You know the Hoenn series? Remember how May had a Munchlax? And how it was Lucario and the mystery of mew, and some sort of Manaphy movie? Well, I just noticed, those are all Sinnoh Pokemon, and they were introduced in Hoenn. I mean, how could this happen? I don't think it happened in Kanto or Johto, did it? No Fifth gen. Pokemon have been seen in DP, have they?

Don't forget that Gary's Electivire debuted in Kanto.
Also Zorua and Zoroark debut in Crown City, located in Sinnoh.

This tradition has been in place for every generation. The reason behind it is most likely because GameFreak wants to give us a preview of what to be expected in the next generation.

I think what he means is the series, not location. Like Kanto=Pokemon, Johto=Johto Journeys, Hoenn=Advanced, and Sinnoh=Diamon and Pearl.

But what is strange is that they haven't introduced a new pokemon in the anime series(not the movie). They have always done that, like togepi, kecleon, and munchlax.(I remember first seeing kecleon and was like "What the f*** is that?!" xD) There is still two more episodes left, but it's still off. Or they could of done it on purpose because Isshu is so far away.

And Diverman is right. I mean the series, not location. I mean, there has always been one in the anime, and sometimes movies. This time, it is only in the Movie. Also one of my points. *Puts mood ring on*

When I first saw Munchlax eating everything, I was also eating something, most likely a cookie. I was like 'wtf stop copying me, stupid fatzo Pokemon thing'
