Re: Rebirth: Legendary War [RP]
"Grey" | Darkrai Transformations: 4
Inside the appropriate base
Eyes glowed a somehow ferocious shade of blue. What hair wasn’t contained in a thick gray ponytail whipped around ferociously, and as the creature raised a hand it was evident to the victim that he had selected the wrong time to refuse access to the female half of the changing rooms. The request had been entirely legitimate – something in there was lost and needed to be found – but for the fact that this thing appeared for all the world to be a boy. The woman merely stared.
And then she crumpled to the ground in a heap, directly in the doorway. The creature looked down at her with an empty expression.
“She snores,” he said.
XD˛ 537 – or ‘Grey’, as he had taken to be called – stepped over the slumbering form and into the girls’ locker room, looking through the startled women in various stages of undress. There were no other charcoal-skinned people here, but it was soon evident what were here didn’t enjoy his presence.
“What?” he barked.
Everyone shuddered and looked away.
Among the human soldiers in the Johto army, these Shadow Legendaries were not welcome allies – they were like nuclear bombs, powerful but very unnerving to be around and decidedly painful to those who got in their way. These monsters just existing was bad enough, but soon the little wretches were released among the soldier populace, to leave destruction and upset soldiers in their wake. Of course, the military saw no problem with this and let them practically run the place.
“You!” snapped the Darkrai, pointing to one of the remaining soldiers with his clawed hand. “Where is Midori?”
“S-she just left.”
Grey cursed profanely and loudly and exited the room, kicking the sleeping soldier in her wake. She would wake up within the hour with a terrible migraine and an aching spine, but that wasn’t his problem; he needed to find the Shadow Celebi now or else his bosses would have a fit. As one of the oldest and highest-seated Shadow Legendaries of the lot, he was of course expected to perform duties that some others weren’t. Such as delivering information from his higher-ups to other Shadows.
He looked around again, and his face contorted.
The same female soldier, a few seconds later and in the middle of a hallway, collapsed on the floor in a truly horrendous nightmare. She was taken to the infirmary and Grey was left alone with whoever else was in the room.
He turned a hallway and stared at the various glowing parts of Midori. “You are needed at the planning meeting!” he snapped, both fists clenching. “We’ve had to postpone it until we found you! That's not going to pass here! Now move!” Taranis Dalca | Zapdos Transformations: 5
In the forest near Pewter
Having made his leave from Mt. Moon and finding himself on the entirely opposite side of where he was intended to go – i.e., the place he left from – Taranis sighed a birdlike sigh and looked around at the forest where he had just been a few weeks ago. Nothing had changed as far as he could tell, not even the scratched or burned foliage that suggested a Trainer had been passing through.
Slipping somehow through the forest on spindly Zapdos legs, Taranis eventually decided that that was a very bad idea and that flying would be a better approach. So with that decided, up high in the air suddenly appeared a spiky form with wings beating just enough to keep itself aloft. Fortunately Zapdos had very good eyesight, so Taranis eventually began soaring around the city, hopefully high enough so that someone would think he was just another Pidgeot or something.
Eventually he thought he caught sight of something blue and pointy; recognizing that blue and pointy something as the wing of another Legendary he had seen so long ago, Taranis dipped a little lower. It would seem that one of the other Legendaries had reached his in-between state, if the patterned face and pointy blue ears were anything to judge by. He didn’t exactly recognize the person he was talking to, but he didn’t seem to be making any attempts to hide his half-formed self and they appeared to be having a generally unhindered discussion, so he assumed that the new girl was one of the Legendaries he had not met.
The Pokémon perched on a skyscraper, becoming one with the most distant of gargoyles, and watched them.
He had been getting a feeling lately, that something vital was going to happen. Of course, it had been pushed to the back of his mind at the beginning, or disregarded as heightened Pokémon instinct; but this feeling was more personal, like it involved him specifically. Which it probably did. But if it would involve him, then chances are it would involve the others, and…
Taranis realized what that would imply.
He glumly reminded himself that he pretty much asked for it anyway, and continued to watch the conversation of the Latios and the other thing. OutOfCtrl;
So if Diego wants to sense Taranis stalking them then he can; this is just a vain attempt to shove him in with people again. >D

Re: Rebirth: Legendary War [RP]
OOC: Yeeeeeah, I'm just gonna do that too... LOOK TARANIS, IT'S YOUR BEST FRIEND FOREVER: VESTA!!! 8D
Vesta
Moltres Transformations: 5
Ilex Forest -> Pewter
Eventually, she had cried herself out and decided that she might as well go and find the others. She had been getting this feeling of insistend pulling for weeks, that seemed to split her in two directions: she guessed towards Zapdos and Articuno. One direction felt... somewhat fresh and cool; she guessed that was Articuno. The other was wild, chaotic and feral. No prizes for working out who that was.
Taranis, huh? What would he be like now after months of being alone again... Vesta had begun to lose hope that she would ever have a familial relationship with that boy... But he had to work in harmony with her and the great Ice Bird, so why not try again. Vesta grinned to herself: no use giving up on the boy; she'd win him over yet!
"Come on, Peach: let's go find my brothers!!" said Vesta, deciding her destination. Her Clefable nodded at her and she was returned to her Pokeball as Vesta stretched out her wings and took to the air.
Flying.
Vesta had always dreamed about it, and now that she could fly all by herself, she had to say that it was one of the best feelings in the world: so free and beautiful... She flew for a while, and almost without knowing where she was going...
By and by, she found herself nearer to Pewter City and ahead of her she saw a spiky-winged shape break out of the forest canopy. She blanched in surprise. Taranis... He really did look... completely wild: his appearence had changed pretty dramatically as opposed to Vesta who only had her large wings to testify her Legendary status: everything else was just as pretty and human as it always was.
She watched as Taranis became a Gargoyle on top of the building. She couldn't help but think it suited him, but she thought she'd better catch him before he ended up flying off again, so she swept down gracefully and landed a respectable distance away from him; clearing her throat to announce her prescence.
"Hello, Taranis" she said in a calm, friendly manner. She hoped that he wouldn't still be holding that hug against her, and she certainly wouldn't repeat that mistake. "What are you doing here?"
Vesta peeked over the side of the building to try and see what he was looking at, twisting her floaty dress in her hands.

Re: Rebirth: Legendary War [RP]
Midori
Celebi Transformations: 3
New Bark Town, Johto
Midori had walked out of the changing room. She just stood in the hallway and looked for a nearby clock to check the time. She remembered the meeting that she had to attend and knew that she was clearly late. She smiled and knew deep down that they wouldn't dare start the meeting without her. She was a key player in this invasion. Heck if it wasn't for her then the Johto army wouldn't even have the guts to attack Kanto.
Midori shrugged and guess she had more then enough time to do whatever she wanted. It wasn't like they were on a timeline or anything. She took a step but then heard something that sounded like an angry rattata.
“You are needed at the planning meeting! We’ve had to postpone it until we found you! That's not going to pass here! Now move!” said the angered voice. Midori slowly turned around and gave the gray haired man a half smile. Though the not smiling part clearly looked rather upset.
"Nice to see that you are in a pleasant mood. Gray." said Midori as she started at Gray. The gray tinted man once had a name like herself but it was shed and replaced with a number. Then hidden behind a so call name to embrace their newly given power. "No need to sound upset. It not like they will do anything without us anyways."
Midori stare at the Shadow induced man that held the power of Darkrai. Funny how the Johto military had two beings that were opposite in power yet have powerful abilities. One of them control the realm of dreams while the other had time under command.
"I don't care about what passes or not. Just lead the way." said Midori as she began to walk in the direction of the meeting. "It is pathetic though how things are. These lower beings won't dare to anything without our power backing them up. The only thing they are good for is getting killed distracting whatever is trying to attack us. Don't you agree?"

Re: Rebirth: Legendary War [RP]
New Bark Town
Professor's Lab
The lab of Professor Elm was under military occupation. The Professor himself sent missing as soon as the boarders opened up. Many presumed he fled to Kanto, though the running story was that he was kidnapped by Kanto. The president's face illuminated the large main screen where the generals had gathered. Once the shadow legends had entered, the meeting would begin.
"We are on the verge of making history my friends. This is but the first step towards uniting all regions under Johto control. With it, we shall put an end to all conflict and assure that criminal organizations never again rise to threaten the people or the world. Long have we been at odds with Kanto, and now is the time to strike. Obviously they will believe that our main point of attack will be Viridian City, and we shall send a token force there to make them believe this is so. We will have Celebi lead the attack there and, if things turn sour, retreat and join the main force. The main force will attack by sea and hit Pallet Town from the southern shore. Darkrai will be giving aid to the forces there. Once we secure Pallet Town, we will send Groudon to bolster the defenses and start causing earthquakes towards Viridian city to crush what resistance is left." the president explained.
"Now, there are a few hitches in this plan that we must prepare for. The first concerns Celebi's forces. The Elite Four and champion have sided with Kanto. Their skill as trainers are top notch, and it has been observed that they have the aid of the Legend Mewtwo, a creation of Team Rocket's and said to be the most powerful. However, the shadow process should give you the edge should you come face to face with him. And that brings us to the next hitch. The legends that escaped our grasp. They will most likely try to interfere. Subdue than and capture them. We need them brought to us alive. It doesn't matter what shape they are in as long as they are still breathing. We shall supply you with Master Balls to use should you encounter them and manage to catch them off-guard. Now, strike hard and strike with precision. Johto prevails!" the president concluded before the screen shut off. Each of the generals walked up to whichever shadow legend they were assigned to fight under. However, each one also had a control device to keep the shadow legends in check.

Jaden Wolfe
Shaymin Transformations: 0
Pewter City
Jaden and Senshi had finally made it to Pewter City. She walked off the boat, Senshi and Mizu following. Jaden turned to Senshi and Mizu, "Thanks for everything." Senshi smiled at her, "It's no problem, Jaden. We were glad to bring you here." Jaden smiled back, "I guess I'll see you later then?"
Jaden walked through the city, wondering around. 'That old man sure was nice. I wonder who he was?'

Re: Rebirth: Legendary War [RP]
Lunar Lana
Giratina Transformations:4
Lavender town--> Pewter city
I looked at the dark ground of the unknown town, the one without a gym, Lavender town. It was one of the darkest towns I knew of, having that strange place that I have never been to probably for only one reason. I hated seeing dead things, even the stones. I kicked at the dirt when anyone tried to talk to me, knowing that I was no longer a 'human', yet a Legendary Pokemorph. I flapped my wings around myself, avoiding the spikes as much as I could. Just looking at myself made me almost cry. I wanted to go back to Snowpoint city, I no longer wanted to be Griatina's successor. Yet, I had to be.
I ran from this town, at some points when no one was looking, I flew away from the others that I knew from Lavender town. the only thing that I knew to do at this point was to run. I didn't want to be with humans. I wanted to be with the Legend humans. She soon got to Pewter city, and decided to rest. I found a shaded spot and let my Dragonair out in case the military came. I soon fell asleep, not knowing I was sleeping on my Salamence.

Seth Micheals and Riika Amano
Number of Entei Transformations: 4
Viridian City, Kanto
"Ugh, I really hate flying." Seth muttered, letting go of Riika's waist and sliding off the back of the Fearow he'd never even known she had.
"Thank you very much, take a nice rest now." She assured the pokemon sweetly, rubbing the Fearow's large head and sliding off as well, then returning it to it's pokeball.
"Better than teleporting, at least you can stand upright without someone having to hold you." She shot back before tossing the pokeball to her brother, Aiden caught it almost instinctively.
"I guess you're right... Now maybe you can guide me to a mirror to see why you're flipping out over my appearance? I'm sure Ericka and Kelly will take their sweet time getting here, it's in your sister's nature to stop and stare at anything she takes an intrest in." He teased, Riika stuck her tongue out at him, but pushed him over to where the Indigo Plateau started to a small pond, and let him lean over it for a look. At first, Seth blinked in surprise, then his fingers touched the new coloration in his hair, frowning.
"See. It's like Arceus said, you're closer to pokemon than human now." Riika commented, bending over the water to look as well.
"Come on, you can make me a pokemon, but I'll always be human at heart." He teased right back, Riika looked a bit skeptical.

Re: Rebirth: Legendary War [RP]
Diego Walker
Latios Transformations: 6
Pewter City, Kanto
“It's great to be here,” Elina told me. “Anything I can do, just ask. I've transformed three times already, so I'm fairly comfortable with my abilities. And, well, I'm ready to change for good. I've been prolonging things long enough. I'm not going to hold on to my humanity if my powers as a Legend are needed.”
“Unfortunately, I have a feeling we’re going to need them very soon… and very often,” I told her as I became more and more aware of what was going on. “The Johto government has seized control of many of the legendaries, and turned all of them into XD-level Shadow Pokémon. I’m not sure how many of them, but it’s a lot. At the same time, the world is in disarray as these legends are needed to keep the foundations balanced, and now there is no one there to do it.”
Still, it was good to know I finally found her. As I looked into Elina’s eyes, I knew she would make a great Latias. She may not have transformed as many times as I had, but I could sense that she had already advanced her transformation quite a bit. As I was quickly discovering, the second half of the journey went by quickly.
Very quickly…
During the conversation, I found it getting harder and harder to even keep this hybrid form that I had taken on. And I knew this would already be the second to last time I would be able to use it. Regardless, I think there was a significant part of me that would be at greater ease if I completed the process and left it at that. There was no reason to hold back what was supposed to come in time anyway.
Unable to keep the form, I had transformed back into Latios beyond my ability to keep the hybrid form intact. Still, it actually felt relieving to be back as Latios now. Not to mention every subsequent transformation unlocked more of Latios’s abilities to me, and I knew the final transformation would finally make me whole.
But in the meantime, I had detected two other presences within Pewter City, likely a result of the psychic powers growing stronger. Their legendary signatures were not very difficult to pick up at all, and I looked up toward the building rooftop where the two of them were.
Moltres and Zapdos. Taranis and Vesta were in the area, but I knew that like me and Elina, they too were rapidly drawing close to the point in time where they would become permanent legendaries. They were settling into their forms pretty well, but still, it was unclear about what was truly going on. They were wondering, and so was I.
I knew Johto was going to attack, but where… and when? Right now, I knew most of their soldiers were being mislead by President Lanlark’s propaganda, a campaign that believed he could control minds as long as he controlled the media. In truth… I began to wonder if I had stumbled across a solution with that thought. Disabling Goldenrod City’s radio tower could stop at least one broadcasting means. Still, how exactly were we going to do it?
But I had to keep that thought aside for now. Defending the borderline was more important right now, and once we proved to Johto that we could mount a strong defense… only then should we make the move to head inward to crush Lanlark’s campaign…
…and hopefully in time… Lanlark himself.

Re: Rebirth: Legendary War [RP]
"Grey" | Darkrai Transformations: 4
Johto base
"Nice to see that you are in a pleasant mood, Grey. It's not like they will do anything without us anyways..."
"Save it," he snapped. "Even if they're not going to do anything concerning the fight, they're going to have a nice little talk with whoever is assumed to be responsible for you. And you know who that is? Me!" He turned around, starting to walk in the direction of the meeting room. "Not to mention the fact that you'll be leading your soldiers into a death trap by not knowing squat about what's going on, and nobody's going to be happy with you for that - and two hundred Poké says they'll have something to say to me for that too! So unless you want to join in on the fun too, you might want to get your glowing wings of peril to the assembly! Now!"
As they walked, Midori made more nice little conversation with the obviously steaming Legendary (she should have been used to that by now). Grey contained his rage at her first comment to a very threatening growl, but her next words actually prompted a response from the irritable Darkrai boy. "Well then," he said, turning back to her with near-murderous intent in his eyes, "you can go prance out into the middle of a fight with millions of pissed-off Trainers and a few Elites for good measure and see how many of your bones don't get smashed!"
Being sufficiently aggravated by the Celebi demon, Grey entered the room just as President I-Forgot-To-Shave-This-Week popped up on the monitor. After listening to his riveting speech Grey was approached by a man in a general's uniform, looking like the straight-laced sort of general that one would expect to find in the military. Next to the easily aggravated half-Legendary next to him, it was a stark and unsettling contrast. Things were not going to go well between these two, it was evident.
"Huh," said Grey noncommittally. Taranis Dalca | Zapdos Transformations: 5
Getting in touch with his inner rock golem, Kanto
From next to him came a rather demanding noise, one of the sort that was liable to make you lose your balance if you were focusing very hard on something else, like Taranis was. Fortunately, he caught himself on the arm of an actual gargoyle, and after a brief scrabbling fit to get himself back in balance, the half-Zapdos looked up at the mysterious presence that had joined him. Of course he had a vague feeling of who it was, but there was a half and half chance of the person being sane or not.
Unmiraculously, it was not.
From a short ways away there was a girl with long red hair, and who looked entirely human save for the giant plumes of fire spouting from her arms. Even with the Moltres wings - especially with the Moltres wings - it was clear to see that the girl who had just happened to find him was his biffle Vesta. He noticed with a small pang of jealousy that she seemed to have crossed into Legend-dom much more gracefully than he. Her hair wasn't even on fire or anything.
"Hi, Taranis," said Vesta pleasantly. "What are you doing here?"
For a second his eyes had widened and he reacted like the startled Stantler that he was, but soon found control of himself and turned his head away from her and down to the other Legendaries-by-association on the street below him. Eventually, he came up with something that could count as an answer, and conveyed it in the standard soft mutter that surfaced as his human speaking voice.
"...'cause I felt I should."
That was apparently response enough in Taranis' twisted view of the social world - at least to Vesta, anyway. At least he didn't bolt in the opposite direction (immediately), so that was an improvement. Evidently their relationship had graduated to, on Taranis' side, conform with the common mantra: "Ignore a problem and it will go away. Ignore a problem and it will go away." On Vesta's side, of course, it was either "MUAHAHAHA" or "I'm gonna be friends with you, bro!", depending on who you asked.
At that point, Latios transformed. This attracted Taranis' attention back to him. Then Latios looked up, having apparently sensed the presence of he and Psycho-Stalker in the area. However, he didn't say a word, instead looking to be in a state of very deep thought. At least someone appeared to know what they were doing, and perhaps that could be a very bad lead - whereas it could also prove to be the only lead they had.
Taranis resettled himself, thinking that Latios might call them out sometime soon.

Re: Rebirth: Legendary War [RP]
Robert Masters
Mewtwo Transformations: 4
Indigo Plateau
I gave a nod to Seth. Not everyone cared for teleportation, though for me it seemed the easiest way to get around long distances. It would take alot more focus to seek out everyone mentally and try to connect to them all mentally. I don't think I'm at that level of skill yet. Combat-wise I feel I'm in top form with room to improve, but mass manipulation and telepathy, still a ways to go.
Instead I returned to Indigo Plataeu. The Johto army would have to cross through Victory Pass in order to get into Kanto lands, or they could fly in with their planes. The sea was another avenue that I could think of. I would have to make sure all of my bases were covered.
I could sense several Legends n the vicinity of Pewter City. Latios was amongst them, along with Zapdos, Moltres and two new ones. One had a mental wave similar to Latios, so I figure that must be Latias. The other one had a grassy feel to the person. Could be Celebi...no, this one doesn't have a psychic feel to them. Possibly Shaymin I concluded. Seth had made it there as well. I guess it was time to give it a try. I reached out with my mind to try and contact those legends in Pewter, hoping I could pinpoint each one and message them all at the same time.
<Mewtwo here. Johto looks about ready to make their move. I figure there's three means they can attack. The first is going through the territory of the Elite 4 and into Viridian. We have the support of the Elite 4 and the champion, so the military will have quite a fight on their hands. However, they may also come in with an aerial attack along the lower parts of the mountain range where the air isn't as strong. There's also the possibility of a sea attack. That would take them to Pallet Town, the closest sea port. Everyone stay ready just in case. I'll remain at the Indigo Plataea to help the Elite 4. I'd like at least one person to head to Pallet Town, just in case.> I spoke telepathically to all of the legends in Pallet town. It was a bit difficult, but fortunately I managed to connect to them.

Re: Rebirth: Legendary War [RP]
OOC: Taranis' little anecdotes are too funny... That guy cracks me up!
Vesta
Moltres Transformations: 5
Pewter City
He didn't run away; well there was an improvement! He was still looking at her with his "Buneary in headlights" expression though, which she found exasperating. Really now, with all the terrors and dangers they were facing, could she really be that scary?!? Surprisingly, she felt he had given a good answer, whether he had meant to or not was another matter:
"...'cause I felt I should..."
Vesta agreed with him, it was the very reason she was there too; and it seemed that Latios and Latias had noticed them too. Moltres threw a soldier-like salute to the two Psychic Legendaries, before glancing back at Taranis.
"Funny..." she said. "I felt I should be here too... But don't you notice something? I... can't feel Articuno's energy anymore; can you?"
It had begun to worry her, and she realised that the worst could have happened. She didn't want to think it, but... Her heart clenched painfully. More legendaries falling to the control of the Johto government? Shadow Legends... shadowy intentions... Everything wrapped in darkness. Vesta shuddered, and then froze as Mewtwo's Psychic broadcast resounded in her head.
She turned to Taranis with an incendiary expression in her eyes, wings sparking embers and the cold stone of the roof starting to scorch under her bare feet. "Taranis!! We should do something!! Shall we go to Pallet Town? We can help keep out the army, can't we?"

Re: Rebirth: Legendary War [RP]
OOC: Did no one else pick up on the fact that Jaden Wolfe got to a land-locked city (Pewter) by boat? XD
James Bevacizumab
Palkia Transformations: 0
Pewter City, Kanto
After being turned down for the third time, James decided to call off the job search for a while and take a break. Apparently there were enough refugees fleeing the regime in Johto to satisfy the city's need for cheap labor for the time being. James supposed it was alright. He didn't think that, once the invasion began, he would need a job that badly. Or would be able to keep one.
So he decided to go for a walk. The forests on the edge of the city were a nice place for a stroll. Unfortunately, they were quite a bit far off. Fortunately, distance wasn't too much of a problem for the human who would become the Legendary of Space.
James found a lonely patch of sidewalk that wasn't too crowded with people and took a deep breath. He closed his eyes, and looked around--not through sight, but through his new, sixth sense. He felt the smooth, silky fabric of space sprawling outwards in every direction: up, down, to the side, behind, forward, everywhere. Three dimensions; the three most people and Pokemon knew. The forests outside of the city were outside of walking distance, yes, but only in three dimensions.
James took a shortcut. He stepped. Not forward, not sideways, not backwards. Instead, he stepped into the lattice of higher dimensions, what he had personally dubbed hyperspace, looking for a shortcut to where he wanted to go.
The experience was quite impossible to describe. How might one inform the blind of sight? As James walked through everywhere and nowhere, he could see everything yet nothing. And walking was such a strange concept in this environment. Where was he walking? There was no forwards, no backwards. Directions were meaningless here; at least, as the human brain understood them. James tried to comprehend what was happening, and failed miserably. Instead, he just led instinct guide him to his destination. He was notoriously bad at trying to end up in an exact location, but fortunately there was nowhere exact he wanted to be.
He stepped through an exit from this hyperspace. Of course, that too, was a misnomer; in hyperspace, every point was an entrance and an exit, so such words were meaningless. And every point led everywhere. Even so, there were still paths through the wilderness of dimensions, just as there are paths in three. One could compare the experience to walking past a two-dimensional wall by hopping over it through the third dimension.
And where James hopped "out" was somewhere above the ground. With nothing beneath his feet but empty air, he promptly fell down, hit a few branches, and landed with a painful thud on some tree roots.
Ow. That was a bad idea... Looking around, it seemed he had gone further into the forest than he had wanted. Oh well. He had went in knowing that his skills at finding the right exit were somewhere between terrible and abysmal. At least he hadn't landed on a person, this time.
Some weird-sounding talking drew James's attention. Making a weak effort to hide behind the tree trunk he had just fallen on, he snuck a quick peek.
From what he could see, there was something blue, gray, and floating between the trees. After a few seconds of wracking his brain, James came up with the ingenious solution of Latios to the riddle.
Hmph. The first Legend I've seen... and he's been transforming quite a bit, I think.
Where there others around? James couldn't tell. Having yet to transform even once, his skills at sensing anything were as poor as any human's. Well, the Latios seemed to have been talking to someone, so James assumed there was someone else about. Could the Latios sense he was a Legend, too?
Well, at least James had finally found another Legend. Yet still, something in him was shy about going out and introducing himself.
(OOC: Sorry to drop in on an already 4-man group, but I couldn't really find anywhere else to insert myself)

Re: Rebirth: Legendary War [RP]
Seth Micheals and Riika Amano
Number of Entei Transformations: 4
Viridian City, Kanto
Riika groaned as Seth relayed Robert's message to her. "Well he could have said something before we got here. And called Ericka and Kelly over here." Riika complained, Johto would really be in deep crap if they attacked her hometown while she was around, or really any of her group was around, for that matter. They would have really been in for it with a sea attack if her cousin was here, Umi had a little Pichu who refused to listen to her by the name of Sensu, who also had a reputation as a walking taser when he didn't like someone. Particularly Umi, even though she was his trainer.
"Give me a sec to try and get a handle on my telepathic abilities and I'll see if he wants us to move." Seth muttered before tapping into the telepathic abilities he knew he had and trying to contact Robert. /Riika's complaining that you could have asked us, Pallet's her hometown, and I've spent a good bit of time there, you want us to go? We have several people back there that would be willing to fight, if you don't, and we can pass on names./ Seth offered while Riika looked around, waving her brother over to join them. "Just sent him a message telling him we'd be willing, all we need to do is wait for a response." He told her.

Re: Rebirth: Legendary War [RP]
Elina Cassopher
Latias Transformations: 3
Pewter City, Kanto
Latios revealed more to her than she thought possible. Shadow legends? Had the Johto military really sunk so low as to pervert the Legends that keep the world in check? And to think, that was what they were to be facing...
Legendary versus Legendary. It didn't seem possible. And yet, hearing it from him, she had to believe it. No matter how much she didn't want to.
She was a little surprised when he then transformed into Latios, but only a little. After all, he was past the point of no return. For him, holding his form as Latios was much easier than holding his human form, even though it was now only partially human. Soon, she would be that way as well, until transforming into a human was impossible. Or, at least, becoming human in the way she was used to.
"Surely there must be some way to change them back?" She said, bringing herself back to the problem at hand. "We have to find a way. Otherwise, the world will crumble." And before they could do that, they had to defeat Johto. It all came back to that idiotic president and his idiotic ideas.
Then, suddenly, she felt a voice reverberating in her mind. It was authoritative, and not very familiar, but he told her himself who he was, so she supposed it didn't make much difference. Of course, she knew none of the other Legends yet, but she would have to start meeting them, as much as she hated to admit it to herself. She would have to meet and learn to get along with new people. The idea made her loath to get involved, and it was one of the reasons she had stayed silently on her own for so long, but she didn't have the luxury to be that way any longer. She would have to get to know other people and get along with them. Or try, anyway.
"Where do you think we should go?" She asked Latios. "It seems to me that we'd probably be best off sticking together. Latios and Latias were traditionally a team. But you know more about the situation than I do." She left the decision up to him. She trusted his judgment, and that they wouldn't lead her astray. After she had said that, however, she noticed an odd chattering in the back of her mind. She was picking up thoughts again, on accident, it seemed. Something was different about these, though. They were close enough that she could sense them acutely, and they felt oddly like lightning and fire. She looked absently in their direction to find herself gazing at two semi-human beings on the ledge of a building. On was a boy that looked like he was caught halfway between a transformation into Zapdos, while the girl looked something like a fiery angel with her Moltres wings.
So these two were Zapdos and Moltres? The boy looked a bit wild, and the girl seemed almost too angelic, with the wings and her long white dress. Still, she supposed they looked alright. She would save her true judgment of their character upon actually meeting them.
(No, I didn't notice. x.x But I'll go ahead and let Diego notice James.)

Re: Rebirth: Legendary War [RP]
Midori
Celebi Transformations: 3
New Bark Town, Johto
"Save it. Even if they're not going to do anything concerning the fight, they're going to have a nice little talk with whoever is assumed to be responsible for you. And you know who that is? Me!" said Gray in an angry tone. Midori just walked along listening to the angry growls of the Legendary. Now!"
Still then it seems like something Midori had said made Gray snap. She smiled a little bit on the inside knowing that once again she got under the cold hearted Shadow Legendary skin. She knows that Gray had more experience then her with these pathetic military men but not as if it makes him better then her. If anything the guy acts as if he was in charge and was going for a higher rank.
She found it silly the goals that the government was going for. Instead of trying to control people, they should focus their visions elsewhere as in controlling nature. Still not her concern. They are lower beings with no sense of anything.
"Well then, you can go prance out into the middle of a fight with millions of pissed-off Trainers and a few Elites for good measure and see how many of your bones don't get smashed!" said Gray with a look that would draw fear in the eyes of normal people. Midori just stood there and sighed after he turned around and went into the next room.
"Aww...he cares about me," said Midori as she walks in and followed Gray in a tone that sounded sarcastic.
Midori shook her head and just walked after Gray and stood behind Gray. It is always better to stick with people that are worth being around thought Midori. What is the point with being around those that are sick and hurt if they will keep being that after helping them. Sickening. Though Midori pay attention as the lowly president of Johto seem to appear on the monitor.
Midori listen and it seems like they want her to go into the most dangerous part of the battle. She admit that it was cleaver for the old diluted fool and clearly her forces will be torn apart. Viridian was where everybody was going to be focused. All the goody Kanto military men and their little gathering of Legendaries. Clearly the man picked the right Shadow Legendary since it shouldn't be too hard for Midori to escape when things get hot. The military forces she didn't care about. They could die for all she cares since her forces were just there to distract the people from the main show.
"What do you know. You were right Gray," said Midori loud enough for only Gray to hear her. "I am going to lead my men into a death trap. At least I know about it ahead of time."
Though she enjoyed this plan. THis was going to be very interesting.
