This thread is for discussions for the rp King of Monsters.

Also, I'd like to discuss how this will work. Each Millennium Item, once picked up, is bound to the trainer. The only way it can be stolen is if the holder is challenged to a duel. The item will activate and create a deadly Shadow game. Since trainers don't have dueling discs or even know how to play, their duelist partners will be the ones battling. The winner then decides the fate of the loser. This can be anything from letting them live unscathed, trapping their soul in an empty card, or trapping their soul in the shadow realm where it will eventually be devoured. The winner gains or keeps possession of the Millennium Item. Normally, a Rocket will attack and throw in with a Pokemon battle. the elite members will have been instructed in the game through Griffon's gained knowledge and mystically acquired decks of cards. The elites will be the ones challenging the trainer/duelist pairs to a Shadow game. Anyone who tries to outright take or touch an item that is bound to someone else will fail, as the item will repulse them.

Sounds cool to me. I have a quick question. Can I have Surge the way I usually do? Like he can mix ice and fire type moves, or will I not be allowed to have him?

Sure, I don't see his uniqueness being a problem.

Cool. One more question, are we limited to have our Pokemon only know four moves?

I will limit it to eight moves. Four moves are too limiting, but it's impossible to a pokemon to know every possible move it can know at the same time.

Okay. I was just wanting to know because I want to post what moves my Pokemon know so you can approve of Surge's moveset once I get the SU finished.

...Oh dear, I fear for whoever winds up with Mana as their partner. She's not very good on a normal basis.

I'm going to feel bad for whoever ends up with Jessica. You will see why once her SU is finished.

Well, I'd like to start things out this way while we're waiting for the others. Here's a list of places, and each person will chose which place they want to start from. Only one trainer and one duelist in each place, and as a rule you cannot start your characters in the same area, so everyone is partnered with someone else.

* Foot of Mount Coronet, near Celestic Town - (Crystal Momoyia/Mana)

* Amity Square, Hearthome City - (Max/ Jessica Wheeler)

* Eterna Forest - (Shiba/Robert Kaiba)

* Lake Valor - (Shay Miru/Yanto Ika)

* Outside Snowpoint City - (Trainer/Aiko Moto)

hmm Lake Valor beckons to me, but then again Snowpoint City would be fun :3 Throw a coin and decide between Lake Valor and Snowpoint City, I can't decide >.>

Coin thrown. Heads was Lake Valor, Tails was Snowpoint City. I got Heads :P Lake Valor away!
