I'm pretty sure he did it on purpose, so that's why I didn't say anything.

Um. You still didn't really change anything. I know she refuses to attack while invisible; I want her to be UNABLE to attack while invisible. But that's not even big deal, really. You didn't make the other changes I asked for.

And yes, you need to post again telling me after you make the changes.

Found the problem, it didn't save properly thats why it didn't seem different (i did it in two edits, the first saved, the second didn't)

And yes, I know the blade breaker acts similarly to hooked grip but it will be different and have a different purpose (if thats okay with you, otherwise it'll just be hooked grip). Clair prefers to keep her distance and removing the opponents close combat weapons helps to do this.

Two years ago she was accepted into the Shizen no Senshi. She proved her worth to them during the Battle at Olson Plaza where she destroyed over 50 Automatons. The explosions from her spells were also responsible for the deaths of 5 bystanders, not that she cared. Her illusion also proved useful as many of the automatons fought with imaginary opponents at various times during the battle, enough to overcome th Samurai's initial numerical disadvantage.
that is def not with a single spell. given that the battle went for ten days, thats only 5 per day.

Sorry it took so long. I always go overboard, and I had a hard time putting my ideas to word since I haven't wrote anything in a long time. x3

Name: Rena (MEANING REBIRTH 8D) [No last name]
(That’s what she goes by, she chose that name. Her given name was Maya Witticker, but that name has been long forgotten)
Age: Late teens early twenties (she stopped counting after she turned 16)

Team: ADD

Gender: Female

Theme: Samurai

Appearance:
Spoiler:

Not very good BUT THAT'S THE GENERAL IDEA

‘Pretty’ is not a word people often used to describe Rena. Dark, brooding, scarred, or bitter, maybe, but certainly not ‘pretty’. At one point, perhaps, that adjective could have been applied to her. She was born with skin as pale as moonlight and bright, dazzlingly emerald eyes that seemed to act as windows to her very soul. However, now, those windows show nothing more than hate and despair.

A mismatch of human and robotic parts, the six foot three inch tall woman is an odd sight to see walking casually down the streets. Her gait is often slouched to the right, the weight of her mechanic limbs tugging at her thin, lean frame. Her human limbs are long and lanky, seemingly lacking any substantial fat or muscle. But upon further inspection her catlike build and sinewy muscles give away the obvious speed and grace her body can achieve with minimal effort. Her brute strength is attributed to her right arm, nothing more than an iron skeleton of the limb that had previous resided there. Like her arm, the upper thigh of her right leg is also replaced with a metallic structure resembling a human femur and knee cap. Spider webbing from these mechanical limbs are a vast array of scars. Scorched red burns that radiate from her right collar bone, across her back and stomach and finally stopping where her legs connect with her hip.

Equally, her face was not spared in her accident. The right half of her face is covered in the same spider webbed burn marks, the scars stopping just before they crest her nose. Her right eye was not spared, however. It was replaced with mechanical lenses, the irises a deep crimson. Despite the extent of the damage to her body, her hair soon grew back, and now flows to the small of her back in silky waves of chocolate brown, framing her face with a jagged fringe.

Rena puts little effort in her appearance, and who could blame her, all people would ever see was the scars across her face or the metallic shine of her spidery, robotic limbs. Simple, comfortable clothing is all that matters to her. When wandering around in the general public she tends to mask her more undesirable traits for the sake of her sanity. Clothing herself in a long sleeved shirts and pants, but when in battle, or in if it fits her mood, she has no qualms in revealing her robotic appendages and blemished skin.

Personality:
Rena’s personality is very complex and confusing. A few seconds with her and even the most weathered and experienced psychologist would have troubles decoding her. She is known to some to be brutally outspoken, vicious when it comes to shooting down other’s opinions, while to others she is soft spoken, but her few calm words are uttered with such venom they could burn a hole straight to the center of the earth. However, all her confusing emotions, desires, thoughts and attributes come from two very simple sources; instinct and trust.

This robotic-woman is a very instinctual person. She relies on the primal, animalistic instincts she feels deep in her brain, rather than worrying about the coherent and conscious doubts and arguments that bubble up in the frontal lobe of any normal human. She believes in an honor code, however hard that may be to believe based on her mercilessness in battle and her obvious blood lust. What she believes is right to her is what she abides by, whether the entire world thinks it is wrong. Her will can be unshakable. However, recently she has become a bit confused, and this is a problem.

A person based entirely on a single honor code is at risk, for if this code or basic principal is broken their entire identity becomes lost to them. And this what Rena suffers from. She as it as loss as to who she is, and now she is constantly searching. And while deep down she is searching for who she truly is, on the outside she can come off arrogant, cocky, hot headed yet surprisingly intelligent, ruthless and, to be a blatantly obvious, a bit of a b*tch.

(I MADE MY CHARACTERS PERSONALITY FAR TOO CONFUSING FOR EVEN ME TO UNDERSTAND AAAAAAH)

History:

Rena was born into a small, average, normal family. Her father was a business man and her mother was a house wife. Everyday she’d come home to her mother leaning over the stove, preparing for dinner and would then eagerly await the return of her father and then they’d all sit around the dinner table and share their day over a warm meal. But despite this, there was something odd with the young girl.

From the age of five Rena, who at the time went by her given name Maya, was utterly obsessed with violence and strength. She’d come home from daycare with scratches, mottled purple bruises and smoky black eyes, claiming that she’d simply fallen down. But the school soon informed her parents that she was constantly getting into fights with other children, usually claiming that her victims were “evil”. Her parents didn’t think much of it, simply attributing it to the fact she was an only child and wasn’t used to sharing and spending time with others from her age and scolded her aptly for her crimes. Had they investigated further they would have found that all of Rena’s victims had wronged another child someway, and Rena was just trying to play hero.

It was this that led her to start her Samurai training at such a young age. A master of the art happened upon her one day, threatening to push a kid in a river for tormenting a starving street cat. He calmly watched as the girl thrust the younger boy into the river, watching him for several seconds before fishing him out and sending him on his way with a wary glare and an acidic warning. Her honor system intrigued him, she had formulated for herself a basic map of good and evil and aligned herself with the good in a rather unorthodox way. And with this fact in mind he took her under his wing and began training her.

Rena rose to her master’s expectations easily, despite her alarmingly young age. She took his basic trainings and adapted them to her own style. The old samurai couldn’t help but respect her intensity and personality in training, even if both were a bit strange. She was very violent, and often her strikes were merciless and gut wrenching. She was filled with such rage when she fought that the master finally had to send her into seclusion in the Hibogan Woods to ease her fiery spirit. She spent a total of three months there, trying her best to put her restless and ruthless thoughts behind her. But the budding swordsman couldn’t bring herself to ignore her gut instincts, the primal feelings which she thought brought her closer to nature, not further. It was an entirely different outlook than the peaceful, serene connection her master had in mind.

She wasted none of her time meditating, instead choosing to wander the forest, taking in the laws of the jungle with dazzling emerald eyes. From here her sense of good and evil fed and molded itself like a starving animal. In the jungle, if one stepped out of place then they were struck down, with no hint of remorse. Rena mentally adapted her code of honor to this without even realizing it, feeding off the natural instincts of the creatures around her.

Then on a sunny morning, where the sun’s rays beamed through the leafy foliage like streaks of gold, the six year old girl stumbled upon an odd sight. There was a young Ponyta, laying beaten and broken along the river side. A hot-red gash tore through its white pelt, staining the pure white silk with a gory crimson. The laws of the jungle said that this creature was weak, and therefore natural selection had taken its course and ruled it out, but something sparked deep within her chest, forcing her to venture forward to the young foal and heal its wounds. After she had finished healing it with her crude knowledge of herbs and balms she sent it on its way, but the determined steed refused to budge from her side. Weary, the lanky girl gave in and let the small, weak creature shadow her around the forest and for the rest of her life.

With her reclusion over, Rena continued her training and surpassed her master before her tenth birthday. It was at this time that her parents sought an intervention. To them, they were loosing their precious child to her sword and nature, and they would have none of that. They tried to stop her one day as she ventured out, her sword in tow and Aidan, her Rapidash partner, at her side. When she set foot on the dirty road that day, she would never tread it again, for this was when her life took a sour turn.

Her master brought her, along with a group of other Samurai, to the outskirts of the city Richard, where they took the final step in their training. Her master assured her that stealing the soul from the Ardors was justified, as the robots were not of nature, but of a manmade kin. Rena accepted it wholly, not even hesitating to plunge her sword through one of the smaller robots and rip the soul straight from its chest. She marveled at her new power. She controlled flames with her sword, bent them to her will. Soon her destructive power grew, and she traveled around with her master and a few others bringing ‘justice’ wherever she could.

But one day she realized something. The secret behind her power was the life of another, she had killed someone out of purely selfish reasons, not for the greater good. Her code, the concept of good and evil she had lived by for so long was crushed and her mind was sent reeling. Was she the good guy or was she evil? Was every seemingly selfless act she committed the work of the devil? Was there even such thing as ’good’ in this world? These thoughts enveloped her for months. She refused to speak, refused to even look at her master, until one day she snapped and her sent a searing hot blade through his chest, screaming that he had done this to her. When her blood lust faded and she looked upon the man she had come to think of as a second father bloodied and burned by her hand, her mental state fracture further. She conjured up an immense fire with all her energy, torching the small cottage they had inhabited. And with detachment she sat amidst roaring flames, letting their wicked fingers dance across her pale skin, marring her moonlight-flesh. Her tears turned to sooty water, mixing with the smoky air, but still she sat there, staring at what she had done. She didn’t know how long she sat in that fire, but soon she felt a nipping at the back of her neck. Aidan gripped at the collar of her shirt, trying to pull her from the ravenous flames that ate away at her. She clawed at him, trying to push him away. The seemingly witless 16 year old girl refused to leave her murderer master alone in the fire. She figured she could repay for what she had done by suffering.

Somehow, Aidan managed to pull her from the fire and nurse her in the forest until she finally awoke from her slumber. When she opened her eyes she found only one of them obeyed her, the other was covered in a film of scar tissue. Only her left arm worked, the right one burned beyond repair, and she couldn’t bring herself to a standing position. Rena found help in a kindly Ardor who specialized in attacking the limbs onto the soulless robots in the factory. He took pity on the confused girl, and took her in as a ‘patient’. He removed her right arm and thigh, replacing them with iron-skeletons.

The transition was hard for Rena. The group she had been traveling with shunned her, both for murdering her master and for the abomination of metal and scars she had become. She turned to violence again, it had been the only thing that ever made sense. She had to retrain herself in the ways of the Samurai, for her metallic limb was not dexterous enough to wield a sword. During her new reclusion she thought much of ending herself again, it made sense. But she couldn’t bring herself to do it, not when Aidan had risked himself to pull her from the fire, even after all he had seen her do. She mused, perhaps, that he saw the good in her, even if she had yet to find it, and so she decided to search for it.

She gave herself a new name; Rena, meaning ‘reborn’, and after she finished training herself she found she would be forced to pick a side. Samurai or Ardor. Seeing it as a new adventure and a way to find out who she truly was, the changed young woman decided to align herself with the robots in an attempt to soothe her questioning mind. She now travels about alone, suffering from severe mood swings and possible insanity.

(Goddamnit! I did it again! Sorry, Galleon xD I really tried not to go overboard on the history this time. But I liked the character so much I couldn’t stop myself. Sorry if I bored you/wasted your time :X)

Pokemon Companion:

Aidan the Rapidash
Personality: Aidan is noble, heroic and forgiving. He tends to see the best in people, and often has to remind his master with a whinny or a nudge that not all people are untrustworthy and some deserve respect. In a way, he keeps Rena’s temper and bad manners in check, and keep her from digging her own grave in social situations. He is one of the only reasons she has not lost her sanity and gone on a homicidal rampage out of complete mental exhaustion
History: Rena met Aidan when she was only 6 years old. She was still a aspiring samurai and was wandering through the woods after an intense training session. She found Aidan abandoned by a steam, a large gash in his side and nursed him back to health. The two orphans seemed to fit perfectly and he soon became her most beloved friend. (Brief history for you, I feel like I’ve bored you enough already. XD)
Distinguishing Marks: Three slashes across his left side, most lightly from a cat-like-pokemon or a Sneasel. He also has five crescent shaped scars across his muzzle from where Rena dug her fingers into his face as he forcibly removed her from the fire.
TMs: Toxic, Solar Beam, Flamethrower, Iron Tail

Yea...how does Rapidash not learn Flamethrower naturally??

Equipment: Weapons and such always confuse me…

Primary Weapon: Saw-edged Katana [Tier 1]Attr:[Piercing/Slashing/Serrating/---/---]Event:[---] (I like saws…they are like chainsaws…without the chain)
Secondary Weapon: Robotic (Claws (One hand) [Tier 1]Attr:[Piercing/Ripping/---]Event:[---]
Armor: Partial Iron Body (Right arm and upper thigh of her right leg) [Tier 1]Attr:[Piercing/Slashing/---/---]

More Equipment Info: Since she can only feel minimal pain in her robotic limbs she often uses them to block attacks without thinking. It is both a gift and a burden, as she can block as much as she wishes without feeling the drags of pain, but she also doesn’t know when to stop and usually can end up damaging her equipment immensely.

Special Power: When Rena links up with Aidan her sword bursts into flames, she can also transfer this into her metal claw, but runs the risk of the fire spreading up her arm and damaging the already scarred skin of her shoulder. She can also send waves of fire at short range in front of her if she waves her sword. She also takes on Aidan's ability of "Flash Fire" Meaning she can absorb parts of fire attacks and take their power.

NOTE: I know I made Rena really strong as a child, but she did mortally injure herself in a fire and screwed up her motor skills AND had to relearn the trade with her left hand. So she’s definitely not as skilled a samurai as she used to be. Plus, she’s a bit crazy now so… yea.

AND THERE IS MY POINTLESSLY LONG SIGN UP. Why are all my characters so weird… *sigh* Oh well. I hope you made it through this without your brain exploding xD

Nice detail. 'n don't worry about the time. Hell, I'm still working on my own sign-up.

Oh, and also, your secondary weapon only has one attribute assigned to it. I don't know if you plan to use it for something else, but you could still reasonably add piercing damage to it, right now. Thought I'd mention it, just in case. So yeah, pick your four TMs, 'n you'll be good to go.
