Easter Mission : The Bad Egg Hunt!

Welcome, brave Trainers. As you guys know, recently, there has been an increase in reports and accidents about newly hatched Pokemon within the Park. Neither we've not found what's the primary cause of this, nor do we know who is behind all this. Thus, The Rangers seek your aid and alliance. Together as Trainer and Ranger, I'm sure we can solve this dire situation, and help out Pokemon in need!

Current Objectives:
- Find the cause of the abnormalities
- Stop the cause of these accidents
- Help out Pokemon in need
- ???

Guidelines/Info:
- Teamwork is highly suggested. (You'll be accessed highly on this, and depending how well you guys co-ordinate, you may receive better prizes at the end)
- Updates will occur once every 48 hours. (Eeveedude is helping me out, and thankfully, he shares a Timezone exactly opposite of mine, so either of us will take note of any updates needed)
- Almost in every RP, Rangers determine what happens/etc, but in this Mission, you Trainers get to decide. No matter how weird things get inside the Park during this Mission, its up to you(individual or group work) to decide what to do. We Rangers will hint you once in a while, but not always.
- The last Objective is currently locked and unknown, and will only be publicised until you've went a certain progress in this Mission, and have done a certain something. :p
- Rangers will inform you of any major events/etc that might occur in the park during this Mission, so keep an eye out, and do not miss out on any information the Ranger passes to you. Sometimes they might spill rubbish, some are very vital. You may never know.
- I've also provided a Small Map below, and that's where this Mission begins. It just so happens to be erupted west of the location you guys picked for this Mission, Mt Oktori. As we make any deep progression/unlock any huge event/cleared an Objective, markings/sorts will be placed in the Map. (for the funz)

Chapter 1 : Mission Begins!

Trainer/s : Cenon Flair, Nel Darth, Iridium, Ragna Vortex
Ranger/s : Trainer17, Eeveedude

The breeze whistled through the turning leaves of the entire National Park. A blue sparrow-like Pokemon flew anxiously above the tops of the willows. It seemed like a frail little Taillow, finding its way back to its nest, which was perched on top the highest of all willows. Despite its little wings, with enough energy, it mustered its way up and rested. The sun beat down and light pooled peacefully on the flat, worn ground.

"Mmmmm....."

Ranger Haru took in a deep breath, as he opened his light blue eyes, taking a scan of the entire National Park. It's been a long time since he was away for a special Mission elsewhere, and had returned due to a problem that has been reported to him by his mobile; courtesy of the Head Ranger, Sarah. Haru took a quick peek at his Mobile again, to take note of the very message which brought him back here.

Ranger Haru,

I'm not sure where you are right now, but we need your help. We're also gathering Pokemon Trainers to aid us along. Yes, it is that dire and serious. Please get back to the National Park immediately. Along with you, Ranger Hyacinth will be heeding this Mission as well.

Usually, Haru would be the only Ranger to defy Sarah, and pretty much not be bothered about it. But Hyacinth. That name alone was enough, to make him think otherwise. The only Ranger besides Haru, who is of the same genre. A top class Ranger. There has not been a single time, where both Hyacinth and Haru were called forth to the same Mission. Although they were each assigned with Trainers of their own, Haru knew it was really urgent this time, and he had some personal scores to settle with Hyacinth in a way or two. Immediately flicking through the rest of his messages, he came across a list. A list of Trainers who'd be accompanying him in this Mission.

"Cenon Flair, Nel Darth, Iridium, Ragna Vortex...Pretty weird names, but heck, this bunch will have to do. But where are they? They should be here right now. Sigh."

Haru left out a sigh and looked around. There was a particular rock perched in a whacky manner, allowing his butt to have a comfortable rest on it. Not to be pestered by himself, Haru reached into his backpockets and withdrew a Pokeball. His grasp was tight, as he flung the ball into the air, it broke loose, and out came a Gallade.

"Gall....."

Gallade appeared to be calm and stern, as it had a light landing. Being a part Psychic type Pokemon, it let itself float about in midair, as Haru put his left hand on his chin, waiting for the Trainers assigned to him...

OOC : Phew, finally got that up. I have to say, this is my most proudest moment as an Elite Ranger.

Ranger Outpost

"Yaaaaaaaawn~"

Cenon's mouth opened wide as he walked towards the outpost. He stretched his arms above his head as he made a step and placed it back to his pocket. He had just been asleep from a ride at a ship as he made his way here. It had been a long way from his home to the National Park, inducing him to sleep. At least, the rest he got from sleeping would provide him energy to finish the mission.

As Cenon neared the building, his Persian popped out of her Pokeball and walked beside her trainer. It looks like that the feline had also built up excitement towards the action she'll meet. It isn't obvious from her face, but Cenon an just tell by her occasional flickering of her tail and her rounded ears' twitching. She even let out a purr as she saw the Ranger Outpost being nearer and nearer.

"At last!" exclaimed Cenon, who stopped by the front of the Outpost.

He glanced around, trying to look for the other members of the group, as well as the two rangers accompanying them throughout the mission. Without doubt, he saw no people around him, until Persian tugged his pants with her teeth. A person with white hair who seated himself on a rock and his Gallade was spotted by Persian on a far side from their position. Without thinking, he approached the guy.

"Hi there!"

I got off from the streamer and walked towards the Ranger Outpost.

As I kept walking, my mind travelled down memory lane.

A couple of days back I had received an e-mail informing me that there was some strange incidents happening at the National Park and requested me to join the Park Rangers in helping to fix the problem.

I had sent my affirmative reply without any reservations, ad the next day another e-mail awaited me. I had received it so many times that I even remembered what it said:

Lately, there's been an ominous increasing in accidents relating newborn Pokemon. The Island Outposts are overworked with the treatments of these Pokemon that, for reasons we are yet to find out, are hatching way quickly than intended, resulting in most of the cases in underdevelopping of their vital organs and wild inconsistencies in power control often resulting in more casualties.

We Rangers are trying to investigate the cause of these accidents, but the sheer numbers of the casualties keep most of our staff from doing an adequate research job. Therefore, we open the Park to trainers that may wish to help us out with this.

We would like your assistance in helping us to find the cause of the abnormalities, stop the cause of these accidents and help out Pokemon in need. You will also be receiving an e-ticket for the steamer to the Park shortly.

The ticket had arrived within the next few hours, and I had immediately set off for the Park.

The Park looked unusually quiet as there were no cheerful Pokemon Trainers buzzing about, waiting for their turn to go into the Park. I glanced at the small map I had received, and headed towards the place where I had been asked to report.

There was no one around except for two people, who were introducing each other.

I walked towards them too and said, "Hi, I'm Iridium. And you two would be…?"

I stood at the grassy meadows as I gazed upwards at the clear blue sky. I was thinking about the current mission that I participated in. The thought of being in an extreme mission where we, the normal trainers, get to control what or where we will go makes me feel like this would be one tough mission, but a fun one. I must not waste any more time, the mission might start at any minute.

“Okay, so off to the designated place I go!” I exclaimed as I tossed a shiny white and red Pokeball in the air. It released a blinding white light that took form of a white, almost fat bird that had blue and red triangles on its body. Togekiss was hapilly soaring in the air as the gentle winds touched its three feathers. As I begin my long walk towards the park, I started to think about the upcoming events and missions that the rangers might possible give to us. Sure, it could be a nerve-wracking one, but at least I could say that it would be a lot of fun as well; nevertheless, I shouldn’t get my hopes up until I experience what will happen.

“Here we are, Togekiss. The National Park!” I said as I pointed to Togekiss the beautiful landscapes of the National Park, the perfect home for the wild Pokemon. As we made our way towards the Ranger Outpost, I saw a weird green Pokemon that stood beside one person. That green Pokemon had some oddly white feet, while in front of the owner of the Gallade was a whitish cat that had a sparkling red gem on its forehead. As well as two other trainers near the Persian.

“Oh no, I must be late… better hurry, Togekiss!” I rushly said as I made my way towards the seen crowd. Since I was running, I almost got tripped by a tiny pebble, which I couldn’t have noticed because I wouldn’t concentrate on almost-microscopic things at the moment. Finally, I finally finished making my path towards the crowd.

"Wake up, son. I thought you had something on today?" my mother called out, tugging at my pants as she tried to wake me up from my deep slumber. Indeed, I was supposed to go on a mission this very day and meet up with my team in the early morning, of which I obviously was going to be late for.

After that little but irritating tug, I woke up,looked at the little clock by the side of my bed and stared at where the pointers were. It was already half an hour past the agreed meeting time.

"Holy! PARK! My Park mission!" I shouted out uncontrollably as I scrambled as fast as I could towards the toilet to wash up my face.

"Where are my balls?! I need my balls, my bag!!" I called out, looking at my mother, expecting her to somehow know where all my things were at. Fortunately for me, I had packed all those stuff last night or my room would look like a complete wreck now.

"Bye Mum, I'm... off!" I said, putting on my socks and shoes and heading out for the exit.

Once out, the glaring sunlight greeted me. For a split second, I had to cover my eyes which still needed some getting used to against such bright lights. Nevertheless, clear blue skies were still better and more favourable than rainy weathers during a park mission.

"Come out, Drack! I need your help!" I said, tossing my ball into the air and summoning a orange dragon which stood on two feet out. On first look, its small wings look like nothing impressive. Yet they pack enough power to lift this orange burly thing high up into the air.

"I'm pretty late. So let's set off, shall we?" I said climbing atop Dragonite's back and looking at my house again, expecting my mother to be standing behind the windows. True enough, I saw her there and waved at her to bid her farewell as Drack released it roar and took to the skies...

Several minutes later with Dragonite's airborne speed, we arrived at the place. There were not many people around, yet from the corner of my eyes, I did happen to spot a group of people and together with their Pokemons standing around together, engaged in conversations with one another.

"There is our team, Drack. Let's hope it'll all turn out well," I continued, beckoning Dragonite to descend upon the group of people...

Spring. It was a largely welcomed season to Lance seeing as it meant that he had survived the long, cold winter and now Summer was just around the corner. Shining red tulips scattered around the field greeted him as he and his purple partner walked toward a group of people. Lance knew that it was an honor to have been chosen to assist a head Ranger in a mission. He just hoped that he would be able to prove himself helpful.

My Espeon was much calmer than I as he trotted lightly across the fresh grass. It didn't seem to mind the sudden call to action and the abruptness of it all didn't faze Espeon as it did Lance.

Finally we arrived at the group and before plunging into the group, I looked around at the oddly created plants. They formed a semi circle around us and created an eerie feeling that something was little odd.

"Hi guys, I'm Lance and I'll be assisting Haru on the Ranger side of this mission. It seems like everyone is here so if you don't mind Haru, I'll explain to the trainers a bit more of our situation." Upon Haru nodding his head for me to continue, I did so. "As many of you know, you're all here to discover and help fix the abnormalities occurring here in this area. I'd tell you exactly what these are but I'm afraid I can't. What I can tell you is that you all have your work cut out for you. Now we'd better get going, we've got a lot of ground to cover."

Having no clue where to go first, Lance scanned the horizon and decided that they would check out a nearby pond. I led them briskly to the small hole of water and looked around. Nothing strange seemed to be happening there. A few Poliwag were racing each other back and forth across the surface of the pond and nothing much else. "Okay guys, nothing here, next place we'll go to is a large tre... Hey guys, look at that, it's a nest of Pokemon eggs." Under one of the randomly large bushes there was a large nest of Pokemon eggs. Each one the same size. Before Lance could say anything, all but one of the eggs began hatching and emerging from each of the four eggs were four very angry Numel. Lance turned to the trainers and said, "Guys you'd better put your Aura Readers on, something isn't quite right. You guys should probably get ready to battle too because these chubby little Numel look like they'll charge at any second."

The company of six people that had collected in the area took a few minutes to introduce each other, then without much ado, we set off for the purpose for which he had come.

There were four of us trainers, and two Rangers who would be assisting and guiding us through our adventure. There wasn't much talk among us, as we had merely met each other a few minutes ago. However, I was confident that each one of the persons would be willing to offer his best to save the Park and its inhabitants.

Each of my fellow team members had a Pokemon outside their balls, walking alongside, except me. I really didn't believe in getting Pokemon out of their balls when they weren't needed. Still, everyone had their own opinions and I respected it.

"Okay guys, nothing here, next place we'll go to is a large tre... Hey guys, look at that, it's a nest of Pokemon eggs."

Our gaze wandered to a small nest where four small eggs lay motionless.

"There doesn't seem to be any problem with those four," I said. "Maybe they're alri…"

Before I could finish, the four eggs started popping open, and four young Numel hatched out of them. They looked like something was troubling them, and looked ready to almost rip us apart into shreads with their small teeth.

"Argh, I think I spoke too soon," I said.

"Guys you'd better put your Aura Readers on, something isn't quite right. You guys should probably get ready to battle too because these chubby little Numel look like, they'll charge at any second."

I nodded, and quickly pulled out the small blue Aura Reader out of my bag. The others were doing the same, except the fact that our Aura Readers were differently coloured.

A few pushes on the buttons on the Reader, and it was ready. However, I also pulled out a Pokeball from my pocket, and called out of my Togekiss,

As the ball clicked open, a large white dove swooped out, happy to be able to spread it wings.

"Alright, Togekiss, looks like we've got some trouble here," I said in a low voice. "These Numel seem to have some abnormalities, and they look really aggressive. I want you to be as alert as possible, and be ready to attack or defend on my first command. Is that okay?" I asked, gently stroking the bird's feathers.

Togekiss seemed to nod and smile, indicating that she had understood the instructions well. She hovered above the ground, extremely cautious and alert.

OOC : Just to avoid confusion/etc. Don't make your Pokemon attack. Just put on your Aura Reader, and send out your Pokemon. That's all. Try to be creative/etc when you are "preparing" to battle :3 That's all for now.

"What in the world?" I said out loud, after seeing the four newly-hatched baby Numels baring their teeth ferociously at us. Babies were supposed to be born pure and innocent yet these four had some killing intent in them. Only now did I realize the severity of this mission.

I watched as Iridium pulled out from his bag a small blue Aura Reader out of his bag and a small Pokeball from his pocket, of which he summoned a Togekiss out of it. "So he has that little reader thing too..." I thought to myself, since I had one too myself which was of a different color.

"Alright, Togekiss, looks like we've got some trouble here. These Numels seem to have some abnormalities, and they look really aggressive. I want you to be as alert as possible, and be ready to attack or defend on my first command. Is that okay?" Iridium said to his hovering Togekiss.

"It's your turn now, Drack. Come on out!" I called out, picking a ball from my waist belt and tossing it into the air. Amidst a flash of red light, the silhouette of a human size orange burly beast could be seen. Then as the ball closed and returned to my hand, what was visible now was an orange burly dragon standing on both its feet. There were two thin feelers-like thing that extended out from its head and it had two tiny wings behind its back.

"Discipline these naughty little kids for me, will you?" I said, grinning away and getting the red Aura Reader I had in my bag and turning it on. Dragonite stamped its right foot and let loose a loud roar towards the Numels before standing in a intimidating position on the ground and waiting for further instructions.

I looked at the crowd as I saw two more peopl arrive at the scene. The penultimate person who arrived had a large cream dragon with him, knowing that its a Dragonite. And the last one who arrived at the crowd would be the ranger’s assitant, one who will aid us on our missions as we progress on at the National Park.

“Hi guys, I’m Lance and I’ll be assisting Haru on the Ranger side of this mission.” He talked his way into the mission as I just stared blankly at his eyes, still confused of what could possible happen later in our missions.

“It seems like everyone is here so if you don’t mind Haru, I’ll explain to the trainers a bit more of our situation,” He added as he looked at the other ranger, who nodded in approvement so that Lance could continue on.

“As many of you know, you’re all here to discover and help fix the adnormalities occuring here in this area. I’d tell you exactly what these are but I’m afraid I can’t. What I can tell you is that you all have work cut out for you. Now we’d better get going, we’ve got a lot of ground to cover,” Lance explained to us. Amused and confused, but mostly confused. My head was thinking that as if Lance was just going back and forth with his explanation, for me at least. He didn’t explained the mission in general for us, which would be hard to find out for ourselves.

Lance led us into the horizon, then towards the nearby pond. He slowly checked the small hole of water as I stood my way at the back, watching whatever activities might occur later on in the missions. For now, there seemed to be nothing happening at all; some Poliwag were racing at the pond. This couldn’t get much boring than ever. I think I’m starting to doubt myself why did I even joined this mission.

“Okay guys nothing here,” He said. At the back I could hear him, I felt like I want to jump in approval, but I don’t really want to make a scene at the moment. After all, this was just the beginning of everything, no need to rush ourselves. “Next place we’ll go to a large tre… Hey guys, look at that, it’s a nest of Pokemon eggs,” He added. One of the large bushes near the pond were four large eggs that quietly sat on the grassy meadows.

“Whoa, is it just me or are the eggs shaking?” I said in fear as I watched the eggs shake one by one. Four angry Numel emerged from the eggs—things were starting to get bad.

“Guys you’d better put your Aura Readers on, something isn’t quite right. You guys should probably get ready for battle too because these chubby little Numel look like they’ll charge at any second,” Lance instructed, as I automatically followed him without any further hesitations. I pressed a few buttons on the Reader and it started to make some weird noises—I think it’s ready for use.

“Okay Togekiss, you know what to do right? If they attack, we attack as well. But if they stalled their way towards us, then we’ll do just the same, you hear me?” I instructed my Togekiss, as it nodded in approvement. We were both ready, we waited for other commands Lance or the other ranger would instruct us to do—hopefully they would instruct us.
