Default Shiny Showroom [Comments and Critiques welcome!]

~You walk into a room. On all walls there is art of many descriptions; some old and delicate, others fresh and funky. You gaze over to a small selection of art, and atop this selection is a plaque. Engraved on this plaque is the name 'BlueJello'.~

Yeah, I always had a thing for cheesy thread openings. 8)

Welcome to my gallery. I'll be showcasing all of my sprites here. Newer sprites will be shown towards the end, so you can see improvement.

~Fusions~

Uh, congrats? Maybe you should make a gallery and showcase your sprites there, or post it in the stickied showcase.

I think most of your sprites are really good! I would however recommend that you clean up your lines in fusions and make then look not so jagged.

This:

was my favourite one.

For recolours I'd suggest that you learn how to contrast your colours well. You shouldn't use colours clash terribly (one that pops out is the Ambipom. There's also something about how you recoloured the outlines that doesn't seem right. I can't really point it out but I know it's there.

The inverts, disguises, revamped icons and repose are/is all fine. But scratching, remember to keep the body parts proportional. When I scratch whole sprites I always like to draw it out first so I know where everything is going to be and where the shading is.

ehm, that's it i believe. hope to see more of your sprites in the near future. good job. ^^

Thanks for the critique, I appreciate it.

Any comments on these guys? Rather simple, but I like 'em. They're cute. :3

You have no idea how hard I lol'd at the facial expressions on those fusions. xDDD

I think the little puff on the head of the Slakoth/Slowpoke is a bit... oddly placed? Or maybe it's just the way how it looks so scruffy but really, really small. The Vigoroth/Slowbro is good except for the weird shaped skull on the right part of the head. As for the Slaking/Slowking, it's pretty much all perfect but the... neck... piece/scarf/accesorie/etc looks kind of strange.

I think you did a good job on these. I really like your fusions. :'D

Thanks for the crit. ^_^

Have I ironed out the skull problem?

---->

First is before, second one is after.

And on the Slakoth / Slowpoke, are you suggesting I enlarge the tuft of fur?

And on Slo/Sla/king, that scarf-thing is actually meant to show Slaking's white fur around its head, although the angle it's positioned makes it look like a scarf. x3 I like it looking like that, however.

I enjoy evolution fusions. Might whip up a couple of more.
