Deadly Alliance: Enter Team Darkness [RP]

OoC: Please excuse the following rushed post. I'm behind so I wanted to do a quick post to get my characters back into the story.

Keynoma Momoyia and Megan Lilith
Inside > Outside Momoyia Laboratory

Keynoma and Megan finished discussing and left the room they were in. They thought they had heard something, so they went to investigate. Once they went outside, they saw that something had taken place. When Keynoma saw Blade on the ground, she quickly rushed to his side to make sure he was alright. She knew he needed to get inside so that she could look him over. Not only did she study in Pokemon medicine, she also studied human first aid as well. Meanwhile, Megan looked over the group. She had a good idea what it was that happened, but she didn't show it.

"Can someone fill Keynoma and me in?" she asked politely.

Crystal Momoyia
Inside Momoyia Laboratory

Crystal left the nursery and saw that Surge was in the hallway. He was eerily still, and she wasn't happy about how still he was. The hound's eyes were closed and his body was stiff. Crystal took one step toward the Houndoom, but soon stopped when the dark and fire type Pokemon twitched. His eyes opened and his eyes were completely cobalt blue, no pupil or anything. They were just glowing blue. He then lunged at his trainer and dug his fangs into her arm as she blocked. She didn't try to pull away or get him off, nor did she make a sound. That would only make the situation worse. Persian came up the steps when she sensed something was wrong, and she almost jumped on Surge until Crystal stopped her.

"He's reacting to something, Persian. We both know this. Something with dark aura is near, and that's the only reason he is acting this way. Go see what it is."

The feline Pokemon nodded before she ran down the stairs to find either Keynoma or one of Crystal's friends. Crystal almost groaned when she felt Surge light a small flame in his jaws, but it vanished as soon as it came. She sighed, knowing that Surge would no longer purposely harm her. But she was wondering what it was that had caused this switch in the Houndoom.

Ash Ketchum, Ichiru and Kiseki Kagami, Cassie
Outside Momoyia Lab

"Let's get Blade inside." Jetta spoke in a friendly enough tone, the Aipom on her shoulder nodding in agreement. Ash, Cassie and the twins nodded as well, the latter turning their attention back to Blade.

Approaching footsteps could be heard as Kiseki and Ichiru helped Ieyaso lift Blade off of the ground. The group (meaning Ash, Kiseki, Ichiru, and Cassie) turned their attention to Keynoma and Megan as they approached.

"Can someone fill Keynoma and me in?" Megan asked politely.

As Kiseki and Ichiru began to help Ieyaso carry Blade toward the laboratory, Ash decided to give Megan her answer.

"Keiru appeared again... He tried to attack me, but Blade jumped in the way, which resulted in what you see here." He glanced at Blade then, his gaze narrowing as he thought about what had just happened. "He took Pikachu and Munchy with him, and said that he'd see us in Saffron." He noticed Persian rushing toward them then, worry clear in her eyes. Ash's own expression began to display a bit of concern as he turned toward the feline. "What is it? Did something happen?"

Megan offered to help carry Blade as well. She may be a woman, but she could hold her own. If not then she had a Pokemon that could get the man inside with little effort. Keynoma turned when she saw a blur of tan, and realized it was Persian.

The cat Pokemon looked at Keynoma and then turned to Ash. The feline knew that he was one of Crystal's best friends, so maybe he could help. Besides, Keynoma wouldn't really be of help since Surge easily beat most of her Pokemon. When Crystal and Ash battled, Surge always had to give it 110%, meaning he greatly respected the male trainer. Persian then grabbed ahold of Ash's shirt and gently pulled at it, wanting him to follow her.

"Go inside, Ash, and see what it is Persian wants. We'll handle getting Blade inside," Keynoma said as Megan pulled out a PokeBall.

"Something might be up with Crystal. That's the only reason I can think of for Persian to want someone inside so greatly," Megan said as she released her Alakazam to that he could teleport Blade into a spare room so Keynoma could look over his injuries if the others couldn't carry him.

Crystal Momoyia

Crystal managed to sit on the floor, leaning back against the wall. Surge still had a tight hold on her arm, and when she had moved to sit he only added more pressure. She remembered a time when that strength was around her neck and she had to play dead for him to let go. But that was before he had become her Pokemon. That was when he was still Seth's, when the older trainer was corrupted in wanting nothing but power and pleasure.

I'm sure that whatever made Surge snap back into his old personality is long gone, but it took me a long time to change him the first time. I wonder how long it'll be before he snaps out of this state and goes back to normal, Crystal thought with a sigh, wondering what all was going on elsewhere in and around the home.

Gary Oak / Robert Masters
Inside the lab

"These wounds look bad." Gary spoke as the group had brought Blade inside. Robert came over with a first aid kit.

"I can take care of the injuries." Robert spoke as he began opening the medical kit up and looking through the contents.

Gary headed over to Ash while Robert began treating the wounded. He wasn't there to hear what happened, but he was around to notice Houndoom acting strangely. When Ash asked the Persian what was wrong, Gary was there with the answer. "Crystal's Houndoom attacked her. She's fine, but she mentioned that it's possible something or someone with a powerful dark aura must have been close to cause Houndoom to lose his mentality." Gary commented.

Ash Ketchum, Ichiru and Kiseki Kagami, Cassie

Persian was tugging on Ash's shirt now, trying desperately to try and get him to follow her. As Keynoma stated herself, something had to be up with Crystal for Persian to be acting this way.

"Crystal's Houndoom attacked her. She's fine, but she mentioned that it's possible something or someone with a powerful dark aura must have been close to cause Houndoom to lose his mentality."

Gary answered Ash's question not long after it was asked, bringing his attention back to the older man. He furrowed his brow in confusion. What did that mean? Regardless of the meaning, he didn't have time to wonder about it.

He nodded in response to Gary. "Okay. Thanks for letting me know." He looked back to The twins, Ieyaso and Blade then. "Are you sure you'll be alright? You can get him in safely?"

"Don't worry about it." Kiseki gave Ash a reassuring smile. "He'll be fine; we'll get him inside safely. Go help Crystal."

Ash hesitated for a few moments, then finally nodded, turning and running back to the laboratory. He dashed up the stairs, scanning the hallway. He instantly spotted the purple haired girl and her Houndoom just down the hall. Currently, Crystal was sitting on the floor, leaning against the wall, and Surge had her arm in a tight grip between his jaws.

"Crystal!"

OoC: Fail =3= Figured it would have been stupid in this case to say "Are you okay?" lol.

Ieyaso,Blade&Ashleigh

Blade winced as he was lifted up, and let out a slight laugh. Ieyaso looked at Blade, shaking his head slightly.

"Conserve your strength Blade." Ieyaso stated, and Blade nodded.

Blade's vision blurred, and pain erupted throughout his body, a very faint aura of dark energy erupting from Blade's body, and he let out a small cry of pain.

"What the heck was that?" Ieyaso asked, frowning.

Ashleigh stared at Blade, before rushing to walk with Kiseki, helping take Blade inside.

Harbinger
Saffron City

Harbinger smiled as he felt the dark energy pulsating inside him. He closed his eyes as he breathed in deeply, and laughed. Blade was going to be enjoying these dark powers very soon, and this time, he was not going to betray Harbinger.

Keynoma and Megan stayed back as Robert examined Blade. Keynoma was there to offer any assistance she could give, even if it was to get medical supplies. Megan sighed heavily before she excused herself, saying she had a meeting to go to. The eldest Momoyia sister nodded, wishing the other woman safe travel, having an idea where she was headed.

Crystal Momoyia

Crystal continued to watch as Surge had a tight grip on her left forearm. By now there was a small pool of blood on the carpet, it running down her arm and down the Houndoom's jaws. The bright red was apparent against Crystal's pale skin and Surge's orange jaws. It wasn't until she heard a voice did she look away from the dark and fire type. When she saw Ash, her eyes widened.

"Ash?!" Crystal then looked at Surge, and then back at her friend. "Please don't be mad at him. There's a reason he's acting like this, I'm just not sure why. His grip around my arm has lessened." It was then that she noticed something was... missing. "Where's Pikachu?"

Stephanie Shantez
Viridian City Pokémon Center

Stephanie sat in the Pokémon Center, her team getting healed up from a battle she had earlier that day. She was watching the tv while she had lunch. There was an attack on Saffron City, leaving it into ruins.

"What is this world coming to...?" she wondered aloud, sadness in her voice.

Seth Black
Saffron City Ruins

Seth just arrived at the ruins of Saffron City on top of his Salamance. When he landed, he returned the Dragon-type Pokémon and released his Houndoom. The canine Pokémon was darker than normal and had a horizontal scar over his muzzle. After exploring, Seth found the leader of Team Darkness. He still had no idea of his true identity, but nonetheless he tired to piece it together. He approached the man before he and his Houndoom bowed their heads.

"Sir, is there anything I can do for you?"

The twins looked down at Blade in shock and concern as a faint dark aura erupted around his body and he let out a cry of pain.

"What the heck was that?" Ieyaso spoke the twins' thoughts shortly after. As they put him down on one of the couches, Robert offered to take care of the injuries, and the twins stepped back, watching. On Kiseki's head, Pachirisu seemed unnerved, as though she could sense something that the others couldn't.

Cassie hung back, watching Robert tend to Blade's injuries. She had known Keiru was serious about killing Ash, but what the heck was that? A normal human being couldn't do things like that... and they certainly couldn't destroy an entire city as quickly as he had Saffron. Was there actually something wrong with him?

Ash Ketchum

"Ash?!" Crystal's eyes widened when she saw the young trainer. She looked to Surge, then back to Ash. "Please don't be mad at him. There's a reason he's acting like this, I'm just not sure why. His grip around my arm has lessened."

Ash looked at Surge for several moments, taking note of his eyes - how they were completely blue, and glowing. It was obvious he wasn't himself. Regardless, he still couldn't shake the anger that boiled up - especially after seeing the blood running down Crystal's arm. He dared to get closer, finally speaking, his eyes shifting from Surge to Crystal.

"Gary said something about a dark aura that's making him act weird." He paused for a moment, thinking over what had just happened outside. During the pause, he heard Crystal ask where Pikachu was, and looked down for a few moments before responding. "Keiru appeared again outside and attacked with some sort of dark energy... He was aiming for me, but Blade jumped in the way. While we were distracted with that, he used some weird, purple Pokéballs to capture Pikachu and Munchy..." He thought for a moment, looking back to Crystal. Do you think that's the source of Surge's behavior? The dark energy?"

Harbinger
Saffron City Ruins

Harbinger raised his head to look at the approach of one of his grunts. His eyes stared deeply into the newcomer's eyes, scanning him. Harbinger stared intently, looking deep into the eyes. Harbinger suddenly let out a sigh, his gaze not leaving the grunt.

"Just be ready." Harbinger replied, his gaze still not faltering. "I want you out of sight, and hidden, ready for my signal."

Harbinger's features turned into a frown as he stepped forward, still staring directly into the grunt's eyes.

"You got me? No mistakes." Harbinger frowned. "Or you will end up like this pathetic city."

As if to give meaning to the threat, Harbinger shot a blast of dark energy past the grunt, several trees in the distance dissolving into dark energy, and shooting back into Harbinger's arm. A smile now grew on his face.

Ieyaso,Ashleigh&Blade
Momoyia Labs

Ieyaso moved off to sit on a chair, staring at the wall, thoughts filling his head. He was playing the events that had just unfolded over and over again. Blade had leapt in the way of the dark energy, to protect Ash. Blade did really mean well. Ieyaso smiled softly, his smile disappearing quickly as he gazed back at Blade, sorrow filling his features now at the prone assassin lying on the couch, his features contorted with pain.

Ashleigh had wandered off into the lab, wanting to be alone. She walked through a deserted hallway, before entering an empty room. The cream walls were quite welcoming, and she looked around, smiling when she realised that this wasn't somebody's room and sat on the floor, staring at the glass double doors leading outside, tears pricking her eyes as thoughts of her family now dead filled her. She could not believe it. The tears fell down her cheeks as she continued staring out of the windows, a sigh escaping her mouth, a droplet of a tear falling into her mouth, wincing slightly at the saltiness.

Jetta Argent
Outside Momoyia Lab

Everything was peaceful around. Most of the group had returned inside, taking the injured Blade inside for treatment. Hopefully, those wounds hadn’t gotten infected before they could be tended to. Jetta looked down, the grass was pretty much dry, the effects of that rain shower barely visible. She wished the moisture would have escaped her clothes too, but they were still on the damp side. The cool evening wind made her shiver a little, but once again, her mind was busy on other things to pay this much attention. Besides, after what Blade had taken, a little chill wasn’t bad.

“Now, going to Saffron would be walking right into his hands,” Jay mumbled, giving a small pebble a gentle kick, sending it flying a little. She still wanted to go to zone zero, to investigate, and now, to take that freak down. Her eyes narrowed a little, remembering the strength of the dark blast, no; he wouldn’t be an easy foe. Not one bit. Knowing he was still out there, able to take more lives like he… why had Jetta started called that thing a “he”? It didn’t deserve that…

“Pom,” Viola nodded, although she was smart enough to know that the girl wasn’t yet turned off. She’d gone after Team Rocket without hesitation, without much thought. This the purple monkey knew, she had heard Jay talk about the escapade.

“I think they can take care of Blade, right?” Jetta gazed carefully at the lab, figures could be seen inside. She was considering going to tell them about her choice to go on to Saffron, but hesitated. They hadn’t really approved of the plan before… but that was before Pikachu and Munchy were taken by that thing. They needed rescuing as well, who knew what it could do to them?

Ichiru and Kiseki Kagami, Cassie Evans
Momoyia Lab

The twins looked down at Blade with identical concerned expressions, although Kiseki's attention was diverted to Ashleigh as she headed off deeper into the lab - most likely toward the rooms. At first he looked back to the ground, deciding to leave her alone for now, but as he thought about what had happened, her reaction, and even his own similar experiences, he changed his mind.

With a glance back at Ichiru, he started after Ashleigh, noticing instantly that there were quite a few rooms down this hallway. He noticed one with the door opened slightly, and went for that one first, cautiously peering through the crack. To his relief, he spotted the blonde sitting in the floor, staring out of the windows nearby.

He pushed the door open, stepping inside before speaking softly.

"Hey... Are you okay?"

Back in the living room, Ichiru watched Blade, studying the black aura around him. Had Keiru done more than just injure him?

He looked up at Robert then. "Is he going to be alright?"

Crystal looked over Surge. She again fell him loosen the grip he had on her arm so he was starting to come around. She then turned to Ash and nodded.

"Yeah, I think that's it. I think the dark energy triggered him into remember how he used to behave when he was still with Seth," she said. "But like I said. It's not his fault. Once he comes to I'll just clean and bandage my arm."

Seth Black
Saffron City Ruins

Seth nodded before he and his Houndoom went to hide. He was wondering why the Team Darkness leader was here. Saffron was just in ruins now. Nothing was left. That is unless he was meeting something.

"I don't like the feeling I get when I'm around him, Master," Houndoom barked.

"I know, but we need to keep our cool," Seth explained, not wanting to give too much away. He could not afford for the leader to know of his identity.

Ash nodded slowly, his eyes fixed on Surge. He'd never known the whole truth behind Surge's past, aside from the fact that he'd been Seth's Pokémon before Crystal's. That alone was enough to suggest that he'd had a pretty rough time before he joined Crystal.

"Is there anything I can do to help?"
