Chione frowned. Her long, silver-coloured hair whipped around in the wind. Her blood-red eyes scanned around the area. And her throat thirsted for blood.
You're probably wondering - Why does a Half-Vampire need blood that badly? Well, i'll explain.

There are two types of Half-Vampire - Type A and Type B. Type As are the lucky ones. They have more human blood in them, so they hardly ever need blood. They can go out in sunlight for hours and only get a mild sunburn. They didn't inherit the speed Type Bs have, but they can move around more freely in the sunlight.
Then there's Type B, which is what I am. We're the ones that have more Vampire blood in us. The result? After ten minutes in direct sunlight, we start to smoke, we have an intense thirst for blood, we have incredible reflexes and need to either wear a hoodie with the hood on, or wear a blanket on our heads. And no, we don't sleep in coffins.

I scanned around the area, finally picking up the scent of my prey. I ran, silent as the night, towards the animal. I grabbed it, and bit. I felt the sweet blood pour into my mouth, draining the poor animal of its life in the process.

I stalked back, leaving the animal to die. Because that's the horrible, disgusting creature that I am.

Natural abilities:
Chronokinesis: This ability enables Chione to control time. However, this ability takes a lot of strength and stamina, because if she slows time for too long, she will faint and fall into a short coma until she regains all her strength.
Electrokinesis: Discovered by Chione when she slammed into a power line, Chione has the ability to manipulate electricity as well as time. She can throw about 10,000 volts of electricity into her opponent. However this ability, like Chronokinesis, will cause her to tire immensely.
