I agree. Bobby Cox is one of the greatest managers all time, and he deserves to go out with a bang. I think the Braves have a legitimate shot at making it to the World Series

2010 was an awesome season for Minnesota. We had the best second half record of any team in baseball, all without a top five reliever (Joe Nathan) and a top five lefty hitter (Justin Morneau). Delmon Young finally reached his potential in July. Jesse Crain had a great comeback from surgery. Pavano, Liriano, and Duensing all had great seasons. I don't know if we can beat New York, but if we don't, I'm still very happy to have watched the Twins this year.

What are your predictions for the playoffs?

San Francisco 1-3 Atlanta - Would be awesome to see a Twins/Braves WS. Coincidentally, Bobby Cox and Chipper Jones were with the Braves back in 1991 when they lost to Minnesota in the World Series.
Philadelphia 3-0 Cincinnati - I like the Reds a lot more than the Phillies, but Philadelphia's rotation is the best in baseball.

Minnesota 3-2 New York - This pick is purely from a fan standpoint, of course.
Tampa Bay 2-3 Texas - I'm thinking Vlad has a memorable performance in this series.

</3

Rays>Rangers
Twins>Yankees
Braves>Giants
Reds>Phillies

Though the Reds got swept in 4 games in Philly earlier, all but one were 1-0 losses, and the other they blew a 6 run lead in the ninth. I believe our bullpen is better now, and we've beaten Oswalt twice this year already. Go Reds

God I hate the Yankees. At least we have favorable pitching matchups the next two games in Pavano and Duensing.

I really wish I could have seen Halladay's no-hitter but I had class. 2nd ever in postseason MLB history. That being said, I'm hoping that Cincy can come back. I really don't like the Phillies.

Finally, I might be able to get my dream matchup in the WS: Braves vs. Rays. But tbh, as long as either the phillies or yankees don't make it, I'll be happy. Last year when it was Phillies vs. Red Sox(that was it wasn't?) I could of cared less who would of won. I just really dispise those three clubs. >_>
