Lastly, I found this amazing college baseball play that happened earlier this week. The baserunner does a frontflip over the catcher at home plate to score a run.

I think Howard will start declining in about 2-3 seaons. He looks pretty good so far.
But Liriano's slider is killer.

Francisco Liriano is starting on my brithday tomorrow. I really hope he can throw some more shutout innings, not only to keep the streak alive, but our bullpen is acting up as of late. Ron, how are those Nats doing? I don't know a thing about them.

Nationals are doing actually pretty good. Our record is 13-11 but it's a big improvement from last year. At this point last May, we only had 5 wins.
Aside from todays game against the Marlins, our bullpen has been pretty consistently good.

Good, I really hope the Nats can win the NL East, I'm not much of a Mets or Phillies fan. Once Stephen Strasburg comes up to the majors, Washington should have the foundation for a great rotation.

Yea, Strasburg is preparing to go up to Triple-A. He is due to be called up to the majors in Early-mid June. Our last 2 games against the Marlins we had our similar pitching problems and defense problems from the start of the year.

Looks like the Blue Jays beat up on them Yankees

Nationals got a pretty good start from Atilano, but once again the bullpen couldn't hold up and gave up 3 runs in the 6th,7th, and 8th innings. On a good note, Stephen Strasburg is making his Major league debut next Tuesday against the Pirates.

2 out of 3 of my favorite teams look sharp. Rays are just killing and so has the Braves(but I think half the reason for that is the phil's injuries).

I'm actually going to go see a Braves game later this month

Man the rays are not that good man I'm telling you its just they got a strong bullpen and play well on defense and hit when we they need too. Now the yankees are slacking we need to start winning games and it starts with the bullpen the pitchers haven't been holding up lately so they need to help are hitting out.

Wut? He left down 2-1, and the bullpen only gave up 3 in the 8th. It's not like he was in line for the win to begin with.

Yeah that whole best record in baseball thing doesn't matter at all.

On another note, going to the Reds Nats game tomorrow. I was hoping Leake would pitch then, rather than today

Compared to his other starts, this start was very impressive for him. Considering it was against a power-filled lineup like the Reds. His pitch location and Sinker were right on tonight, besides some mistakes.
And DUDE, I was gonna go to that game tomorrow since Nationals Ballpark is only a hour from my house! But unfortunately, I got work. Hope you have fun though. Stammen is starting for the Nats, I forgot who's starting for the Reds.

You seriously need to check up on your facts. The Rays obviously are one of the best teams in baseball, and their first place in the toughest division in the MLB. And how does the Yankees pitchers help their hitting out?

EDIT: I love how Matt Capps ruined the game vs the Reds for us. Motherfukjsadlkfjlksdjflkjsdfljdsalfkjasd.

Baseball needs more love

Reds are still in first place and Joey Votto is definitely MVP so far. Oh and Aroldis Chapman got clocked throwing 105 mph. Can't wait until he's called up

Votto is a solid NL MVP in my mind. And Miguel Cabrera is a solid AL MVP as well.

And Strasburg going down just killed the Nats hope of having fans come to their games.

Just finished watching a really good game between the Red Sox and Rays, Rays won 3-5. It was actually entertaining, which is a surprise to me since I lost a little interest in baseball. But that game put a dent in Boston's playoff hopes....

I'm hoping the Braves can hold on and win the NL East, it will be a nice going away present for Bobby.
