Default [SU]MegaMan X: Master of Puppets

Right, this is based mainly off of the MegaMan X series specifically, not the original series. However, you can use characters from the original games if you can tell how they're still around and make sense as you do so.

Plotzes and Stuffz:

It is the year 21XX, a time where technology and buildings are found in nearly every corner of the world, even the most arctic regions and deserts. Reploids and humans live side-by-side, each contributing their own part to their cities and communities. Reploids are robots (the word comes from replica and android) whom are all replicas of the original android, X. Most of the Reploids are imperfect, and most do not even resemble anything human, but nonetheless they are all based off of X's programming, which gives them an AI capable of free will. This allows them to live as civilians among humans, but as a consequence this also allows Reploids to become rebels and criminals, which are bent on the destruction of humans everything they stand for. These Reploids are dubbed as Mavericks, and they often do quite a lot of damage despite their relatively small numbers, which led to the creation of the Maverick Hunters.

The Maverick Hunters are a special group of Reploids, which have been given combat training and outfitted with weapons to destroy the Mavericks. They are more like a police/military force, and have higher-grade equipment than regular Reploids, including specialized combat armor and dash boots. Recently a new wave of Reploids have come in, very, very few are in existence though. The Reploids are able to copy the DNA of Mavericks onto their own systems, allowing them to copy their appearance into their enemies'. Very few of these Reploids exist, and only a handful of them can work their copying technique properly.

However, a new threat has just been unleashed upon humankind. They are called Puppeteers, and resemble biomechanical worms about a foot in length and are about as thick around as your finger. Seems pretty harmless right? Wrong. These things were engineered by Sigma, the leader of the Mavericks, so you know something's up with this. These creatures can bury into your head and take control of your mind or body, depending on whether you're a human or Reploid. Hosts to Puppeteers are called Puppets. Because these creatures are programmed for evil, whoever they possess immediately join the side of the Mavericks and help in their attempt to overthrow humanity. The only known way to get rid of these Puppeteers is to blow their host's head off, which results in the vaporizing of the brain and in turn, the Puppeteer. At the moment, there is no known way to get the Puppeteer out of their host's head, unless the thing crawls out itself.

When someone is possessed by a Puppeteer, their physical capabilities increase. Human are not worn down by fatigue or pain, and they don't seem to understand how much strain their muscles can take. Human Puppets fight to their bodies fullest capabilities, meaning that the Puppet's body will literally tear itself apart as it tears you apart. Reploid Puppets however, undergo much more extensive upgrades. Their armor changes, making them stronger and more lethal. Weapons and even other body parts can morph out of their armor, not only making them mutants but killer mutants. The Puppet's one goal in life is to destroy everything, so it will not stop trying to kill unless you either kill it first, or cripple to make sure it doesn't come after you.

Of course, Sigma controls all of the Puppeteers. To do this he uses a machine called Manipulator, which also is the power source for the Puppeteers' functioning. In other words, destroy it, and you shut down all of the Puppeteers. But, the only way to do this is to find the eight keys that go to the main computer of Sigma's base and trigger the self-destruct sequence. But Sigma, knowing this, has hidden the keys. He entrusted the keys to eight different Mavericks, each of them superpowered by the Puppeteers in their heads. The Mavericks then hid out in the most remote locations in their world, holed up in their own fortresses, keeping the keys safe.

The Mavericks Hunters, few in numbers now, have learned of Sigma's plan and are tracking down the eight Mavericks to steal the keys. There are few Maverick Hunters now, as a result of most of their members becoming Puppets. They now rarely leave their base, because Puppets literally crawl every nook and cranny outside and are hell-bent on destroying anything even resembling a Maverick Hunter. But the Hunters are notorious for never giving up, so long as there is a bit of hope left in the world. So, do you want to join the fight?

Species:

Reploids: Biomechanical creatures that resemble human (most of the time). They have a human-like awareness and intelligence programmed in them, making them capable of feeling emotions and rational thought. Reploids have biomechanical organs and parts that resemble a human's, making them a sort of technologically advanced homunculus. Because of their biomechanical construction, they have sensory abilities, are capable of breathing (but this mainly acts as an air-conditioning unit), and can consume food. But on the darker side, this allows them to experience pain, fatigue, and exhaustion. All Reploids have incredible strength, and are capable of lifting half a ton of weight. Also, they can climb any vertical surface, whether it be a rock face or a flat wall, due to special equipment in their legs. Maverick Hunters tend to be more powerful in both energy and strength than regular Reploids, but not by very much.

Maverick Hunters are also dressed in battle armor most of the time, but new technology has been invented so they don't have be wearing armor all the time. Their power cores (that thing in the middle of their chest) can be pressed, which doubles as an acitvation switch. The armor is retracted back into the crystal and filtered into a pocket of subspace until the button is pressed again. The process takes barely a second, and underneath the Reploids usually wear jumpsuits or something skintight.

If a Reploid is possessed by a Puppeteers, they lose control of their body. However, their minds and neural layout is incompatible with the Puppeteer, so therefore you are basically a prisoner in your own mind as you watch the Puppeteers control your body without your free will.

Humans: Humans have not changed much in all the years. Their lifespan has increased to nearly 150 years, and some are capable of having mechanical implants to make them stronger and live longer. Despite they have pretty much every disadvantage to Reploids, the robots still obey them like someone would a higher officer. Sometimes, even the more capable human go out and fight Puppets right alongside Maverick Hunters. Their bodies cannot be made into weapons like a Reploid's, so they carry their own weapons, which as a result gives them a wider weapon range.

If a human becomes a Puppet, their mind is completely taken over. However, Puppeteers are not used to the biological makeup of humans, and as a result are usually clumsy when they try to move their host body. Human Puppets are known to have irrational bouts of rage and will tear anything apart in these temper tantrums. Because a Puppeteer does not care for its host's condition, a human Puppet will literally fight you until it breaks its own body apart from the exertions.

AIs: AIs are programmed data and coding and live entirely in computers and other mechanical workings. They can upload themselves into any computer and hack like maniacs, making them invaluable for getting codes and such. They can also hide themselves in an email and whisk themselves away to a different computer terminal if they are in danger, which makes them extremely difficult to destroy (so smashing a computer monitor won't really work unless you're really sneaky about it). Reploids can upload AIs into their systems, which is rare but sometimes necessary. Usually both parties get annoyed with having to share a head with someone. If you have a AI in your computer/base, secrecy is pretty much null and void, since an AI can watch nearly everything you do. Because AIs are simple data and coding, they can reprogram themselves and even change their appearance if they so desire.

Rules: (I'm not a picky person, I let things slide. But if you get on my bad side then you are in major trouble)

1. NO MINIMODDING. AT ALL.
2. No illiterate people. This is one of my pet peeves. It makes me go insaaane.
3. No flaming. If this happens, I don't care who you are, I'm kicking you out.
4. No SPAM. 'Nother pet peeve here.
5. You can have as many characters as you can handle.
6. No bunnying. Unless, if you have permission, but say you have permission if you do so.
7. Details, details, DETAILS. There is no limit to details. You live in a world here. The world has sights, smells, sounds, tastes, and feel. Is it sunny or raining? Is it noisy or are your ears ringing from the silence? Does the air smell fresh and clean or polluted by car fumes? But, don’t go overboard. There’s no reason you should be smelling everybody you pass or tasting the random objects of interest or feeling everything.
8: You can play canon characters
10. To show me you read these, tell me where nine went.

Canon Characters (If anyone wants them)

-Megaman X (Mine as well)
-Zero (Taken by me)
-Axl (Yes, they're all mine)
-Sigma
-Signas (Not related to Sigma ;;>>)
-Vile
-Any other minor characters

SUs:

Name: (Of course)

Age: (This isn't really required for a Reploid or AI, since they can live forever :P)

Appearance: (Pics are allowed, but at least put in some text.)

Personality: (If I needs to explain this, yer in trouble)

History: (Same thing here, at least two paragraphs.)

Species: (Human, Reploid, AI, or Puppet?)

Side: (Sigma's or Maverick Hunter's)

Weapons(s): (Only Maverick Hunters and humans allied with them get these. And Puppets, buuut...There are two types of Maverick Hunter weapons, the Busters and Sabers. Busters are basically huge honkin' arm cannons that take up an entire Reploids arm from the elbow-down. Sabers are basically like lightsabers, but more sword looking. If someone has a Buster, they cannot have a Saber. But if they have a Saber, they can also have a buster, but smaller and less powerful. Each Maverick hunter has a weapons unique to them, like the X-Buster and Z-Saber, so you can make your weapon special if you want. Humans can have any non-Reploid weapon they want.) Little side note: You can also program yourself like an older 20XX Reploid, where you have hidden weapons like rocket launchers, lasers, and etc on your body like Vile does. But as a result, you must get rid of some of your inner working in order for them to fit inside your body.

Special Powers: (Don't really think this is necessary, but if you're a human with mechanical implants then say what the implants are. Every Reploid can defeat a Maverick and upload its programming into their CPU and copy their abilities, whereas the newer generation can scan a Maverick's DNA and literally turn into the Maverick for a short while.)

Other: (Did you want to say a last word or something?)

Accepted

Default Re: [SU]MegaMan X: Master of Puppets

Well, considering you're pulling out some of my favorite topics(robots and war), it's pretty much a given I'm joining, don't you think, Chibi? Please reserve me.

Name: Yumi Hanabusa

Age: 20

Appearance:
Meet Miss Hanabusa! Yumi stands in at about 5' 9" and is the average weight for and athletic girl her age('cause I suck at weights). She has clear, fair skin and beautiful golden brown eyes with chin-length brown hair that frames her face, which seems to always have a smile plastered to it. She dresses similarly to Kairi from Kingdom Hearts 2, with a pink sleeveless hoodie worn over a black tanktop that exposes a little of her stomach and your average shorts. She wears with these a pair of grey armwarmers that go to her mid upper arm and a matching pair of knee socks that are mostly covered by a pair of black boots meant mostly for winter wear, but she wears them year-round.

Personality: Yumi is an easy to befriend, cheerful woman that has one of those personalities that makes people naturally gravitate towards her. She's usually upbeat, and tries to keep morale up around the Maverick Hunters, which makes her a bit of a valuable asset in some ways. Being one of the few humans actually brave enough to join up with the Maverick hunters, she's also got a serious and tactical side to her, though she only shows it when she has to, and she's one heck of a fighter once you make her mad. She can commonly be found training, taking on whoever will fight with her in her spare time, or drawing manga characters out of boredom. Yumi's loyal to any cause she pledges herself to with all her heart, and the Maverick Hunters is one of those causes.

History: Yumi was born the oldest of three children in her family, and practically raised around machinery. Her father worked as a mechanic and her mother worked as a computer programmer for the Maverick Hunters. As a result, Yumi's been hanging around the 'good guys' for awhile now with her younger brother and sister. She had a pretty normal life otherwise, she attended normal school and had friends, but on top of that, she insisted in becoming like her parents and began taking fighting classes. While working with that, she also learned some minor mechanics and computer stuff from her parents, turning her into a bit of a "Jack of all trades", though she excelled mainly in fighting.

To further her fighting ability and help her keep up with the reploids she often found herself working with, Yumi found herself signing up for a mechanical enhancement of her legs at eighteen, allowing her to run faster and jump higher, as well as putting more of a punch behind her kicks, considering she tends to fight with her legs most aside from her gun. For awhile, she was having trouble getting used to her implants, but after two years of use, she might as well be a reploid herself with how well she handles them. She holds a black belt in karate, and still practices regularly, though she's moved on to trying to improve her fighting with her own tastes and working with a bit of gymnastics, which is producing mixed results while the Maverick Hunters are holed up, since she doesn't have the patience to hang around and tap at a computer all day to try and figure out where the eight Mavericks are.

Species: Human

Side: Maverick Hunters

Weapons(s): A pistol that seems to be a miniature and non-bodily version of a blaster, and her body.

Special Powers: She has leg implants that improve her speed, jump height, and put more force into her legs.

Other: Niki beat 9 to death like she beat the Ferrari.

Name: Rin

Age: Technically, about a year and a half

Appearance:
Here she is. Rin's got the look to her of an 11 year-old human child, with violet eyes and long silvery white hair that she's pulled back into two ponytails. When she's just chilling out(which she's been doing a lot of, lately), she wears a short, violet, Chinese style dress with sleeves detatched from it that match the dress tied on at her elbows and she tends to go barefoot. Her armor is stored in her(predictably violet) power core that seems to be part of the dress she wears.

When she is in her armor, she takes off her sleeves and ends up with what she calls "frustratingly bulky" leg armor, though it's some of the lightest armor you can find on Maverick hunters these days, consisting multiple plates that resemble boot-like shoes that go up her legs and stop at about her mid-thigh and expose her legs(hidden by some kind of black material) until you hit the main body of her armor, starting with a small, skirt-like piece that continues up into armor that covers her body which looks like a modified, metallic version of her dress and the black material covering her arms to about her elbows, where it's taken over by more thin armor that resemble gloves. Her head is topped with a simple rounded helmet that allows her to keep her hair up and covers her mouth, but leaves her eyes exposed. All of her plating is, quite predictably, violet/purple and white.

Personality: Rin is surprisingly quiet and serious for her childish appearance, not to mention pretty freakin' smart. Then again, she is basically a computer, but still... She excels at hand-to-hand fighting, making her pretty good friends with yumi, and they can often be found sparring together when they have free time. She's the kind to sit and watch an epic argument quietly and let it play out rather than bother to try and help break it up. In spite this, she's highly curious, though she hides it behind her seriousness. She tends to hang out with Yumi for this reason, asking Yumi twenty billion questions about what this and that is rather than use a computer to look everything up. She has a hidden weakness for small, furry animals, especially kittens and cats.

History: Rin was brought online about a year and a half ago, about a few months before the Puppeteers invaision. Being as new as she was and meant to be a cute and innocent little girl type, she didn't understand near as much as she probably should have, and wound up in the crossfire of a puppeteer attack. She was saved by a timely entrance by Yumi, who dragged her(almost literally, she was pretty much hysterical by that time) to safety. Upset by how utterly useless she'd been, not to mention clueless and unable to defend herself, she asked to join the Mavericks and help out. After a few "adjustments" to her original personality programming(which basically consisted of Yumi yelling at her until she got enough courage to yell back and hold a decent arguement for a good few minutes without backing down) followed by some minor training in fighting, they allowed her to join.

Quickly taking a liking to Yumi, the two began sparring to train Rin up as much as they could on top of her basic training. This resulted in the two of them both excelling further in hand-to-hand, as well as improving her own speed and ability to guess the movements of her opponents. Along with that, she also undertook swordfighting training as a secondary weapon, though she isn't as good with a sword as she is with her hands and feet.

Species: Reploid

Side: Maverick Hunters

Weapons(s): Rin's pretty simple, she packs a saber with a violet blade that takes on the appearance of your average sword.

Special Powers: Rin is able to judge what her opponent's next nove may be from their motions, which works much better on people she's fought before or at length.

Other: N/A

Default Re: [SU]MegaMan X: Master of Puppets

Duo and Bass(Forte) are ready :D

Name: Forte (Bass)

Age: One hundred-something

Appearance: -Old body

-New body

Treble

When Bass and Treble fuse, a jet booster forms on Bass’s back, ejecting two huge wings of pure purple energy, generated by the Bassinium energy supply within both of them. This form is nearly three times as powerful as the already dangerous Bass is normally.

Personality: Bass is presented as an extremely smug, bad tempered, egotistical, rebellious, fiercely independent and arrogant individual who believes that he's the strongest above all else. Bass thinks very highly of himself, labeling everyone else around him as inferior "junk robots". He has always been shown to hold a grudge against Mega Man, but aside from him, Bass happens to have an intense hatred for every robot that was created by Dr. Wily (with the possible exception of Treble and needless to say, himself), since he feels that they're standing in the way of his goal to destroy Mega Man and become the strongest. Bass looks down on them, believing himself to be superior to them in every way, shape, and form. However, a notable aspect of his personality he showed was that he seemed to have some degree of respect for humans, since they created robots. Duo says that there is goodness in Bass, which he ignored saying that he only wants to fight, claiming that his only concern is who the strongest is.

Bass is outraged that Dr. Wily attempted to use Zero as a replacement, fueling a hatred even deeper for Zero than any other robot produced by Dr. Wily. He is unaware that X is not the same Mega Man that he fought, thinking instead that he is his old foe. He has next to no concern about Sigma’s attempt to take over the world, save for one thing; to prove that he’s the strongest of all robots, Bass has set out to crush every last one of the Mavericks, Sigma included, before destroying his successor and X for good, proving once and for all that Bass is the strongest of all robots.

History: Bass, now known by the codename Forte, is the last functioning Robot Master. Constructed by Dr. Wily to destroy MegaMan and using the accidentally created energy source Bassinium, Bass is a formidable foe. He several times turned on Dr. Wily when his incompetence grew too much for Bass to stand, obliterating any Robot Masters in his path and repeatedly proving his strength, though ultimately his arrogance allowed MegaMan to defeat him in their fights. When Zero was first created, Bass was outraged, claiming that a ‘Long-Haired Sissy Bot’ like him would never be able to surpass him. Shortly before his death, Dr. Wily shut Bass and Forte down and sealed them away in Dr. Wily’s fortress, deep beneath his Skull Island base, and he remained dormant for many, many years.

Suddenly, a power surge in the fortress jump started Bass’s systems, and he awoke to find that he had been upgraded by the still-functioning machines of Dr. Wily’s laboratory, as well as having been given a dual power supply; Bassinium and the energy used in Zero’s creation. Using the decrepit spy satellites still orbiting the planet, Bass downloaded the data he had not experienced, and quickly assessed that his ‘brother’, Zero, was still online. Now with a mission in mind, Bass took the name of Forte and, together with Treble, set out to destroy Zero and prove once and for all that he was the most powerful of all the Robot Masters.

Species: Robot Master

Side: Neither

Weapons(s): Bass’s Buster
Modular body; Body can be upgraded seamlessly.

Maverick Hunter Armor; A modified Maverick Hunter armor retrieved for Bass and made to resemble his normal body. Like his own form, it is capable of linking with Treble to create a more powerful, flying version.

Treble; A wolf-like automaton designed to mimic MegaMan’s partner, Rush.

Special Powers: Power mimic; Forte can copy the abilities of the Robot Masters he crushed, as well as the Reploids he obliterates. These upgrades assure that he’s still a potent threat despite his age.

Energy manipulation; Forte has surpassed the need of using his Buster canon; he is capable of firing energy beams from his hands. These are not as focused or well-aimed as those from his Buster, but they can be used in whatever way Forte desires.

Other: What happened to 9? It got outta line, of course…

Name: Duo

Age: ???

Appearance: Duo is a massive robot, towering almost nine feet tall and boasting equal strength. His left hand is much larger than his right, and holds the power to cleanse evil
Duo’s Earth body (Normal body is incapable of handling Earth’s atmosphere correctly)

Personality: Duo is programmed for one thing and one thing only; the erradication of evil energy. To keep him from being a ruthless monster, whoever created him gave Duo a hero’s personality. He is a kind, caring individual, capable of seeing the good in even the lowest of scoundrels, even Bass. Unless against an enemy with evil energy, Duo will hold his strength back to avoid damaging his opponents too badly. He is also surprisingly social, able to get along well with many of Dr. Light’s machines, including the original MegaMan when he was last on Earth.

Duo is a very serious robot, and he does not joke with anything he says. He does not care if the laws of the world he is on are broken, as there would be no laws if the evil energy Duo seeks to destroy was able to succeed. He cares for his comrades, and will defend them in battle, but he will not hesitate to harm anyone in the way of his mission. When not busy, Duo is a very likeable automaton, if a bit cold and serious.

History: Duo. A mysterious alien machine that fell to the planet some hundred years ago. While battling a robot with evil energy in space, Duo was forced to pursue the damaged opponent to the planet. Duo misjudged the gravic pull of the planet, and crashed to the surface, badly damaging his body. He was discovered by MegaMan, and taken to Dr. Light to be repaired. After this, Duo assisted MegaMan in defeating Dr. Wily, who had been nearly killed by the evil energy he’d accidentally absorbed.

After this, Duo returned to space… Until a new source of evil energy drew him back to the planet. The ’Puppeteers’, as they were called, radiated evil energy strong enough that Duo sensed it from halfway across the galaxy. His mission to destroy the forces of evil will not be stopped, having missed the last deposits of evil energy in his excursion to the planet and allowing the energy to multiply and produce such a threat. With Duo’s legendary strength, there is little out of reach; however, will Duo be able to return to Earth in time to save anyone, or will he be to late…?

Species: ??? (An alien machine of some sort)

Side: The Maverick Hunters

Weapons(s): Cleansing Light; Duo’s massive left fist holds incredible power, capable of punching through nearly any barrier. He is also capable of firing a beam of blue energy from the device on his chest. Because of this, he is also able to suck out Puppeteer energy and restore control to the puppet, though this ability draws heavily on Duo’s own strength, and he can only use the ability once in the span of a week.

Shield of Light; No evil energy can touch the internal systems of the powerful Duo. As such, Puppeteers are unable to enter his body, being repelled by a powerful surge of Duo’s immense energy and vaporized. Even if one were to penetrate this shield, his machinery is millions of years ahead of Human technology, and it is impossible to manipulate at their current evolutionary state.

Special Powers: Cleansing evil; Duo has the ability to detect evil energy, and it is his mission to destroy all evil energy before it consumes any world.

Comet Transform; Duo has the ability to shroud himself in blue flame and rocket at speeds nearing the speed of light, turning him into a deadly projectile.

Astounding strength; Duo possesses immense strength, enough so that even the legendary Guts Man would be given a run for his money in a test of strength. His cosmic might adds electric damage to his strikes.

Other: (Did you want to say a last word or something?)

Oh come on, when have I ever made something boring? And to avoid spam, I'm making a DS thread.

Dear gods it's finally done X_x

Name: Zero

Age: A couple hundred years or so

Appearance: Clickeh! (His sword's actually green :P) Zero has ice blue eyes and an almost constant serious expression on his face. His bright crimson armor and golden hair make him stick out like a sore thumb, but he seems to not care how make enemies he attracts, since he can destroy all of them. Despite his bulky-looking armor, Zero can perform a stunning array of acrobats and is incredibly fast.

Personality: Zero is a serious die-hard fighter who wouldn't hesitate to take action. He's the kind of person who reacts immediately without thinking, which has both saved his life and put him in trouble on multiple occasions. He tends to acts cold an emotionless towards others even though underneath his shell lies a wounded soul. It is quite evident that he does have the capacity to care for others, as shown with his two teammates X and Axl and most recently, his new apprentice Serena. Zero keeps cool under most circumstances, and no matter what his enemies do to him he almost always comes with a retort for it.

Despite not viewing himself as a hero (although Zero has certainly earned the title) Zero has shown multiple times that he is willing to give himself up for the sake of others. He also has a distaste in the deaths of innocents, which comes up quite a lot with the newest Puppet uprising.

Because of Zero's quick reaction in combat, a Hunter Class has actually been named after him, called Class Z. It is the highest ranking class and currently only Zero seems to occupy it. Zero's mind is jump as quick as his reactions, and he has an incredible deductive reasoning and in sight to problems that elude others. He was the first one to realize Sigma was traitor before Sigma himself officially announced it. When all the other Reploids and humans started going berserk, Zero assumed it was some new creation of Sigma that controlled their actions. He was actually pretty close to the real thing, even though he guessed it all.

History: Zero was created sometime in the early 21st century by the late Dr. Wily. Zero was the Doctor's last creation, and Wily described Zero as his greatest masterpiece. Learning from his past mistakes, Wily built Zero to be far more advanced than anything he had ever built before, and his original purpose was to kill X as well as Bass, because Wily was fed up with his constantly rebelling nature. As a result Zero's power supposedly surpassed both X's and Bass', even though Wily never actually tested this out. Much like Dr. Light did with X, Wily sometimes kept Zero in a semi-conscious state and talked with him, although Zero was aggressive and disobedient. Because of this, Dr. Wily decided to seal Zero in a capsule.

About a century later, around the early 22nd century, Zero was reactivated by a group of Reploids who happened to stumble across his capsule in the remains of Dr. Wily's lab. However, Zero was very violent and destroyed all of the Reploids and destroyed anything else that wandered into the lab. A group of elite Maverick Hunters was sent out to kill/capture him, but Zero killed the whole unit. Their commander, Sigma, not wanting to lose any more comrades, challenged Zero in a one-on-one battle. Even Zero gained the upper hand throughout most of it, Sigma won by punching Zero in his head gem and knocking him out. (Which in turn caused the Sigma virus to be transferred from Zero to himself)

When Zero regained consciousness, he was a lot calmer and quieter, he seemingly mindless killing passed. (The Sigma virus was the cause of it, which Sigma himself now possessed) He joined the Maverick Hunters and soon rose to be their very best Hunter, he was so good he had his own Hunter Class named after him. He befriended a Reploid called X, who was the original Reploid whom every other Reploid (excluding Zero) was based off of. X was an incredibly good Hunter, but he hesitated to pull the trigger on an enemy, because he thought and cared too much. This was the only reason X was a B ranking Hunter instead of an A or S, and Zero took it upon himself to get X out of his habit, as well as protecting X whenever he was in trouble. When Reploids started massively going Maverick, which was because Sigma simultaneously hacked and overrode most of their systems, it was Zero who first figured out who was behind it. He and X were unable to stop Abel City from being missiled, but ever since they have tried to stop Sigma in any way possible.

After Sigma was (supposedly) dead, along with Zero, Zero managed to get rebuilt somewhere along the line since his control chip was still intact. (Skipping fourth game cause that was boring) About eight years after the Repliforce War, Sigma resurfaced again, spreading the Sigma virus which cause Reploids to go instant Maverick. Zero was the one who piloted the shuttlecraft to destroy the space station Eurasia after the Enigma cannon failed to destroy it; Sigma had infected the station with the virus and was planning to crash it into the Earth to spread the virus worldwide. Zero was successful, but in the process he was infected with the Sigma virus and a new, mutated version of the virus called the Zero Virus emerged. As X and Zero fought to get to Sigma, Zero's infection level rose, yet he showed no signs of Maverick behavior. Finally, X decided to bring Zero back to the base, whereas Zero refused and the two got into a fight, resulting in Sigma attacking them and Zero having to drive him off. After this Zero gained a new body, upgraded by his virus, and pursued Sigma.

However, Sigma told Zero that his plan was to have Zero infected all along, using the Eurasia so Zero would go inside of it and be infected by the virus. Sigma learned from an "Old Man" (aka Wily's ghost or something to that effect) that Zero was the original carrier for the virus and it was the virus that was the reason why he was so violent when he first awakened. To awaken his true self, Sigma flooded Zero with the virus. In rage mainly brought on by his inner self, Zero attacked Sigma and halfway through X stepped in. Sigma planned to X to take as a hostage for Zero, but Zero threw himself in front of a blast Sigma aimed at X, shielding X but having himself blown in half in the process. When X recovered, he found Zero's torso and right arm still intact, but that was it. X begged for Zero to live, but Zero knew he was dying. In the background, Zero saw the remains of Sigma get up and fire one final blast from his mouth, which impaled both of them in the chest; as Zero fell, he managed to fire one last shot at Sigma and (supposedly) kill him. X was salvaged by Dr. light's spirit afterwards, and Zero was believed to be dead since his remains weren't found. But in reality he was found by the mad scientist Gate and his assistant Isoc, who repaired him so they could use his designs for their own purposes. Zero quickly escaped and went back to the Maverick Hunters, later finding Axl and allying with him.

When the Puppeteers arose, Zero immediately guessed Sigma, even though Sigma was believed to be dead. But Zero knew Sigma had an odd ability of not managing to stay dead when everyone wanted him dead, and theorized that the traitor had made some sort of technology that caused him to control the minds of others. Even though it was all guesswork, Zero happened to be right for the most part. The Maverick Hunters began turning into Puppets, and Zero quickly drew the small remains of his team (and the others') into a tight net that he kept a watchful eye on. He made one Hunter his apprentice since he knew she needed the most help with learning how to concentrate. Her name was Serena and she took an immediate liking to him, calling him sensei and 'niisama, much to his annoyance and secret amusement. Even though Zero never admits it, he's quite fond of his charge and finds amusement in her antics. Currently he's working to restore Abel city and find the eight Puppets whom Sigma entrusted his keys to

Species: He is the only other original robot besides X (Because Reploids are based off of X's design, which Zero is not)

Side: Maverick Hunter

Weapons(s): Zero's signature weapons is his Z-Saber, a green lightsaber-sword which can cut through most armors. He's a master at it, having more skill with the sword than his buster, even though his buster was his original weapon. He is known as the best sword master in the entire Maverick Hunter base, a title which no one competes with. His secondary weapon is his Z-Buster, a smaller version of a buster which does lesser damage. But, if his buster is fully charged Zero can fire his shot into the ground and the shot will explode out in all directions.

Special Powers: Zero, like all Reploids, can copy the ability of any enemy he defeats. He can dash quickly with his boots and is an expert at scaling any vertical surface. Even though the Zero virus is out of his system, he still can fly into a berserk rage, but only if very provoked.

Other: He really wishes Serena would stop calling him 'niisama.

Name: Serena

Age: About a year

Appearance: Serena is usually dressed in silver armor that has white highlights, with a deep blue power gem in her chest and helmet. Her helm is somewhat like Zero's; it tapers into two points, but they are thicker and wider at the base, giving a cat-like appearance. She has pale skin and deep, deep blue eyes that are captivating to look at. She has thigh-length white hair that drifts out of her helmet in a fashion much similar to Zero's but her hair is known to be a bit messier than Zero's. Her armor is more slender than the male Reploids' indicating her gender, but it still fits the Maverick Hunter requirements. Attached to her back is her saber and her left forms her Buster.

Personality: Serena has somewhat of a dual personality, to put it lightly. Still being only a child, she often has her childish aspects to her, such as innocence and that rare ability to get into trouble every time you look away for five seconds. Yet being around all the Maverick Hunters has given her wit, sarcasm, and a very sharp tongue. Sometimes she switched between the moods so quickly she puzzles people, but Serena never seems to notice. She has an odd hero-worship for her mentor Zero, whom she refers to as sensei and 'niisama. Zero grudgingly puts up with this (except for the 'niisama part) if only because he likes her too. Serena is often asking questions about everything, and despite the fact that she scares easily over enemies, she won't hesitate to attack. This has given her a B+ Class among Hunters, the only things holding her back are her clumsiness and innocence.

History: Serena was created to be a fighting Reploid, and was put to training only a few weeks after she was created. She was taught how to fight and soon became friends with most of the Maverick Hunters, they loved her innocence and the way she could pick up on things very quickly. She had quite a fondness for the saber, so she was put under Zero's command unit Serena adored her commander, and Zero pretended not to notice. Serena managed to become a proficient sword wielder and her shooting skills were unnaturally good, but her tenancy to cause accidents (sometimes really big accidents) kept her a B+ ranking Hunter.

When the Puppeteers attacked, Serena had been patrolling Abel City at the time and was nearly run over by a crowd of bloodthirsty Puppets. The only way Serena survived was by dropping her stuff and running for her life. She managed to run onto a highway overpass, which was blocked by a major traffic accident. Then, while Serena was trapped, a hornet Maverick swooped in and fired upon the bridge, destroying the middle and causing most of the people on it to fall. Serena was one of these people, but fortuitously a cargo truck had been caught on one of the support wires, and she fell into the open cargo hold while the truck was suspended in mid-air. Serena was knocked out, and came to much later, after night had fallen. She heard someone calling her name, and realized it was Zero. She shouted at him and her commander quickly rescued her. He said that HQ had picked up her signal and told him that Serena was still uninfected, but had not answered their calls so Zero went to go find her. He had found her Saber and knew she was nearby . He took her back to the base for repairs and made the Reploid his personal apprentice (much to her delight), explaining that there wasn't much of his unit left anymore, and that Serena really needed to learn a few things.

Species: Reploid

Side: Maverick Hunter

Weapons(s): Serena wields a Saber, colored a bright blue and named the S-Saber. It is a sharp as Zero's but it slightly thinner and somewhat more sword-looking. It had the ability to electrocute its enemies, something that always delights Serena. Her Buster is called the S-Buster, small like all sword wielder's are, but it is a different kind of Buster. When she fires her weapon, not only is her target hit with energy, but a concussion blast as well. It basically has the same effect of being hit with a full blast and being run over by a bus at the same time.

Special Powers: Serena can copy the abilities of any Maverick she destroys, and can morph parts of her body into their main weapons. Also, she not only has boosters installed into her feet but her shoulders as well, giving her both a much higher jump and hovering capabilities for a short while.

Other: (Did you want to say a last word or something?)

Default Re: [SU]MegaMan X: Master of Puppets

Name: Roll

Age: A little more than a hundred, give or take.

Appearance: Roll's Reploid body was designed to look like her normal body, with blonde hair, blue eyes and fair skin. her usual attire is a dress with red boots

Personality: Roll is a kind, caring robot built by Dr. Light. A pacifist in her entirety, Roll doesn’t like fighting to an extreme; while she will defend herself, if she has to hurt her attacker, she will apologize and blush furiously. She’s something of a busybody, and always seems to be doing work of some sort. Because of her horrible fighting skills, Roll is quite timid around those who are battle trained, though she’s no less outgoing.

During her free time, Roll enjoys talking to others about various mechanical things, as well as tinkering with new inventions. She’s become surprisingly brilliant with the change of body to a Reploid, often making or remaking her old Robot Master friends, such as Guts Man. Roll also enjoys baking and reading books, as well as hearing stories of other’s exploits. She has a big crush on Bass and Zero. It’s not uncommon for Roll to randomly give a person a hug if they look upset about something.

History: Roll was at one point in time Dr. Light’s fateful assistant, making lunch, doing housework, and helping Dr. Light with various odd jobs, and the two had a father-daughter relationship. She was also a friend of the original MegaMan when he was still active. In Dr. Light’s will, he asked that Roll be taken care of and be kept up to date in terms of technology, and in honor of his wish, she was. Somewhere along the lines, she was transferred to a Reploid body and became the unofficial medic of the Maverick Hunters, and she’s still performing her duties cheerfully and energetically.

Having been Dr. Light’s assistant and helping with the creation of X, she’s the oldest member of the Maverick Hunters, though she is horrible in terms of offensive strength. Because of her extensive knowledge of machinery, Roll is able to rebuild the bodies of robots supposedly long dead and restore them to perfect working order. Some of the Maverick Hunters find her cleaning tendencies to be annoying, but no one wants to make her feel bad and leave, as she’s the best repair woman they have. She has a crush on Bass and Zero.

Species: Reploid (former Robot Master)

Side: Maverick Hunters

Weapons(s): Broom, Mop & Bucket
Roll buster; Takes twice as long to fire and does half the damage of normal Busters.

Special Powers: Repair: Provided she has the right parts, Roll can repair other Reploids fairly quickly.
Upgrade: By providing Roll with parts, she is able to increase the strength of weapons, armor, and the like. She’s also able to produce entirely new objects… However, she’s had to start charging money for her services.

Other: (Did you want to say a last word or something?)

Name: Protoman

Age: ?

Appearance: Blues greatly resembles his old body, though he is still afflicted by the same condition as he was before.

Personality: Protoman is very independent, and also very skeptical. He does not easily accept help, nor does he enjoy the company of others much. Truth be told, Protoman would rather live the rest of his existence in solitude, if simply so no one would worry about him. The prototype of Megaman, he has a strong sense of justice.

Protoman is usually serious and distant, but he is still kind and compassionate. He cares about the problems of others, even if he does not trust them, and his mission is to make the most of his life by protecting everyone he can. He prefers to work alone, and keeps his problems to himself to avoid anyone attempting to help him. It is difficult to win Protoman’s trust, and none so far have been successful in winning it. His signature whistle marks his arrival. Protoman is well aware that the current Megaman likely does not know who he is, but he gives aid to the Maverick Hunters regardless.

History: The robot that started it all. Protoman was the prototype built by Dr. Light as a precursor to Megaman and the other Robot Masters. However, Dr. Light discovered that Protoman had a problem with his power core; he was running out of energy, and would die if it wasn’t fixed. Protoman, having grown distrust to the doctor being the only one of his kind, fled, fearing that Dr. Light would change who he was. Some time later, just as Protoman’s energy was nearing its limits, he stumbled upon Dr. Light’s old partner, Dr. Wily. Dr. Wily replaced Protoman’s solar reactor with a miniature nuclear reactor, giving Protoman a longer lifespan than he was expected to have. For a short while, he worked for Dr. Wily under the alias of Break man, but he quickly realized that Dr. Wily had his sights set upon the conquest of the world. From them forth, he was an ally of the original Megaman.

Shortly before his death, Protoman finally agreed to allow Dr. Light to try to fix his rapidly deteriorating energy core… but while Protoman was in shutdown, Dr. Light died. As no one else was really aware of how to fix Protoman from where Dr. Light had left him, he remained inactive for years in Roll’s care. One day, five years ago, while the Maverick Hunters were elsewhere, a power surge restored Protoman’s energy and reactivated him. Finding himself in an upgraded body almost exactly like his original (though with more outrageous hair), Protoman left the Maverick Hunter’s base, and rumors begun to circulate that Protoman had returned from history. When the Maverick Hunters returned, Protoman was gone, and only a recording of his signature whistle remained of him. Protoman’s current whereabouts are unknown, but he always seems to appear when he is most needed.

Species: Reploid

Side: Maverick Hunters (Not a member)

Weapons(s): Proto Buster; Fires two consecutive shots.
Proto Shield
Big Bang Strike; An attack dangerous to Protoman. Using it severely drains his power supply, and he’s venerable while using the attack.

Special Powers: Virus; Protoman takes twice as much damage from attacks, and can only fire his Proto Buster twice in a row to avoid overheating, putting him at a disadvantage.

Default Re: [SU]MegaMan X: Master of Puppets

Wohoo double post. Because I am so lazy, I am only putting X and Axl up for the moment. (Not to mention we don't really need Vile and Inze till a little bit later.)

Name: Megaman X (Simply called X)

Age: A hundred or so years

Appearance: Simple design, right? X, not being a Reploid, has a slightly different design than other Reploids. The main part being that he does not have a power core in the middle of his chest, nor does he need one. His Buster is the only weapon he has, and consequently it it incredibly powerful. Because of the simple design of X's armor, it is very easy to upgrade and change it, often giving X multiple forms.

Personality: X, despite fighting Mavericks and Sigma with all of his might, is really a pacifist at heart. He used to hesitate to shoot enemies, and even nowadays he hates just randomly killing people. X would like nothing more than the fighting to be over, and for humans and Reploids to coexist peacefully next to each other, like his creator, Dr. Light, had always wished. He cares deeply for anyone who is a victim of war and for his friends who have fought so long beside him, especially Zero, whom he regards as his best friend.

X has incredible reasoning and physical capabilities, due to Dr. light. The Doctor wanted to create a new brand of robots that could think and reason for themselves without programming limitations. He was successful, but as a result X has been known to think far too deeply into things, often making him hesitate and even doubt his own capabilities. He cares far too much for other things to make his job as a Hunter any easier, but somehow he pulls through. X is known to be very trusting and friendly, which sometimes leads to his downfall.

History: X was the last creation of Dr. Light, the result of Light wanting to make a robot that could think, feel, and act completely on its own. He was successful, but Light feared that X might end up doing more harm than good, because X had no morals programmed into his system and therefore couldn't tell right from wrong. To make sure this didn't happen, Light sealed him in a capsule that would but X through a multitude of tests that would test his morals and ensure that he knew right from wrong and would be willing to do the right thing. Unfortunately, these tests took 30 years to complete, which by then Dr. Light had very poor health. Often speaking to his creation, Light told X that e was sorry that he could never see X activated. He knew X was everything he wanted him to be, but Dr. Light knew that humans weren't just quite ready to live together with a robot that had such an advanced AI it could pass for a human. Dr. Light sealed X in another capsule until such a time would come.

Almost a century later, an archeologist by the name of Dr. Cain would stumble across the old remains of Dr. Light's lab and find X in his capsule. Dr. Light had left a note warning anyone not to open it, but Cain was fascinated by the designs of X, which were far more advanced anything he had ever seen, even a century later. In his curiosity, Cain activated X and took the robot with him. X was initially confused at first, but helped Dr. Cain as a lab assistant as Cain copied some of X's designs and used them to make other robots, ones he dubbed as "Reploids". These Reploids were accepted quite easily and quickly into the human society, proving it was time when humans were ready to accept robots with such advanced thinking patterns. But Cain was only an archeologist, and it is understandable that his Reploids would start malfunctioning from glitches, faulty wiring, and other such problems.

These Reploids were the first known batch of Mavericks. It began happening more frequently, and the Mavericks were taken offline and then reprogrammed with much better wiring. Some malfunctions still occurred, but these repairs gave the Reploids much too free will, and some turned Maverick willingly, believing that they were better than humans and humans needed to be destroyed because they were an inferior species. To put a stop to these Mavericks, the Maverick Hunters were created. Feeling responsible for the situation, X joined the Maverick Hunters and was put into Commander Sigma's 17th unit, but remained a B Class Hunter because of his tenancy to hesitate when fighting. Some of his other teammates, such as Vile, looked down upon him and called him weak because of it, and some of the higher ranking team members, like Sigma and Zero, decided to help train X out of his habit.

When Sigma turned traitor because of the Maverick virus slowly turning him insane, X hesitated to shoot his former commander because Sigma was holding Zero in the way. His hesitancy cost them Abel City, since Sigma was able to activate a whole missile base and shoot the missiles at Abel City because of it. But in his rage, X attacked Sigma, his head gem glowing as he did. His hand lit up and he hit Sigma in the face, giving Sigma two long scratches down his face. Unfortunately, most of X's power was drained, which allowed Sigma to escape. He overrode most of the security systems on all of the Reploids and soon nearly every Reploid was going Maverick. X was able to stop Sigma later on, at the cost of Zero's life (or he was at least presumed dead). However, a few months later an organization called the X-Hunters popped up, telling X they had Zero's parts and challenged X to come get them. X quickly destroyed their organization and took Zero's parts to Dr. Cain, who was able to reconstruct Zero since he still had Zero's control chip with him.

Years later, the Sigma Virus broke out, and Sigma was planning to spread the virus worldwide by infecting the space station Eurasia with the virus and crashing it to Earth. When the Maverick Hunters failed to take the station down with a cannon, Zero piloted a shuttle to the inside of the station and destroyed it manually. Zero managed to survive, but as a result was infected with the virus, which mutated into the Zero virus. When x and Zero were trying to find where the virus originated from, X was forced to fight Zero because Zero had refused to turn to the Hunter base so he could have a full check on his virus readings. In the middle of the battle, Sigma appeared and tried to destroy them, but was beaten by Zero. When X regained consciousness, he went off after the two and came upon the middle of their battle. Sigma tried to use X against Zero and fired a blast at X, but Zero threw himself in front of X and took the full blast, which blew him in half.

Later, in the ruins of Sigma's base, X found what remained of Zero's body and tried to find signs of life, but was blasted through the chest from a final blast from Sigma. As he lay dying, Dr. Light's spirit found him and somehow repaired him, telling X that he wasn't allowed to die just yet. X tried to find Zero's body, but could only find his weapon. X took the Saber as a reminder of his friend, but was unaware that Zero had actually been found by two mad scientists and carried off. Months later, a clone of Zero showed up -- named the Zero Nightmare -- and X took this as a personal offense and went to destroy the copy. It was more strong than he expected, but suddenly the real Zero showed up and promptly finished off the clone. X was puzzled, but overjoyed that Zero was somehow still alive. Zero would never tell him how he survived, which X accepted somewhat grudgingly, and gave Zero his sword back.

Recently Axl joined their team, and only a year after the Maverick Hunters accepted him did the Puppeteers break out. X had been on a recon mission at the time, well out of Abel City, when they attacked. he was ordered back immediately and saw carnage and destruction from the Puppets. Few of the Maverick Hunter units survived, and X and Zero have split the remaining Hunters between their two teams. x feels even more hesitant to fight now, because he knows the Puppets are prisoners of their own minds and there may be a way to save them. He is disgusted every time he kills a Puppet, because he knows that there is a person behind that Puppeteer, and he just killed an innocent soul.

Species: X is the first robot, and technically not a Reploid, since Reploids are robots based off of his design.

Side: Maverick Hunter

Weapons(s): X's only weapon is his X-Buster, which his right arm turns into a giant cannon capable of firing huge blasts. Since it is his only weapon, it is extremely powerful and can blast through walls and many other things easily. It has a special charge attack as well, if it charges up fully then you get out of the way or else. However, because his armor design is so simple, it can easily be upgraded and changed, giving him multiple possibilities of designs and different weapons equipped with his armor.

Special Powers: X can copy the ability of any Maverick he defeats, making it incredibly handy against some enemies. He seems to have some secret power however, which everyone but himself can see. It only manifests itself when he is near death or in the grip of some powerful emotion.

Other: Light gave X his name because X is a variable, which stands for any number and therefore infinite possibilities, which hearkens to X's intelligence and therefore can do anything he wants with his life.

Name: Axl

Age: Around five or six years, it never really says

Appearance: Normal Axl And Axl with his pistols! Axl has a stark red on black coloring, which both makes him stealthy and is apparently intended to intimidate others. he has a wild, unruly hairstyle that he spikes crazily, as if trying to show himself how different he is. He has startling dark green eyes that hardly ever seem serious, and an X-shaped scar decorating his face. The two extensions on his back can come up and act as "wings", which can allow him to hover for a short while.

Personality: Axl seems to be the least mature of the group, cocky with a wicked sense of humor. Sometimes he can be a little arrogant in his abilities, which gets him into trouble that X or Zero have to get him out of. But Axl always has to have something to do, if he doesn't then he can get whiny and gets on people's nerves very quick (especially Zero). Even though he has flaws, Axl is kind-hearted and cares about others, generally he is very easy to get along with when he's not bored

Axl also has a fondness for battling, putting him at a direct contrast to X. He loves the thrill of it and would gladly go on a battle run if someone asked him to. Sometimes this isn't necessarily a bad thing however, since he's managed to convince X on multiple occasions to keep fighting for the Maverick Hunters.

History: Axl used to work for a bounty hunter force named Red Alert, but eventually ends up leaving after questioning their methods. He was chased by a large Maverick and "rescued" by Zero, who brought him back to the Maverick Hunters. Pretty soon Red Alert and the Maverick Hunters start fighting, because Red Alert wanted Axl back. It was understandable, because Axl was a prototype for a new breed of Reploid that could copy his enemy's DNA into his system and literally transform into that enemy. Wanting to make up for his mistakes, Axl joined the Maverick Hunters, even though the Hunters weren't willing to trust him. He was partnered with Zero, and the duo were able to make X come back and start fighting again.

After Red Alert had been crushed, Axl stayed with the Hunters, eventually becoming a full S-ranked member and earning X and Zero's full trust. Axl managed to upgrade himself after more sophisticated versions of copying Reploids began appearing. Before he could only copy the forms of enemies that he shot a Copy Shot at, and only for a short while. Now he could defeat them and download their DNA into his CPU, where it would stay there forever and he could stay transformed for as long as he wanted to. Not to mention his range of copying increased, and he can copy anyone he wants to now.

Axl happened to be right in the middle of Abel City when the Puppeteers attacked, coincidently right in the center of their first wave. Axl was almost possessed himself, but by some stroke of dumb luck one of his pistol shot happened to hit a weak building junction just right and he brought a whole building on top of his attackers. With most of his foes gone, Axl hightailed it back to the Hunters HQ, Puppets chasing furiously after him. When he was exhausted and only halfway back, by another stroke of luck he found an abandoned hoverbike, still online, and rode it all the way back to the base. Even though he was almost killed twice, Axl stills goes outside more often than any Hunter, trying to thin the Puppets ever-growing numbers.

Species: New Generation Reploid

Side: Maverick Hunter

Weapons(s): Special twin handguns that fire on automatic. The bullets are a little weak, but they can be fired so fast that it doesn't really become a problem. They can also be downloaded with abilities that Axl takes off his enemies, making them even more lethal.

Special Powers: Copy Shot: Using his guns, Axl can fire a bright yellow ball at his enemies. It flies to them, gets their DNA, and comes back to Axl. He can then assume the enemy's form for a short while. However, if he defeats a Maverick and personally download their data, their DNA will stay in his databanks forever, allowing him to access them any time he wants for as long as he wants.

Other: (Did you want to say a last word or something?)

Default Re: [SU]MegaMan X: Master of Puppets

Name: Ashley Vanden

Age: 21

Appearance: Ashley, as you can see, happens to be stuck in a body that makes her look like she's still about 16, after an accident in her childhood landed her in a mostly robotic body. Needless to say, she's a cute young girl with pale skin covered in golden freckles, long dark red hair, and green eyes(yes, that's different from the pic), that scream she's older than you think. She tends to wear dresses with shorts under tham or your average pants with anything black topwise, as well as black combat boots. She can usually be found with her laptop and a cable hooked into the back of her neck leading to it or her own special monitor, which looks like a pair of wraparound sunglasses like these, but in black with a silvery lens, which links up with her touch sense so that she doesn't need a mouse, she just makes people think she's mental because she taps at air all the time.

Personality: Ashley's a total computer genius, end of story. Due to this, she's not the most social person, preferring to chill out on her computer and talk with Tsubasa while she does her reasearch and assignments, which mostly seem to be trying to locate possible bases for the Mavericks, and attempting to find an alternative way to rescue victims from the puppeteers without blowing their heads off, something she and Tsubasa are having a load of trouble with. As of now they have no solution, and it frustrates Ashley immensely, while Tsubasa continually tries to calm her down. She can't stand feeling useless, and whe she get mad enough, she goes out to join the fighting.

Ashley is not the kind of person you want to tick off on purpose, having a mostly robotic body has enhanced everything on her, especially her strength. Taking karate classes and joining in on buster training when she got too frustrated to work has made Ashley a very deadly force. Combined with her frustration about being "useless", she's not the kind of girl you want to screw with, and she makes it very well known.

History: Ashley grew up in a household of tecchies that raised her up to be just the same, being her parents only child. When she was sixteen, though, she was in a major accident involving a derailed train that robbed her father of his leg and seriously injured her body to the point there was no question she was going to die unless something was done, and fast. It was then that one of the doctors suggested trying to create a robotic form of her body to try and keep her alive. Immediately she was moved over to a basic reploid body with some quick adjustments made to it to keep her from dying and work on a more permanent and suitable body model for her began. It was completed about two weeks after her accident, and what was salvageable of her(mostly her brain and the important stuff, the rest of her organs were taken from donors) was moved into her more permanent body, which was an almost perfect recreation of her sixteen year-old self, only one problem: it was deemed to dangerous to attempt another transplant, so she's stuck looking sixteen for the rest of her life.

After a long few years of homeschooling and having to get used to her new body, Ashley returned to normal life--or as normal as she could get. Her computer genius landed her a job at a computer and technology design company, where she spent her days racking up money and tankering around to make gadgets of her own--like her moniter sunglasses. Her young appearance caused many of her coworkers not to take her seriously, though, and it bugged her that no one wanted to be seen with her, viewing her as the "repliod/human freak", until she met Tsubasa. She met the AI after opening an e-mail containing her data, or what was left of it after being attacked by a nasty computer virus. Putting her tinkering aside, Ashley decided to use up her free tim to restore the AI to full health, forging a deep bond with them. It was only after her restoration that Ashley realized that the AI she'd worked so hard to restore could not remember her own name, so Ashley gave her the name Tsubasa, and the two hit it off from there.

Ashley was working with Tsubasa when the puppeteers attack the first time, and was stuck in her office. Worrying for her AI friend's safety, Ashley loaded Tsubasa into a storage device in her body and escaped--or so they thought. The two were fleeing from the building when they were surrounded by Puppets and they were closing in when a group of Maverick hunters rescued their skins. After the fact she learned that both her parents had been killed, and Ashley practically begged them to let her and Tsubasa join the fight against the Puppeteers, and the Maverick Hunters, dimishing in number allowed the two to join in to do whatever they could, most of which was computer work. Not that either minds.

Species: Human, though she has a robotic body, kinda like a cyborg.

Side: Maverick Hunters

Weapons(s): Ashley tends to fight with a scythe-like saber, which many have dubbed the "A-Scythe". It consists of a large rod that has a blade mad foe the same stuff saber blade are made of, funny enough, it's of Ashley's own design.

Special Powers: Increased strength- Ashley has increased strength that rivals that of Reploids due to the fact she basically has the body of a Reploid, but she's had imrpovements made to her body that have increased her arm strength and speed.

'Net access-Ashley can basically access the internet from anywhere so long as she has her nifty pair of sunglasses, from there she can call in Tsubasa to do some serious damage to computer systems.

Other: Constantly talking to and AI that dwells in her computers known as Tsubasa.

Name: Tsubasa

Age: (This isn't really required for a Reploid or AI, since they can live forever :P)

Appearance: Tsubasa was named by Ashley because of her wings(Tsubasa is the Japanese word for wings, originally she was supposed to be called sin, but you've heard that arguement, so moving on...) and angelic appearance, which she's had for as long as she can remember, which isn't very far back, but she's never changed her appearance over the time she's been with Ashley. She wears a dress that is mostly white, with indigo designs and a piece of silver chest armor with boots to match her dress. She has plae skin as well as indigo eyes and blonde hair, she tends to remind people of a child.

Personality: Tsubasa is surprisingly shy in spite her childish appearance, and doesn't really try to talk to anyone other than Ashley. She's a genius at hacking, made more deadly with Ashley's help, and she seems to enjoy tearing down other people's systems, especially those of enemies. Around people she likes, she will act more social and actually try to strike up conversation in Ashley's absence, though there are few she really likes, so she's more likely to hide. She tends to act more freely around ashley, really opening up, which can sometimes make her horrendously difficult to get much of a favor out of when Ashely's not around to repeat the request. Aside from this, Tsubasa is a big fan of creating expiramental viruses meant to tear apart systems completely, possibly a side affect from being nearly killed by a virus herself.

She commonly spends much of her time these days running test sims and doing research, though, or will attend Ashley to combat practice for something to do. It has been found that when agitated or excited enough, Tsubasa herself can actually override Ashley's body control for a short time, which can either be an advantage or a disadvantage, depending on the timing and where she's at. Ashley tends to upload Tsubasa to her body's interal computer ever since the first puppet attack since both have this anxiety about being seperated from each other.

History: Tsubasa doesn't really remember much about herself up until two years ago, when she was hit hard by a computer virus and barely managed to get to Ashley's email inbox in time. Luckily Ashley had some pretty great firewalls up on her computer, otherwise the virus probably would have annihilated her entire system. It was shortly after she sent herself to basically a random email address that Ashley opened the file containing her and began work on the AI after realizing just how damaged Tsubasa's data was. Throughout most of this process, Tsubasa was in and out of "conciousness", she has memory of periods of understanding, and periods of time where she understood nothing at all. When Ashley finally fixed her completely, both realized Tsubasa could not remember her name, nor anything else about herself. Ashley readily offered to let her stay on her computer, which Tsubasa took up, having nowhere else to go.

She was talking to Ashley while she was at work when the first attack happened, and allowed herself to be loaded into Ashley's system when the girl voiced her opinion about the AIs safety and they escaped. Or so they thought, while running, they were surrounded by puppets. Tsubasa still thinks back on this as the time in her "life" she was scared the most, though they were saved by Maverick Hunters. She dwelled in Ashley's body storage system for a few days following the chaos, and learned the same time Ashley did about the deaths of her parents. It was then that they both decided that they wanted to help the resistance so that this whole ordeal would be over as quickly as possible. since then they've been busy with whatever the Maverick hunters have been throwing at them.

Species: AI

Side: Maverick Hunters

Weapons(s): N/A, other than her hacking ablility, and that's not really a weapon

Special Powers: Hacking, Tsubasa excels at hacking her enemies systems(especially tearing through firewalls) to get to the most important part of her enemies systems and dumping her latest virus project in the middle of it to run free while she herself is immune to almost all viruses since Ashley fixed her up. She's also pretty handy and getting and altering data on the sly as long as she has the internet.

Other: N/A

Hehe, I like the hybrid robot/human Winter, makes this place a lot more interesting. >:)

Name: Infinity Zero (called Inze to avoid confusion with Zero)

Age: Four years

Appearance: Yep, even the wings and helmet Inze's design was crafted almost entirely by herself. Before she looked like a complete robot, but she favored the human look much better, so she reprogrammed some her coding so she looked like a human. Often she wears a red visor over eyes, which her helmet can switch on and off. Her wings are not displayed all the time, and her helmet also activates them. Inside the heel of her boots are pop-out blades which she can use if she is disarmed, and longer one can pop out of her wrists

Personality: Inze is playful and cheery, and never talks when she can yell. Those who have seen her or don't know her very well call her pushy, bossy, rude, smart-mouthed, and a veriety of others that more or less mean the same thing. Anyone who bothered to get close enough to her would realize tha's it's all a game, at least to Inze it is. Her yelling and insulting are a game, and if you yell at her back then you're playing it. Despite her acting, if you get close enough to Inze where she considers you a friend, you have no only a powerful ally but someone who will be loyal to you, no matter what.

One of her favorite activities is annoying people, and for some reason she seems especially able to get on Zero's nerves because she's so unserious all the time. She like to play with him, and occasionally they get into heated arguments. Her best friends is Axl though, because they both find the other hilarious and Axl is just glad that there's someone else in the base with a sense of humor. Despite her flaws, Inze's one of the fastest hackers the Hunters have, and it is usually her downloaded into a computer to get something.

History: Infinity Zero was created to be the best hacking system that the Maverick Hunters could come up with, and her name is deprived from the fact that she can go anywhere and do anything as long as there something electronic nearby. Her original purpose was to be uploaded into the CPUs of Mavericks and rewrite their coding and systems in order to "fix" them. If the Maverick had a glitch or problem, she could subdue them until they were repaired. If it was the Maverick virus, she could erase the virus with some work (she had no effect on the other two viruses, and they actually damaged her). And if the Reploid were a Maverick because of free will, Inze could have rewritten their data or wiped their memory so they didn't even know why they were Maverick in the first place. at first this went well, and Maverick numbers were decreasing. But humans called this act inhumane, saying that Inze was basically robbing someone of their free will, which was a shining display of how much humans and Reploids had come to live together. The law was pressed onto the Hunters, and the government wanted to have Inze deleted. however, the Hunters said that Inze was only doing what she was programmed to do, and she didn't know any better. After a few months of tangling with the law, it was agreed that Inze would be allowed to function, but she could never rewrite a Reploid's CPU again, whether they be normal or Maverick.

Inze didn't exactly mind all that much, she just didn't know what all the fuss was really about and was greatly confused. She was transported from the battlefield to the computer rooms where she spent her days with the techies trying to locate any Maverick hideouts, whereabouts of Sigma, etc. She became quite well-known and many liked her, and she was infamous for her constant upbeat nature and her love for yelling and arguing. She was most often called upon because she could get work done the fastest, and she could leap between computer terminals and different systems as easily as one walks through a door. Sometimes she would help technicians rewrite a few coding files on Maverick CPUs, but Inze was never directly responsible for any of it so no one said anything.

When the Puppets attacked, it had just been Inze's luck that she had not been at the Hunter HQ at the time, which had been the safest place to be. She had been relaying some information to a smaller outpost that specifically a requested an AI to come down and help them. In the middle of it, there was suddenly a ton of screaming coming from outside and there were people beating on the doors and walls. In confusion, one of the Maverick hunters opened the door to see what was going on and was immediately grabbed by a mob of bloodthirsty Puppets. With the doors open, more Puppets rushed in, some of them Reploids and some human, all of them trying to rip the Hunters apart. Inze watched in horror as one hunter was help down and some odd, cybernetic worm slithered up and burrowed into his helmet. After a moment it disappeared, and the Reploid stopped struggling. Then, quite calmly, he got up, drew his Buster, and went to the computer Inze was in. In a sudden fit of terror, Inze fled, hiding herself in an e-mail and e-mailing herself back to the Hunter's base as the computer terminal she was in was destroyed. The Hunter's were relieved to have Ize back, and soon afterwards they set her to work on locating the bases where Sigma hid his keys in hopes of stopping the invasion before it got too far.

Species: AI

Side: Maverick Hunter

Weapons(s): Inze does not necessarily have "weapons" per se. There are viruses and other nasty programs in cyberspace that she does do battle with, hence her sword, wrists blades, and heel blades. However, if she wants to do damage outside of computers, she will have to upload herself into an electronic device. Meaning, she can take control of a tank, Ride Armor, a hoverbike, a sentry gun, or even a Reploid if she is given permission first. If she is downloaded into the main computer of any base, then you're pretty much screwed because she could control everything related to the base then.

Special Powers: Being an AI, Inze can rewrite her data and others' data, to where she can wipe memories from a Reploid and hack into computers. She can jump into any computer terminal and just as easily switch computers. Her best skills are hacking and zooming around cyberspace.

Other: She's called Inze because some of the Hunters thought that Infinity Zero was too long, and it stuck.

Ashley's always been part robot and part computer, I just had to get creative this time. And I'll admit I had fun making her look younger, leads to more stress for her.
