help those who were mostly defenseless against the swarms of Hollows. "Don't worry about it, Hise. You're welcome to remain with us as long as you need to. Since Ichigo lost his powers as a Soul Reaper, it's mostly been up to the few of us and the Soul Reapers who come through to keep the Hollows from killing everyone in town. We need all the help we can get. But we should get going; I'm sure none of us wants to get rained on if we can help it. Orihime's store is just down the street, if I remember correctly."

Zaraki Kenpachi =Soul Reaper, Captain of Squad 11=
Soul Society, Captain's Meeting Room
Unaffiliated

"Again you come to me with your haori in tatters, Kenpachi!" The whithered-looking old man on the chair in front of Zaraki said, ramming the base of his cane into the wooden floor. "I told you to take care of that one!"

"Tch. Like it matters," Zaraki replied, rolling his eyes, only one of them appearing to move because of the eyepatch. This was so boring... He'd rather be attempting to spur Unohana into a fight. Yachiru usually wasn't allowed in, and he thought he'd seen her wander off behind... Isane or it might have been Ukitake, he hadn't really gotten a good look. He'd seen white or silver hair, so he guessed it was one of the two. "I'm the captain of the combat division, did you really expect this thing to stay in perfect condition, old coot?"

"Hmph! That haori is your symbol of honor as a captain!" Yamamoto said back angrily.

"Yeah, and I guess that's the reason why you drop yours on the ground every time you fight," Zaraki retorted, not sounding too much more interested. This old man was one of the few Squad 11's captain had no desire to fight, but he didn't give much more heed to him than he did to anyone else. Taunting him was just another part of being Zaraki Kenpachi; it was just what he did. Not to mention if the old man got frustrated enough, Zaraki could just leave and get away with it with only a minor scolding. "If all you called me up here for was to yell at me about a piece of clothing, I'm leaving. Now what'd you really want, old man?"

Yamamoto's eyebrows lowered in frustration. Zaraki was like Byakuya in the sense he didn't really consider the white cloth to be symbolic of honor or anything. If you asked Zaraki, it tended to get in the way; he'd lost count of the numbers of times his Zanpakuto had snagged on the end of the thing and ripped off a part of it. "I called you here to bring you up to date on the events you missed while you were on your crusade to the World of the Living."

Zaraki gave a feral grin. "You expected me to stay here when there's things over there that might actually give me a decent fight? I thought you'd have known better than that."

"Silence! Do not interrupt me another time, Zaraki Kenpachi," Yamamoto said severely. "You aren't leaving here until you have been brought up to date!"

Zaraki rolled his eyes again. Just what he needed; another lecture about what was going on. May as well get it over with now. He'd continue his slow attempts at angering Unohana enough to draw her sword when this was over; the captain of Squad 4 was hiding some kind of fighting techniques, he knew it. And he was intent on finding out just what they were. Damn these make-up meetings!

Rukia Kuchiki =Soul Reaper, First Response Division Captain=
Soul Society, Rukongai mountains
Unaffiliated

Rukia Kuchiki sat in a crouch, Sode no Shirayuki in its Shikai on her lap. A secluded little outcropping of rock like where she was now was the perfect location to quietly train with the Zanpakuto. Judging by the relaxing of her previously rigid posture, she had finished with her communication, Sode no Shirayuki returning to the sealed form of an average katana as she sheathed it, standing in the same motion. You learned something new every day, or so the human saying went. She couldn't say she'd ever heard it in the Soul Society, actually, despite it being partially true. Most every day you could learn something new, but sometimes you had to wait a few days for something new to come your way.

At least, that's the way Rukia had figured it up to this point. She couldn't quite explain the liking she'd taken to the World of the Living; books, food, clothing, sayings, etcetera. Something about it made it all seem so familiar, but there was always one or two little things that set it apart and made it special. And, with her position, she was in the World of the Living more than she was in the Soul Society. It kept her very busy, but she couldn't say she didn't enjoy what she did. Rukia gave a bit of a sigh, and turned to examine the damage done this time. As she expected, the rocky outcropping in the mountainside was covered in a thick sheet of ice that showed no signs of melting any time soon. Not too bad, all things considered.

Letting her training and unintended release of her Bankai during her meditation go off to the back of her mind, she opened up her senses to the outside world, detecting a few nearby. One she recognized instantly as Captain Unohana, and another as a Soul Reaper she had met before... from... Seventh division? She couldn't quite remember; Rukia had only met him once. The rest were weak, but she recognized them as Soul Reapers. That was strange... She understood Unohana would be out gathering herbs, but the others... Had something happened? That was the downside to the meditation; it required all your focus to go into contacting the Zanpakuto. It isn't my fault you weren't able to sense them earlier, Sode no Shirayuki invaded her thoughts, as Rukia started off in a run in the direction of the spiritual pressure of Captain Unohana and the other Soul Reapers she was picking up. For a brief flash, she felt a Hollow, but it was quickly dispatched.

Arriving fairly quickly, Rukia quickly pieced together what happened in her head; the group of mostly-unconscious Soul Reapers had gone to the World of the Living in response to a Hollow attack, but had apparently been overwhelmed and escaped back to Soul Society using the Senkaimon. Somehow, a Hollow had followed them through, and the seventh division member (His name was Shenichi Taniguchi, if she remembered right from their one or two meetings) had finished it off when it tried to force open the Senkaimon enough to get through. That the Hollows in the World of the Living were mutating to that level of strength... She shuddered to think about it. Rukia immediately picked out the downed Soul Reaper with the worst injuries, kneeling beside the man and checking his spiritual pressure up close. So far as she could tell, he would be the first to die because of the heavy injuries sustained. Not to say the others of the group were in any better condition, just that this one's was considerably worse so far as her somewhat limited medical skills could tell.

Unohana was nearby, but Rukia couldn't exactly let them lie there about to die when she had some knowledge of healing Kido. She held her hands over the worst wounded of the five Soul Reapers, soft green light coming from her palms as she worked at, if nothing else, giving him the few minutes it would take for Unohana to get him back to the Squad 4 barracks. "Sorry to start without you, Captain Unohana," Rukia called out, feeling Squad 4's captain coming back with the other man (She felt bad for not remembering his name) shortly after. She'd exhaust herself before these wounds were healed, that was for sure; healing was not her specialty. "I'll help however I can; just tell me what you need me to do."

???
Hueco Mundo, Forest of Menos
???

The gargantuan Hollow landed lightly far below the sand. It was here most Hollows resided, living in fear of the more powerful ones above. How convenient it thought That one of them is breaking through to the World of the Living. I almost forgot that he could not open Garganta. It's become such a natural thing since I commandeered this body to move between worlds. I wonder how surprised he will be when he finds out who I am The Hollow chuckled aloud at the thought, giving a loud shriek, calling for the hundreds upon hundreds of other Hollows hiding deep beneath the sand of Hueco Mundo.

"It's time," The Hollow announced "that we show the Humans and the Soul Reapers what the Hollows are truly capable of," It said, finishing speaking before its brethren began arriving. Tricking these idiots was simply too easy; as soon as they learned it had learned to fire a Cero, most of them would do exactly as he said.

Trenia =Prevailer of Time=
World of the Living, Karakura outskirts
???

"It's been a while, Sonya," Trenia said in greeting. She actually hadn't meant to be in the vicinity of the Prevailer of Souls when she arrived, but she figured since she was in the area, she may as well say hello. After all, she had time. All the time she needed. Things certainly weren't proceeding as she'd hoped, but Trenia had been well aware there was only a slim chance of convincing 'Enigma', as he called himself, that he was wrong. The Prevailer of Mystery had developed quite the ego over the last millenia. Foolish as always, never believing anything he did not conclude himself. Some people... It really was unfortunate he didn't realize that if the balance of souls tipped too far that almost every living thing, including himself, would be obliterated.

"Since you're here, why don't I walk with you for a while?" The Prevailer of Time suggested, giving a gesture for her to lead the way. Sonya was one of the very privileged few with whom Trenia spoke with often. She was well known for appearing whenever she pleased, but not many realized that these times were few and far between, even longer if you considered the flow of time from her point of view. Roughly ten Routaikakami had met her in person, actually; she much preferred to remain behind the scenes... not to mention the rumors people made up for the Prevailer of Time never ceased to amuse her. "You seem to be keeping yourself well, old friend. How are you?" She asked, giving a friendly smile.

((Ended kinda weird. BUT BWAAAA HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! LOOOOOOONG POST! (for me anyways) *dramatic pose*))

OOC: Actually he was talking to Zohara.

Niccholi(NPC-Incubus) and Clarisse(NPC-Succubus)
Hueco Mundo
Seekers

Niccholi flicked his wrist, closing the Garganta. "Fine, then. Be like that and don't accept help when it's offered to you on a silver platter. Suits me fine." He snarled before jerking around and then coming to a complete stop.

"There's a mass of Hollows gathering." Clarisse said, echoing perfectly what they both knew. He shook his head and sighed, it appeared they would be making multiple errands today. He looked at Clarisse and shrugged.

"I believe we've found what that Hollow was up to." Niccholi murmured, Clarisse threw back her head and let loose a wild laugh, as though she found the statement totally hilarious.

"No crap, Niccholi. Let's go." She said, taking off without another word, wings pulling her into the air and shooting off.

Blackmoon Ravenwing(Vasto Lorde), Aotori Hoshi(Vasto Lorde) and Orihime Inoue
World of the Living: Karakura
Holder, sorta

Aotori gave Uryu a long look coupled with a frown. "Why would I hurt people? Oneesama says life is important, and we shouldn't abuse our powers to take life away." He said softly, Blackmoon's lips pressed into a hard line, she'd told him that nealry forever ago, she was surprised he remembered such a line, then agin, he looked totally innocent and about ten years younger than he had last. Orihime squealed and restrained herself from hugging him to turn to Uryu.

"He's sooooooo cute! Anyway, pocky has nothing to do with it--I just want some. As for getting to the shop, it's just a few blocks away, you're right, it does look like it's gonna rain. So there you have it Miss Hise, the shop's not too far away, and we can discuss everything there." Orihime said brightly. Aotori loked from new face to new face shyly, as though just realizing he was surrounded by other people who weren't Arrancars.

"Oneesama, who are these people--where did Aizen-sama go?" He asked, wide-eyed, Blackmoon sighed and relented to letting him grab hold of her arm and cling to it before she explained.

"Aizen-sama is been gone for a long time. These are my new friends, and you're going to have to trust them. We both have to, okay?" She said softly before looking at Orihime. "Can we hurry?" She asked, Orihime nodded and picked up her pace from the pace she'd been using before, and Blackmoon with Aotori clinging followed.

Default Re: The Fell War Saga <A Bleach RP> [RP] =REVIVED=

Zohara Desmond =Vampire=
World of the Living ; Karakua Town
None

It wasn’t long before Zohara reached Karakura Town. For a minute he thought about tracking down the others, but that thought quickly dissolved. They were of minor importance, even though it would be fun to deliver what he knew to that female Arrancar. Ah well, there’d be time for it later.

For now Zohara had to figure out how to get the stone that odd Hollow wanted. He knew that the shop’s owner had been the Captain of a Squad some time ago. He couldn’t remember which one, but that hardly mattered. Zohara wasn’t concerned with having to fight to get the stone; no, since his return from the Soul Society, Zohara was relatively certain he could match a Soul Reaper Captain blow for blow and perhaps even win the match. However, he wanted to avoid fighting if he could. He knew this Urahara associated with various people of Karakura. He didn’t want to run the risk of his “friends” knowing Urahara and finding out he’d beaten up a Captain to steal some precious gem. That would certainly undo any and all work he might put forth into securing subjects to “help” him in his quest for the Fell Stones.

A simple solution would be to send a flock of hell-crows. They didn’t share any spiritual pressure with Zohara, and he wasn’t the only person who could summon them. Even if Urahara did eventually meet Zohara in person and notice his crows, he couldn’t exactly blame Zohara for the attack. All hell-crows had the same spiritual pressure, none other than Chozi and other Flockmasters having their own unique imprint to separate them from one another. And Zohara normally didn’t summon Chozi unless he needed the more intelligent, powerful crow for something the lesser ones couldn’t do, On top of that, Zohara wasn’t exactly going to send Chozi and allow anyone at the Urahara Shoten to see him in order to recognize him later.

“Chozi, summon half the flock,” the Vampire ordered, and within the minute there were roughly seventy large crows swarming over Zohara’s head. Unlike a normal flock that would be cawing madly, these crows knew when to remain silent. The only noise from them was the flapping of their many heavy wings. Zohara watched them flying overhead and smiled a little.

“I have a task for you all!” he called to them, sweeping his arms out dramatically. “I need you to go to a place called Urahara Shoten, and when you get there you must steal something for me. Go, you know from me what the place will be like. You will not see it at first, will not sense it, but you will know when you have arrived. There are wards to prevent unwelcome ones from drawing near, so it will take your combined spiritual pressures to overcome these wards. But take heed! Do not kill anyone there unless they prevent you from your goal! There are enough of you that you should be able to find your target long before anyone realizes why you have come. Even if they did, some of you can act as a shield to hold anyone at bay while the others search for the item you seek.

“And this item is a stone. I know not what it looks like or what it is called, but it has the power to make a normal Hollow into an Arrancar. I do not know if it gives off any kind of spiritual energy, so you will simply have to take anything that remotely looks like it could be what you seek. Tear the place apart if you must, but find that stone and bring it to me!”

Zohara then dropped his arms, the signal for his crows to leave. Now croaking uproariously, the mass of devilish birds winged towards their destination. Zohara smiled a bit, watching the crows flying off. Anyone present at the Shoten would have no idea why the crows had come, and they’d be far to distracted to realize the crows were looking for something. Zohara knew Urahara’s type. When the crows invaded they’d instant;y be seen as enemies and set upon. The crows being attacked would defend themselves while the others went about their search. The best thing is the defending crows, with their bizarre feathers that could turn away all but the most devastating of attacks, would easily outlast even a Soul Reaper Captain. Even if any of the crows were killed, it’d be such a small number that those remaining would still have a fair chance of finding what they were sent to get.

Ronoh =Routaikakami=
World of the Living ; Karakura Town
None

I smiled at Uryu’s words and gave a silent nod of thanks, listening to the others and peering up at the clouds as we walked. By now they had thickened to the point of blocking out the sun, making it look like night was falling in the middle of the day. I shuddered a little and wrapped my arms around myself, not liking the ominous sign at all. I knew these were no ordinary storm clouds. These clouds were physical signs of the Earth’s rage and growing instability. The World of the Living was tipping towards destruction, and the Earth knew it.

I considered telling the others this as we walked, but decided against it. I would leave it as one of the things I explained once we reached Orihime’s shop.

Then I sensed a powerful Spirit Fire that quickly died away to the barest flicker at the back of my mind. I blinked and glanced around, ut of course Soyana wasn’t here anywhere. Her Spirit Fire was coming from the headquarters I’d just left, and with a pang I realized she was coming to check in on me. The old Routaikakami had always been exceptionally nice to me, teaching me things and helping me through the hard times of my first millennium of life. When Shintoko had tried to kill me, she’d been one of the ones to come by and spend time with me as I’d healed. I knew her ghastly appearance made many uncomfortable; I, too, had once been uneasy in her presence. But after getting to know her, I learned to look past her outward appearance and appreciate her for her personality.

“Soyana…” I mumbled, looking back up at the gathering clouds. “I think we may be having another addition to our little group,” I told the others in a louder voice. Best to give them ample warning so none of them took Soyana’s looks the wrong way, as she’d surely be tracking me down soon to speak with me. “Soyana, the Prevailer of Souls, has arrived in the World of the Living. She is…well, to be blunt, she is a bit gruesome to look at, but don’t be misled by her appearance. She is very kind and compassionate. When she learns what happened she will probably come to see how I’m doing.”

\\\

Soyana =Routaikakami=
World of the Living; Outskirts of Karakura Town
None

Soyana, unlike just about every other Routaikakami would have been, wasn’t surprised when Trenia appeared and greeted her. She nodded her head once to acknowledge the other’s words, waiting for her to finish speaking before saying anything herself

“It has indeed been a long time,” Soyana replied with a very faint smile. “My job always seems to keep me completely occupied in these dark days, and we all know your reputation as being one to view things from the sidelines, as it were. I have been…” And here the Prevailer of Souls sighed heavily, allowing the stress she was feeling to show. It wouldn’t do any good to try and hide it from Trenia, who probably already knew anyways. “I suppose I am doing as well as can be expected, given the times we face. I do what I can to ensure the trapped souls are freed, but there are just so many of them that I do not have the time to send even a fraction of them off before they twist into Hollows. On top of that, there are some of our brothers and sisters whispering that we should simply give up and withdraw to Doshon, remaining there and letting things play out in the other worlds as they would.

“I’m sure you already know this, but I cannot begin to understand…many of those who haven’t seen nearly as many eons are certain Doshon would come through the destruction of the other worlds. They don’t realize that Doshon is connected to those other worlds; if it weren’t we’d be unable to travel to them from here. Any of the worlds can be accessed from our home. If anything, it would be the first to go if destruction came to the other realms.”

Soyana sighed and shook her head, drumming her fingers against Oogama Akai and staring into space for a moment. She then shot Trenia a look and smiled.

“Enough complaining from me. How have you been faring through all this?”

===

OOC: Remember, Zohara’s hell-crows were holding several Captains at bay in the Soul Society over one hundred years ago. Since then they’ve become more powerful. That’s not to say they might easily kill a Captain or even a low-ranking Soul Reaper; they just have crazy defenses, though a group of about twenty or so could easily shred a weaker person to death. They are creatures of the Deathscape, after all :P.

Also metal, it’s “Soyana” not “Sonya” XD.

((You and your confusing names, DoH XD))

Uryu Ishida =Quincy=
Karakura Town, World of the Living
Unaffiliated

"Very well then," Uryu replied to Hise. He really did feel sorry for her, kicked out of her group for trying to tell them what would happen if the balance between souls was disrupted. Was her former leader an idiot or something? Even Uryu, a Quincy, knew of the delicate balance between the spirits in Soul Society and the Human World, and the catastrophic chain of events that would follow suit. He was killing as many Hollows as he could, but he could tell that the balance was shifting dangerously. The clouds were evidence, though he wouldn't say anything to the others.

It started to rain just a few seconds after they got inside Orihime's shop. Perfect timing. The flower shop was surprisingly large despite having looked small from the outside. The front wall was all windows, so the rain beginning to fall was visible in the light of the street lamps beginning to turn on from the darkness. He flicked the light switch to bring some light in to the dark store, knowing the layout from being invited over many times by Orihime. "We made it just in time. thank you for opening your store to us, Orihime. So, you said you wanted to talk to us, Hise?"

Trenia =Prevailer of Time=
World of the Living, Karakura outskirts
???

"Oh, you know. Trying to keep these idiots from destroying everything in existence, considering kicking Enigma again... The usual," Trenia said, giggling. She recalled the time the Prevailer of Mystery had done something extremely arrogant about four thousand years ago and she'd been asked to give him a roundhouse kick. She obliged, and to this day the 'Enigma' still had no idea what had knocked him across the room. She was disappointed to think he'd become pig-headed enough to think he could survive the world colliding-- She doubted even she would survive something like that. She frowned and shook her head. "I'm guessing you've noticed I've been here for some time now. And I'm sure you know what my presence here signifies, too."

Trenia shook her head. "I'd suggest you speak with our arrogant Prevailer of Mystery before anyone else. I asked our friend Ronoh to give him a message for me. I think you'll be eager to hear his response to it. And even more eager to call him out on his arrogance. I'm honestly amazed; I could have sword I passed word down through the chain of command how important it was we take care of the interferences we cause down here no less than fifteen thousand times. You'd think they would heed the warnings of someone who knows how things like that end, wouldn't you?" Trenia rambled, which was normal for her in normal conversation. Soyana knew most all of what was going on right now; warnings to her weren't really necessary. Besides, Soyana figured things out quickly; her saying something would just reinforce what her old friend already knew.

((That's all for now~))

Blackmoon Ravenwing(Vasto Lorde), Aotori Hoshi(Vasto Lorde) and Orihime Inoue
World of the Living: Karakura
Holder, sorta

Orihime laughed and watched Blackmoon and Aotori look at the multitdue of flowers wide-eyed and like children. "It's not like there was much else closer that we could talk freely in. Besides, I had to show Blackmoon flowers." Blackmoon turned her head and smiled.

"They're so pretty! And they smell good, we don't have anything so colorful or fragrant back home." She replied, reaching out to stroke to the petal of an orchid, Aotori crouched down to inspect another potted orchid on the floor, eyes bright with curiosity.

"Oneesama's right. What are these called again?" He asked shyly, half hiding behind Blackmoon as he addressed Orihime. She smiled and barely glanced at the flowers before replying.

"They're all flowers, but those are orchids. They all have specific names, and they're all different." She told him before looking to Hise. "Now what was it you wanted to talk to us about?"

Kikiraru Dashinara~ Routaikakami, Prevailer of Fury
Soul Society; ???
Humanoid True Form
Himself

The sword coursed through the air and Kikiraru watched it with concern, his eyes widening in shock when the Mutated Hollow sent a shockwave of energy through the air, shattering the swords embedded in its skin, as well as the sword hurtling towards it. Kikiraru cursed under his breath, as the Mutated Hollow unleashed a sparkling spiral of energy which surged towards Kikiraru. Kikiraru braced himself, summoning a small swirl of energy in front of him. The spiral of energy slammed into the swirl, the two merging, evolving into a large oval of energy, and Kikiraru sent the oval hurtling towards the Mutated Hollow, the energy slicing through its left arm, the arm dropping to the floor with a thud. Kikiraru smirked, but the smirk dropped when the Mutated Hollow's arm regenerated, growing out of the stump, and a bellow of laughter rose from the Mutated Hollow.

Kikiraru narrowed his eyes as he glared at the Mutated Hollow, an idea springing to mind, but it would take up a lot of energy. Kikiraru shook his head. He needed to use it. Kikiraru took himself into a stance, staring across at the Mutated Hollow as it lumbered forward. Kikiraru began to circulate energy throughout his body, zoning himself in, preparing himself for this monumental task. Kikiraru gathered a vast majority of his energy into one point, before preparing to unleash it all at the Mutated Hollow. This was, in a sense, his last ditch effort to take out the Mutated Hollow, since if this failed, he would most likely die. The good thing about using this power was that it sent a shockwave through the worlds, so all it would need is someone to recognise his power pattern, such as Ronoh.

"Kito'Ba-Shon'Ti18!" Kikiraru roared.

In front of Kikiraru sprouted thousands of energy swords, along with small balls of energy, blotting him out from sight as he laughed. Within moments all the energy had been amassed, and he launched the barrage at the Mutated Hollow. The swords zoomed forward, slashing at limbs, the balls exploding over the Mutated Hollow's body. Kikiraru couldn't see what was happening, but once the chaos died down he broke out in laughter. He had actually done it, the attack had succeeded. Kikiraru smirked, his face contorted into something akin to pride. Kikiraru quickly scanned the surroundings, making sure there was nothing else that could attack him, and when he saw nothing, turned his full attention to the scene of the Mutated Hollow's body.

The Mutated Hollow's body was in tatters, limbs strewn everywhere, and it was most definitely dead, since its head was carved into multiple pieces. Kikiraru couldn't believe how powerful the Mutated Hollow had been. If all Mutated Hollows were as powerful as the one he had faced, then there was going to be trouble, since the Seven had an army of Hollows to command, and with the knowledge of the power the Mutated Hollows had, they would surely try and create more. Kikiraru slumped onto his knees, his vision blurring, as two crimson portals erupted into existence several steps in front of him, a dozen Hollows stepping out of the portals, and examining him. He didn't see much else, before he slumped completely to the ground, consciousness completely lossed to him now.

Ronoh =Routaikakami=
World of the Living ; Karakura Town
None

I found a stool to sit on, watching Blackmoon and the other Vasto Lorde inspect the various flowers in Orihime’s shop. Their reaction was funny, but I could understand it. There were things in the World of the Living that didn’t exist in Doshon, things that were pretty or breathtaking. The first time I’d seen some of these things, I’d been as awed as the Arrancars were.

After giving everyone a few minutes to get settled in, I folded my hands in my lap and sighed, deciding to start at the beginning.

“Many hundreds upon hundreds of years ago, the High Routaika, Souta, created the Fell Bracelet, It was meant to be a means of protecting those who couldn’t protect themselves. Certain people were chosen to wield the Bracelet, defenders of life and humankind. There were many of my kin who felt the Fell Bracelet was a bad idea, believing that its power would lead to corruption. Unfortunately, it turned out they were right. The Bracelet was given to someone who was lured to darkness by its power.

“This person, sadly, had to be slain, and the Fell Bracelet was broken into the ten Fell Stones. The Stones were then scattered across the worlds in the hopes that they would never be gathered together to reform the Bracelet. I took the Light Stone to keep it safe, absorbing it into my being so that no creature could take it even if they learned I had it. I am, you see, the Prevailer of Light, and I felt a kinship with the Light Stone. At any rate, I was certain I could keep it safe from any who would try to misuse its power. I was not counting on betrayal, though…

“Shintoko, the Prevailer of Chaos, had decided he wanted to gain the powers of the Fell Bracelet, and over the years he went about finding and collecting the Stones. Finally, the only one he didn’t have in his possession was the Light Stone, the one I myself was protecting. Knowing this, he saved the Light Stone for last. When he came to me, I had no idea it was to try and take the Stone I held.

“Because I had absorbed the Light Stone into myself, Shintoko had to tear open my very essence to try and retrieve it. He was much stronger than I, and I had no chance of preventing him from ripping me apart and taking the Stone. Only my will to warn my brothers and sisters kept me alive, and somehow I managed to find and tell Souta what had happened. Before Shintoko could reform the Fell Bracelet, Souta and many other Routaikakamigami converged upon him, sealing him away in the darkest pits of the Deathscape and once again scattering the Fell Stones.

“It took me several centuries to fully recover from Shintoko’s assault, during which time I was forbidden to leave Doshon, the world of the Routaikakamigami. Only when I had healed did Souta feel I was ready to continue my duty, my duty to protect and guide humanity during their darkest moments.

“And then, there came those seeking the Fell Stones, Soul Reapers who felt they could use the power of the Stones and the Bracelet for their own means. These Soul Reapers banded together and named themselves the Seekers of Fell. But there were others, others who wanted to find the Stones and keep them hidden, keep them safe, and these beings formed the group known as the Holders.

“When the Routaikakamigami learned of this, many did not hesitate to take sides in the coming battle. Some felt the Stones should be used to keep humanity “in check”, and thus joined the Seekers. Other felt the Stones must only be used to protect the defenseless, and those ones joined the Holders. Still others felt they could use the Stones to fulfill their own purposes, and some felt it best to not get involved at all either way.

“Madness soon started to spread as those hunting for the Stones rushed to be the first to find them. There was so much going on that known of us realized Shintoko’s seal was weakening. Only when he managed to break out of the Deathscape and…”

Here I could not help but pause. The pain of speaking about Souta’s murder was as sharp and horrible as the day it had happened. I took a moment to compose myself, realizing I was shaking a bit but unable to make myself stop. When I felt as steady as I was going to get, I continued.

“Shintoko returned to Doshon and murdered Souta. When that happened…it was like someone had thrust a searing dagger into my heart. It was worse than when Shintoko had attacked me for the Light Stone. I felt like I was dying myself, but I knew I wasn’t. And even though I had never felt that kind of agony, I knew right away what it meant. It meant the High Routaika, my father…had been killed.

“But there was more to it than that. Souta was the Prevailer of Balance, and he always kept the power of the Routaikakamigami in check when we went to the World of the Living. Much like how Captains has restrictions placed upon them when they come to this world, we Routaikakamigami never had full access to our strength and powers when we came here. But when Souta died, that limitation was suddenly gone, and we found ourselves at full strength in the World of the Living.

“None of us was used to this, and conflicts amongst ourselves quickly became much more devastating than they had once been. It was impossible for the humans to overlook us, to overlook the hidden world of monsters and beasts they had only believed existed in myths and fairy tales. And it was then that humankind became drawn into this pointless war.

“Another unforeseen side effect of the full power of the Routaikakamigami in the World of the Living was the fact that the sheer amount caused Hollows to mutate. You must understand that we never had to learn how to compress or otherwise hide our Spirit Fire; it was always done for us by Souta. It is why so many of us cannot do it now, and thus, our raging Spirit Fire is a beacon to the Hollows that swarm here from Hueco Mundo. I myself have been trying my best to learn how to do it, but I have had little luck.

“And that, my friends, is how things came to be as they are. I understand this may be difficult for you to grasp at first, but I feel it is important that you know why things are the way they are, and how they came to be this way. Also, I must make a confession. My name is not Hise; it is a name I came up with to hide my true identity from others who might abuse the information. It was mostly as a defense to protect others of the Holders, but seeing as I am no longer a part of their group…

“I am known as Ronoh, the Prevailer of Light,” I finished. I then nodded towards windows, watching as the rain that had started minutes ago came down in thick, heavy sheets. “I would show you my true form, but I fear this space is not large enough, and even though there will not be many people out in this foul weather, there is a chance the wrong person may happen by and see me. I think it best to reserve you seeing what I really look like for a time when we are safer, or if I must fight. A Routaikakami’s power is reduced greatly when they are in their human form, you see.” I smiled, a bit bitterly, and shook my head. “You’d think my kin would be able to stomach that, at least, to try and cut down on the number of Hollow attacks and Mutated Hollows, but many are simply too proud to wear a human form.”

Soyana =Routaikakami=
World of the Living; Outskirts of Karakura Town
None

Soyana listened to her friend, scowling as the Prevailer of Time rambled. When she had finished, Soyana gripped Oogama Akai’s handle so tightly her bones popped.

“Enigma always was far too bullheaded,” the corpse-like deity said. “I do hope Ronoh is all right. By what you said, she didn’t receive the best of responses from the message she passed along. If Enigma has caused her grief I will see to it that some visits him as well.”

She then nodded at Trenia before starting off again, moving with more grace than one would think a creature of her appearance could. Her Spirit Fire, which had been bottled before, flared up just a little in her anxiety to learn what had transpired between Enigma and Ronoh. When she noticed it she quickly squashed it back down. As old as she was, and thanks to the fact that she worked closely with relatively defenseless souls, Soyana was one of the few Routaikakamigami who could disguise her Spirit Fire, reducing it to levels that were practically indistinguishable from a normal human’s. It never did well to act like a beacon, leading hungry Hollows to trapped souls.

OOC: To the people I owe things - Shen, metal, anyone else - I apologise. It's just my training is pretty full on, but you know by now that I'll get to it eventually. So here goes for the moment. I'll add on if my requests to DoH go through.

Matsumoto Rangiku
Lieutenant of the Tenth Division
The Dangai Precipice World, In Between
Seretei

A growl (one that, on this woman, could be dangerous or seductive, depending on the atmosphere) was Gin's response to his caution, a clear indication that Rangiku, no matter what happened, still detested being spoken to like she was some green Academy brat. Yeah, no thanks; she'd gotten into brawls at the sake bar over less, so this qualified as something that would tick her off.

Anything more that could have been said though was swallowed up in the eerie world that was the Dangai. Rangiku had been here before. To be honest, once had been enough for her. She was no healer, but there was something in her that shuddered and chilled her to the bone even as she flash-stepped like wildfire in Gin's wake, as if the cries of the tortured and lost desired to wrench her from the path and devour her in a bid for light as readily as the Koryu.

As if in response, Haineko shuddered, though much to Rangiku's surprise, her zanpakuto's presence was...far more receptive than it had been. Briefly, she remembered when it had come to her after the spirits had been released and run off, desiring to be closer to her. That had literally gone to hell after Gin had returned, but for this moment...Haineko seemed almost, comforting.

Whatever it was, the shuddering was enough for her to draw the ash-cat spirit from it's scabbard, and the female Shinigami held her weapon out to her side, letting the metal sing in the windless, collapsing corridors of the Dangai in a comforting, exhilirating manner. For a brief moment, she felt strangely light-hearted, like she'd been in what seemed so long ago, and...

Something slithered coldly around her leg, and Rangiku's shriek was soundless and muffled as she kicked violently, grabbing for the nearest support as she did so. Whatever it was slithered away, and she looked down. Much to her horror, she realised she'd almost done exactly what Gin had warned her against, and her blood chilled further as the Koryu receded even as the light into the world of the humans became brighter.

If it was possible for the dead to breathe in fresh air, Rangiku did so when they burst from the portal. Temporarily blinded by the sudden brightness of late afternoon sunlight, she clung tightly to whatever it was that had supported her before, clinging to it as she orien-wait.

Shaking her strawberry-blonde head, Rangiku blinked hard several times, blue eyes attempting to focus on just what exactly she'd been deathgripping since her lucky escape from the Koryu. The close scent alone was enough to tell her, and looking up, she found the recipient of said deathgrip had been none other than her old friend's hand.

Craaaaap.

For a moment, she let her gaze travel up to his face - they said curiousity killed the cat, after all. But just as quickly she willed it to be over, and fighting almost angrily against the flush threatening her cheeks (of humiliation, damn you all), Rangiku looked away, her shoulder turning in an instinctive defensive maneuvour even as her hand slipped out of his, choosing to take up the excuse of carefully, if distractedly, resting over Haineko with that age-old care of a katana and its wielder, spiritual or no.

Unohana Retsu
Captain of the Fourth Division
Rukongai Mountains
Seretei

A spiritual power as adept as the Fourth Division Captain meant that she had not missed what had occurred when it had, even if it was only in spiritual presence alone. For a moment, her brow had furrowed, thinking that that Zaraki Kenpachi was at it again, but a closer inspection had told her otherwise. These days, Captain Zaraki's spiritual pressure in a fight was...still malevolent at the best of times, but there was an odd...was mischief the word to it? Playfulness? It was almost as if his little fukutaichou's very nature had somehow made it's way into the behemoth of a man's own spiritual pressure.

Tightening her basket to her side and her zanpakuto to her back, the graceful female turned on her heel in the direction of the malevolent pressure, nose crinkling slightly in a way little known save for a very few as she further ascertained what she could. That millenia honed instinct drew her onwards, and as if by well-oiled clockwork, her feet carried her onwards with a swiftness over the rocks at odds with her almost idle meandering moments before, not so fast that she would barge upon something that would put herself and others in danger, but enough for a flash-step or three in between.

Enough so that she nearly bypassed - well, to be honest, collided with the young shinigami who sought her out, and again, only years of experience gave her that ten second warning to still her pace on the very rock she now stood upon as the young one, Shenichi, entreated her assistance.

In a less grave moment, she might reflect on the gentle aspect of the boy, the politeness that was so rare in the young males of...well, any of the worlds. More pressing matters required her attention though, it seemed, and pausing only to tuck that errant piece of hair over her nose and out of her face, Retsu lifted her chin...firm serenity in the storm even as her voice was gentle.

"Of course. Lead the way, Taniguchi-san."

The words were more a courtesty than anything else, for it was clear she knew exactly where she was going, and had left the rock in the direction of the fight even before Shenichi could likely get his bearings enough to actually attempt to show her the way. Well, no harm done, he would follow, certainly.

It was out of concentration rather than rudeness that Retsu did not answer Rukia when she called to her. Her attention was centred far more on her now-patients. Indeed, Shenichi had been right - a swift examination of each proved them all to be critically wounded, one of the females close enough to death that the healer-captain felt it necessary to resort to if not dramatic, at least desperate measures.

"Stand back," she said softly to those who still stood, giving them the briefest moment - every second counted - before drawing her zanpakuto. Seemingly without a word, nay, even a command, the diminutive woman held the red and gold blade outwards from her chest.

As if it were a hallucination on a hot day, the blade began to haze, green mist emanating from the hilt and coalescing into a large cloud that engulfed the very surroundings. The mist swirled momentarily before forming into a nameless shape, which finally resolved itself into the form of a giant manta-ray that towered over the very tree-tops, swaying gently on it's one leg in the breeze.

Despite it's fearsome look, Minazuki's manner was...oddly gentle, calm, an eerie little trill escaping it as it's one eye focused down on its mistress. It appeared to need little wordplay or command to be directed, though Retsu spoke softly to it, making those most critically injured clear to the healing zanpakuto spirit so that it could take them into its mouth. Of course, none save Retsu knew that to take six so injured was something of a challenge for Minazuki; she hardly ever allowed it to carry more than five.

Once the injured were within the safety of her zanpakuto spirit, the fourth division captain turned her attention back to the others, her deep blue eyes settling on Rukia. The girl had offered to do what she could, and though her kido was limited, it would be enough to take care of those here less injured, and Retsu herself would send a party up to assist the Kuchiki female once she had returned.

"I must take them back to the fourth division quarters," she murmured quietly but firmly, "Minazuki will ensure the stability of their condition for the moment. You must stay here, Kuchiki-taichou. Tend to those who remain; I will send a party to assist you further upon my return. There appears to be no further threat at the present, but if there appears to be, be sure to contact the closest fighting force...Zaraki-taichou's reiatsu seems rather close by. Try him if you need assistance and I have not returned."

The older woman's lips seemed to twitch oddly for a moment, as if she somehow found something she'd said ironic or somehow amusing. It was gone just as quickly though, and then Retsu had nimbly set herself upon Minazuki's head, kneeling on the manta ray spirit's head and turning her gaze to Shenichi.

"You, Taniguchi-san. You will return with me. I wish for a report of what occurred in full, and I believe your taichou would wish for the same. Come..." Retsu's lips twitched slightly again, and if she had been any other, she almost seemed to smirk playfully and slightly, though of course, it was Captain Unohana, "Minazuki does not allow anyone to fall from him."

The manta-ray cooed irritably in response.
