My team for Heart Gold and Soul Silver is the same as my team from the original Gold, Silver, and Crystal. I know, I'm boring. I prefer to use Pokemon that are indiginous to the region when I build a team. So with no further ado, here is my team:
CHIKORITA, BAYLEEF, MEGANIUM
CYNDAQUIL, QUILAVA, TYPHLOSION
TOTODILE, CROCONAW, FERALIGATR
MAREEP, FLAAFFY, AMPHAROS
LARVITAR, PUPITAR, TYRANITAR
Formerly Sith_Lord_Darth_Krushya. I turned to the light side so I could be of better use to the community. I'm a Jedi Knight. My character's name is Goen-Tog Etya. First name, Goen-Tog (pronounced: Go-in, Tahg.) Last name Etya, (pronounced, et-yah). Play on words for "goin' ta get ya." You can either call me "Goen-Tog" or "Master Etya." LOL. Have a nice day.
Mamoswine Lv43(not traded at all)
well to begin with, my average complain @typhlosion, mamoswine, ampharos and hypno: Too many attacks of the same type, for example: typhlosion got 3/4 fire type moves, of which two has no additional effects(except for the usual burn chance)
Now, to good critic:) Jolteon has a good array of moves, all physical but unfortunatly(I didn't know this) jolteon has only 65 base attack and 110 special attack so naturally it would be better to have special moves. Dig and quick attack are good opportunity moves when used right with some prediction. Ho-oh is good with its recovery move, in case you don't have potions or are using it for competitive battling.
So I've decided to try out this "Nuzlocke" thing ^.^
I haven't started with Totodile since... Crystal, I think..?
Any Pokémon that faints is considered dead, and must be released.
The player may only catch the first Pokémon encountered in each area, and none else.
If the first Pokémon encountered faints or flees, there are no second chances.
Pokemon must be nicknamed. All Pokemon that aren't nicknamed must be released.
No running from Wild Pokemon unless my Pokemon is/are at a 5 Lv disadvantage or Health is in Orange/Red.
You can catch Legendaries, but they cannot be used in-battle.
You are allowed to keep Pokemon that faint while Battling the E4+C, just to make things a lil easier.
New Bark Town - Violet City
Started and chose Totodile, whom I named Croc. We easily KO'd our Rival's Chicorita and named him GrlHair (lol). Managed to catch a Sentret who I named Till and she's proving to be a huge asset! Then I captured a Pidgey on Route 30, named Nips and advanced, slaughtering all the Youngsters with my overpowered rodent. Went into Dark Cave, hoping to find a Geodude to use against Falkner. We bumped into one, but Till KO'd it ;___; THEN we found a Bellsprout on Route 31 BUT HE DIED, TOO. So I got pissed and put Till in the back of my party, switching her with Nips, who, even at level 2, easily KO'd all of Bug Catcher Don's Pokemon :P Now we're in Violet City with the wind at our backs (pun intended)!!
