Keiru had fallen to the floor from the punch, and then he heard a commotion, and felt a pain on the back of his head, opening his eyes, he saw several figures standing over him. He winced at the mention of the nurse.

"No, no. I am quite alright." Keiru responded. "They attacked me because I am a rich kid... typical bullies."

Keiru struggled to his feet, patting himself down, and looking at the others standing around him.

"I don't need to see the nurse. I shall be fine." Keiru stated. "I am sorry, I haven't introduced myself. I am Keiru. What are your names?"

Christopher "Chuck" Norris
Martial Arts Teacher
School.

Christopher glanced at the clock, a small sigh escaping him. His day was ending in approximately five minutes. He stepped forward, grabbing his bag, and placing his cowboy hat back on his head, and left the Martial Arts classroom, and began walking down the deserted hallway, heading to his car outside, a slight limp in his step every time he put weight on his left leg.

"No, no. I am quite alright." Kiseki and Ichiru looked back to the boy as he responded. "They attacked me because I am a rich kid... typical bullies."

Ichiru scowled as Kiseki's eyes narrowed, but neither said anything as the boy stood, patting himself down.

"I don't need the nurse. I shall be fine." He looked at the group around him. ""I am sorry, I haven't introduced myself. I am Keiru. What are your names?"

"I'm Kiseki." The younger twin rose slowly, wincing slightly at the pain in his stomach from the movement. He quickly recovered, putting on a smile for Keiru, then looked at Ichiru. "...and this is my brother, Ichiru."

The elder twin nodded in response to Kiseki's introduction, although his expression shifted to one of slight concern as he looked at Keiru. "Are you sure you don't need to go to the nurse? You could at least rest there."

"You shouldn't be walking around too much after a head injury like that." Kiseki added, his smile fading into worry.

Keiru shook his head as the two twins introduced themselves, and he breathed out a soft sigh as he flexed his arms, trying to get the blood pumping back through them, and to rid himself of the pins and needles now erupting in his arms.

"No I shall definitely be fine." Keiru responded. "So, what lessons you guys got next? I can't for the life of me remember who I've got... Today is my first day here..."

Keiru's eyes scanned the hallway, slight paranoia slipping into his mind as he thought over what might happen.

"Plus, I don't really have any friends here, besides somebody called Stefan." Keiru sighed. "Can I hang with you guys?"

Keiru shook his head, sighing softly as he flexed his arms, most likely trying to get his blood pumping again.

"No I shall definately be fine." He responded, to which the twins frowned, not quite convinced yet. However, Keiru went on to speak more. "So, what lessons you guys got next? I can't for the life of me remember who I've got... Today is my first day here..." He paused to look around before continuing. "Plus, I don't really have any friends here, besides somebody called Stefan. Can I hang with you guys?"

"Sure you can." Kiseki responded quickly with a smile - a real one this time as his brother nodded. "We know someone named Stefan; we just met him yesterday." He paused for a moment. "As for classes... we have Art right now, and after that is...algebra for me." He looked at Ichiru then. "Ichiru has biology, but I'm not sure about everyone else."

"Algebra? I like Algebra." Keiru smiled. "Stefan packs quite a punch on him... He punched a footballer because he said something about Stefan's friend..."

Keiru didn't say any more, glancing for a moment at Ashley, before looking back at Kiseki.

"So, can I accompany you guys to your art class then?" Keiru asked, smiling at Kiseki.

Christopher pulled the car out of the parking lot, and headed onto the road, heading back to his house. It was a nice fifteen minute drive away, or a fifty minute walk, and he just couldn't be bothered to walk in, though he should probably start walking to the school from now on. The scenery passed by quite quickly, and Christopher ignored it, focusing on the road. Thoughts went back to the dream, and the injuries he had received from it. It was very freaky, and he was worried about what had happened in the dream, as he had received actual injuries from some frigging dream.

"That makes one of us..." Kiseki frowned briefly. "I hate algebra; it's hard!"

"That's because you have the attention span of a squirrel."

Kiseki stuck his tongue out at his brother, but quickly straightened up as Keiru mentioned Stefan punching someone out for saying something about one of his friends, notcing him glance at Ashley.

"So, I can accompany you guys to your art class then?" Keiru looked back at Kiseki, speaking once more. He smiled, trying to remove the traces of worry from his expression.

"Sure...is it in your schedule? I mean, none of us would mind, but we don't want you to get into trouble, either."

"Honestly, I don't know." Keiru chuckled. "I was never given a schedule..."

Keiru frowned now as he patted his clothes down as if he were searching for something, then shrugged, shaking his head.

"Nope, was never given a schedule." Keiru frowned. "And heck, I don't really care if I got in trouble either. I'd rather choose what I do rather than be told what to do."

Christopher pulled up to his house and turned the ignition off, and got out of the car, closing the door behind him, and sighed as he walked towards his house, and opened the door, closing it swiftly behind him.

"I'm Kiseki." Ashley watched as the younger twin stood slowly up to his feet. She noticed though that as he moved his body, Kiseki winced a little bit. Ashley was sure to bring it up later. "...and this is my brother, Ichiru."

"My name is Ashley, and this is my younger brother Jeremy." Ashley responded. The fall she did before to act as a shield had actually caused her arm to pierce in pain, but she did her best to ignore it.

"Are you sure you don't need to go to the nurse? You could at least rest there." Ichiru asked.

"You shouldn't be walking around too much after a head injury like that." Kiseki added. At those words Jeremy glanced over at his sister due to the memory when she got punched in the back of her head. Even though she didn't show it much, Ashley felt dizzy and her vision began to blur in and out.

"Thank God." Jeremy smirked.

"I don't see why not." Ashley said. Ashley and Jeremy laughed at the squirrel comment as footsteps could be heard. Ashley turned her head and saw Stefan walking towards them.

"Hey Stefan. What are you doing here?"

"Just felt like wal...what happened?" Stefan asked in shock as he looked over at Keiru.

"Some football players beat up Keiru. Ashley got punched in the back of the head by one of them. I swear I'm gonna kill them." Ashley then quickly looked over at Jeremy.

"Look I'm fine. Stefan, can I talk to you for a minute?" Ashley asked.

"Yeah sure." Ashley walked over to Stefan with her injured arm up to her stomach and walked away from the group.

"Stefan...did you punch someone?" Ashley asked. There was a pause as Stefan looked down, just shaking his head up and down slowly. "What happened?"

"This football player named Kevin was saying things about you that I didn't like."

"Wait, like making fun of me?"

"No, not at all." Stefan looked up and met her eyes as the two of them stared at each other for a few seconds. A few moments later Ashley sighed as she figured out what he was talking about.

"Let's just keep it between us. We don't need to get the boys into any rage." Ashley said. Stefan nodded and looked up at the group. They walked over to the group together and waited to see what everyone was going to do at this point.

Ichiru smirked in response to Keiru's last statement, giving a small chuckle. "I like that attitude."

"You'd be one to actually skip school, Ichiru..."

"So?"

Footsteps silenced the twins then, and they turned to see Stefan approaching the group.

"Hey Stefan. What are you doing here?" Ashley asked.

"Just felt like wal...what happened?" It was obvious Stefan was looking at Keiru when he asked his question.

"Some football players beat up Keiru. Ashley got punched in the back of the head by one of them. I swear I'm gonna kill them." Jeremy was the one to respond. Ichiru turned sharply, looking at Jeremy in question.

"What?"

Kiseki could sense the anger rising up in his brother, which put a concerned expression back on his face as he looked over at Jeremy.

"Look I'm fine." Ashley said, bringing the twins' attention back to her. She looked at Stefan then. "Stefan, can I talk to you for a minute?"

"What did you say happened to Ashley?" Kiseki asked Jeremy before Ichiru had the chance. "One of the football players actually punched her?"

School

Lani stood in front of the mirror, gazing absentmindedly at her own reflection. Her eyes seemed tired, the few recent nights of sleep not enough to alter the work of many more restless occurrences. Today, she’d chosen to wear a forest green sweater, which reached below her waist and left no trace of her teal shirt. Typical blue jeans, leaning on the looser side, had been the dark blonde’s choice of pants for today, which was common for her. Of course, to her clothing choices of the day, the girl paid no attention, but rather, to the dance. Lani’s cheeks were still a little pink from Kiseki’s asking her, which still hadn’t completely sunk in. Not that this kept her from smiling about it though…

She was also a bit oblivious to the amount of time spent in the washroom. Lani had broken away and headed to the lavatory not long after those noises, which Kiseki had gone to check out. She had thoughtlessly started reading some of the graffiti written on the stall walls, and was only the sound of another student coming in and then leaving that had snapped her back to reality.

"One of the football players actually punched her?" Kiseki’s voice was the first thing that hit her ears as she exited the washroom. She blinked slowly, had the girl heard him right?! Ashley… punched by a football player!

“How… what’” she called, stunned.

00C: Having her go to the washroom was the only way I could explain Lani being so… absent from everything. Oh, and this uber lateness is brought to y’all by… project gone WAY overtime this weekend… sorry about all this late guys ^^'

"What did you say happened to Ashley?" Kiseki asked Jeremy before Ashley and Stefan returned to the group. "One of the football players actually punched her?" Jeremy glanced over at Ichiru and saw the anger building up in him. He had never seen Ichiru this angry before since knowing the twins. Even though the anger wasn't towards Jeremy at all, he quickly looked down and brought up his eyes to Kiseki. Jeremy kept his eyes there the whole time as he spoke.

"Yeah, that's why I went sprinting down the hallway. She acted like a shield over Keiru so he wouldn't get punched again. I know that the football player didn't mean to do it since him and his friend ran away after doing so, but still."

“How… what?” Jeremy turned his head and saw Lani standing there.

"She's okay Lani." Jeremy gave a reassuring nod and looked back over to Kiseki, but didn't say anything. With a deep breath, Jeremy turned over to Ichiru nervously. "Are you alright Ichiru?" Jeremy asked.

It made things a little better knowing that they hadn't really meant to do it, but still...

"How... what?" Kiseki turned simultaneously with Jeremy to see Lani just joining the group. Now that he thought about it, Lani hadn't been with him when he and Ichiru had come to check on the others. He felt bad for not noticing sooner, but at least she was okay - and with them.

"She's okay Lani." Jeremy reassured her, looking back to Kiseki for a few moments before he turned to Ichiru nervously after a deep breath. "Are you alright Ichiru?"

Kiseki turned to look at his brother as well, carefully reading the expression on his face. Thankfully, he wasn't as angry as he could possibly be, but it was still clear that he was pretty mad.

"Ichiru...?"

The elder twin looked up, having been glaring at the floor, and gave the two a nod, averting his gaze a few moments later. "Yeah, I'm fine..."

Kiseki could tell that his brother was far from fine yet, but didn't push it. Things didn't seem to be going so well today... he'd gotten hurt in one of his dreams, Ashley had almost gotten hurt in hers, Keiru had gotten beaten up, and then Ashley was punched in the back of the head. Not the best morning.

As he placed a hand on Ichiru's shoulder somewhat nervously, he hprayed silently that the rest of the day would brighten..or at least go smoother...

OOC: Kei is sick with a bad cold so she asked me to bunny her characters. Though she was up half the night writing down good plots for the fells church rp in her notebook when i told her to get some rest XD

IC: As Stefan and Ashley were returning to the group, they heard a familiar voice.

"How... what?" Lani had asked, referring to what had happened to Ashley.

"She's okay Lani." Jeremy reassured her. Stefan gave a nod and looked over at everyone. "Are you alright Ichiru?" Stefan then turned his head over to Ichiru from Jeremy's question. At first Ichiru didn't say anything as he kept his head down to the ground.

"Ichiru?" Ashley and Kiseki both asked at the same exact time.

"Yeah, I'm fine..." Ichiru responded as he finally lifted up his head. Stefan, Ashley and Jeremy could tell that Ichiru wasn't fine, but they didn't say anything. Ashley slowly took a few steps over to Ichiru.

"Hey, it's okay. Everything is going to be okay." Ashley said as she put her hand up on his should as well like Kiseki had. She opened her arms and held Ichiru for a while as her strawberry shampoo could be smelled in the air. Stefan could tell that Ashley was a very caring person.

"Shouldn't you kids be in class?" A female voice was heard from down the hallway. Ashley broke her hold of Ichiru and turned around to see a teacher standing there.

"Ah yeah, sorry. We'll start going." Stefan said as he turned around to look at everyone. "I gotta start heading back over to the library. I'll see you guys later." Stefan said as he walked away. Ashley and Jeremy looked at the remaining of the group and nodded their heads.

"Let's start going." Jeremy said as he turned around and started walking. Ashley turned her gaze back to Ichiru with a smile, then followed her brother slowly so Lani, Keiru, Kiseki and Ichiru could walk with her.

"She's okay Lani." Jeremy reassured, and to this, Stefan nodded. It didn’t really explain much, but it was great that Ashley wasn’t badly hurt.

"Are you alright Ichiru?" Jeremy spoke again, this time addressing Ichiru, and Lani instinctively turned her attention over to him. Now that she got a good glimpse of him, she could tell that he was at least a little angry. The blonde silently assumed it was about what had happened to Ashley, but was still a little shocked; another emotion not had the time to register.

“Ichiru?” Kiseki and Ashley both said his name at the exact same time, but Lani quietly waited the reply.

"Yeah, I'm fine..." he replied, taking his eyes off the floor, where their gaze had rested previously. He didn’t sound quiet that way, but pushing it at this point probably wasn’t the best of ideas…

"Hey, it's okay. Everything is going to be okay." Ashley reassured, putting her hand on his other shoulder, almost mirroring Kiseki’s gesture. However, unlike him, she also toke hold of Ichiru, and this lasted a little while. Everything seemed to quiet down then, nobody really saying anything as a few more minutes flew by…

"Shouldn't you kids be in class?" a feminine voice echoed down the hall, and it was obvious that it wasn’t another student speaking. This was confirmed when Lani turned around, to see which teacher it was that had spoken, since the accent didn’t seem familiar. The woman actually looked a little familiar… had she been a sub in her Bio class a few weeks ago?

"Ah yeah, sorry. We'll start going." Stefan replied before turning back to the group. "I gotta start heading back over to the library. I'll see you guys later." He added, walking away. To this, Ashley and her brother nodded in agreement.

"Let's start going." Jeremy stated, turning around and walking off. Lani looked back, for no reason really, only to notice a new face. This boy was clothed a little more formally then most students, and looked a little beaten up. What happened to him?

“Are… you okay?” she asked, just wanting to be sure…

Keiru was deep in thought over what had recently happened, taking it all in. He was brought out of his thoughts when a girl asked him how he was, and he turned to look at her, offering a smile.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Keiru smiled. "Thanks for asking."

Keiru glanced down the hallway, swearing he saw a figure at the end for a moment, his eyes widening in fear as he recognised the figure from his nightmares, and took a step back in fear, before the figure disappeared in a split second, and he blinked his eyes from the shock of seeing the figure, remembering so clearly the nightmares he had been having, his mind drifting from his surroundings as the memories of his nightmare flooded back to him, and his eyes flitted, nearly closing, as if he were falling into his nightmare, before his eyes snapped open, and he felt a shudder go up his spine. He hadn't had a nice, peaceful night in ages, the nights now filled with nightmares that seemed so real.

Christopher poured himself what was probably his thirteenth cup of coffee, definitely an unlucky number, as he gulped it down to stem the feeling of tiredness. He definitely didn't want to be going to sleep anytime soon. He placed the cup of coffee on the counter, and sat down in a chair. Within moments he had fallen asleep, into his nightmare. Moments later, his eyes snapped open as he fell backwards in his chair, his leg connecting with the table. He landed with a thud, and then felt something slam down on his left leg, and he rose his head to see the table on top of his leg. He grunted as he pushed the table off his leg, and tried to stand up, intense pain ripping through him.

Christopher struggled to stand, grabbing onto the nearby counter for leverage, and grabbed the phone, dialing the emergency line.

"Hello, what is your emergency?" a voice answered.

"I think I broke my leg." Christopher responded.

"What is your address, sir?" the voice asked.

"46th Verdian Street." Christopher answered.

"An ambulance will be there shortly." the voice finished.

The person on the line hung up, and Christopher placed the phone back on the counter. Within minutes, there was a knock at the door.

"Come in!" Christopher called.

The door was opened, and several men wearing the traditional emergency medic gear came in, wheeling in a stretcher, and helped Christopher onto the stretcher, before dragging him out of his house, and into the back of the ambulance. One of the men leaned towards him, holding a mask to knock him out. He struggled in the stretcher, until the mask was put over him, sending him into his unending nightmare until he would awake, several hours later, after a long intense time in the doom of the nightmare.
