Stella stiffled a giggle as Charlie became captivated by Lopunny, the expression on his face was just too priceless to ignore. However the smile was wiped off her face when Lopunny used Charm again then followed up with a Fire Punch.

She turned to look at Charlie, who had been thrown back several feet by the Fire Punch, still a bit dazed. He didn't seem to be hurt too badly, which she considered good luck considering how powerful fire moves could be on a steel-bug type like Scizor.

"Snap out of it!" she exclaimed, snapping her fingers a few times in front of his face. Charlie blinked a couple of times then violently shook his head, jumping back up. He turned to his trainer, his expression practically asking "What's next?"

"I don't want you hitting Lopunny so hard that she faints, so use Agility and then Night Slash, but hold back a tiny bit." she said, and Charlie nodded and sped off towards Lopunny.

He moved so fast it was as if he was using Teleport. As he dashed forward, his claws began to emit a dark purple glow, and when he was several inches behind Lopunny he slashed, cutting through the air so fast that it could actually be heard.

Lopunny closed her eyes after she jumped away from Scizor, trying to focus instead of worrying about the bug-steel Pokemon. Her pompom hands started to glow with a powerful light and just as Scizor’s pincers started to glow purple.

The two attacks hit at the same time, creating a powerful explosion. Lopunny’s Focus Punch had been just a hair too late and the Rabbit Pokemon lay in a heap on the garden floor. Scizor had a bruise mark on his cheek, but otherwise seemed untouched. Scizor was victorious in this battle.

Ash opened his mouth to scold his Trainer on knocking out a wild Pokemon when the Lopunny started to stand up, slowly and awkwardly. Ash didn’t believe that the mild Scizor had purposefully done so much damage, especially after his Trainer had warned him. Night Slash had simply scored a critical hit and done extra damage.

“Now is your chance to catch it, if you want,” Ash said cheerfully. Lopunny fell down again, grimacing in pain. She stood back up again, her proud nature not allowing her to give up despite her pain.

“Now is your chance to catch it, if you want,” Ash said cheerfully.

"Alright, Charlie, you've done your job," she said, ushering for the Scizor to step back. It looked as if Lopunny didn't have much fight left in her, and another attack would probably knock the poor rabbit out completely, ruining Stella's chances of capturing it. The Scizor nodded and jumped back, watching Stella and the Lopunny intently.

She smiled and pulled a Superball out of her bag, expanding it to full size. Kissing the Pokeball for good luck, she tossed it at Lopunny, who was barely able to stand. It hit her on the head and cracked open, the red light sucking the rabbit in.

The ball dropped to the ground and wiggled...

Come on, come on, please work...she thought, crossing her fingers. Lopunny was incredibly tough and would be a great asset to her team.

The ball wiggled and wiggled again...

The Superball enclosed itself around the weakened Lopunny, encasing the Pokemon withing the Pokeball. Soon the light went out and it clicked, signaling the capture of Lopunny.

"Congrats on your first Park capture, Stella!" Ash said cheerfully.

Stella held her breath as the ball wiggled and wiggled. After what seemed like ages but was really only a few seconds, the light went out and the ball made the familiar 'ding' sound, signaling a capture.

"Congrats on your first Park capture, Stella!" Ash said cheerfully.

A bit speechless, Stella picked up the Superball and stared at it in her hand for a few minutes. Charlie fluttered over to where she was standing and tilted his head, confused as to what was going on.

Then suddenly she let out a big woop and started jumping up and down, doing a victory dance that consisted of a lot of hip wiggling and fist pumping.

"Yeaaah! Woo hoo! I finally caught you!" she hollered, dancing a bit more before tucking the ball safely away in her bag. She turned back to Charlie.

"You did great," she said to the Scizor, "so why don't you Roost and then we'll be on our way."

Charlie nodded and closed his eyes. He started to glow a faint white and for a minute or two he was deep in concentration as he began to heal his superficial wounds.

Stella looked over at Ash. "Where next?"

“Well, how about we just continue down this path?” Ash suggested casually. He and Stella walked just a few feet before there was a loud rustling in the trees. Ash turned, peering through the bushes to see a Treeko and Meganium eating the fruit from a low tree. Treeko was on top of Meganium, perched on the grass dinosaur’s head.

“What about one of these guys?” Ash asked, letting Stella look herself. The two Pokemon turned their heads towards the humans, curious.

Stella poked her head over the bushes to look at the two grass starters eating fruit from a tree.

“What about one of these guys?” Ash asked, and the Treeko and Meganium turned to look at her, just as curious as Ash was about what Stella would do.

She stood there for a moment, biting her lower lip deep in thought. Sceptile and Meganium were pretty decent Pokemon, but her roster was more based off of preference than power. This wasn't necessarily the best trait for a successful trainer to have, but it had worked for her so far so she didn't see the point in changing her strategy now.

"Nah, my Venusaur back home might get jealous," she said with a chuckle, then wondered how Izzie would react to Lopunny. She figured the two sassy rabbits would either hate each other with a passion or make a great team. She sighed. Oh well, I'll find out soon enough...

"Let's keep moving."

Ash grinned. “Fair enough,” he said musically as he backed away from the bushes and continued down the path. He hummed a tune that sounded oddly like ‘Elmo’s World’.

He stopped after a couple yard, motioning for Stella to come closer. Right in the middle of the path was a pink and cream Pokemon, sleeping innocently. “Look, it’s a Skitty!” he whispered.

“Look, it’s a Skitty!” Ash whispered, motioning to the small pink and cream kitten that was sleeping in the middle of the path.

"...It's cute," Stella whispered, tilting her head in thought, "but I'm not really a cat person. Besides, I don't want to wake it up, it looks so peaceful. Let's keep going," she said, tiptoeing around the sleeping Skitty, Charlie doing the same.

Ash nodded, following Stella stealthy through the wooded gardens. Everything was quiet for a while, not much movement in the trees and bushes and the wind was hardly blowing. Everything was still. They had long since passed the sleeping Skitty and they should have encountered another Pokemon by now. Instead, all they found was silence and stillness. The air had even gotten chillier.

Ash stopped and was about to turn to face his Trainer when he heard a laugh from in the trees. He turned his head quickly, starting to freak out. Then the same sound came again, this time from his other side. He looked again and saw one of the oldest of old Pokemon, Mew.

Stella slowly made her way through the forest, noting how deathly silent it had become. Is it nap time? she wondered, starting to get a little creeped out. She noticed that it had grown chillier in the last several minutes so she pulled her jacket in tight around her, shivering slightly.

It was then that they heard a laugh, almost like a child's, coming from the trees. Stella froze, too afraid to move, while Charlie's head darted back and forth as he tried to figure out where the sound was coming from.

They heard the laugh again, but this time when they turned to look they came face to face with a small pink Pokemon with a long tail floating absentmindedly through the air.

"T-That's..." Stella began, but was too awestruck to finish stumbling over her words.

"Mew!" The Pokemon cried, as if it were finishing Stella's sentence.

Stella turned back to look at Ash, who was just as shocked as she had been to see such a Pokemon. "What do we do?"

“Well, since neither of us have a camera, I suppose we should just leave,” Ash said quietly, still in shock from seeing the Pokemon legend. Mew circled around Stella once, sitting on her head for a brief moment before flying around Scizor and then circling Ash a few times. The pink Pokemon then vanished back into the trees and the garden brightened again, sounds returning to the area and the sun shining brighter and warmer. “Wow, that was…” Ash trailed off, “something.”

Then there was a loud buzzing noise coming from behind the trio. Ash quickly turned around, barely in time to grab Stella’s hand and pull her to the ground. A swarm of Combee darted through the air, all following a over-sized Vespiqueen.

“That was close,” Ash said, standing up. A stray Combee fluttered behind them, looking a bit lost. It stopped when it saw the two trainers and Scizor. “Want a Combee?”

Stella was speechless as the small legendary Pokemon flew around her and eventually sat on her head. She was relieved that the forest had become warmer and lighter when Mew left, as it was starting to give her the creeps.

She was about to open her mouth when she heard a strange buzzing noise that was quickly getting louder, and before she could comprehend what was happening, Ash had pulled her to the ground to avoid being hit by a swarm of Combee.

“That was close,” Ash said, standing up.

"It certainly was..." Stella chuckled, getting up and brushing herself off. She looked over at the small bee Pokemon that had gotten separated from its group. It was so cute, though she felt a little bad for it because it was all alone.

“Want a Combee?” Ash asked her, and Stella nodded, turning to Charlie. "You up for this? I don't want you tiring yourself out trying to hit that tiny Combee."

Charlie nodded, holding its pincers up like fists, ready to fight again.

"Alright, start off with a Vacuum Wave and then follow up with Wing Attack while Combee is distracted!" she shouted, and Charlie dashed out into the field.

He began to beat his thin metal wings furiously, so fast that one could barely see it, and soon a large vacuum of air was pulling the tiny bee towards him. Charlie quickly flew forward, almost a red blur as he sped up, and then suddenly his wings stopped beating and the only thing propelling Charlie forward was pure momentum. He stiffened his wings and dove towards Combee, who was still flying towards him due to the Vacuum Wave, and braced for impact.

((Make it female, please. A male Combee is a really useless thing.))

A Scizor’s Vacuum Wave was something to every Trainer should see. The Pokemon’s wings beat faster and faster, creating a vacuum of air. The vacuum began pulling the Combee towards Charlie. The bee Pokemon flapped his scrawny wings furiously to no avail. The Vacuum Wave was too powerful for her and pulled her in. As Charlie followed up with Wing Attack, however, Charlie started to lose his footing. As Charlie fell on the ground, Combee took this as an opportunity to use one of her own attacks.

“Comb! Bee! Bee!” she shouted angrily before buzzing over the fallen Scizor and biting his arm in a Bug Bite. You may not think it, but a Combee’s bite is hard to shake off. Then a pink haze started drifting out from Combee’s wings. The Sweet Scent drifted to Scizor’s nose, making the Pokemon sigh happily.

“Hm, that sure smells good…” Ash whispered happily.

Stella let out a happy sigh. That Sweet Scent really did smell amazing. After a few seconds of gazing off into the distance, she shook it off and jumped back into battle mode. "Charlie, I know it smells so good but you've got to get rid of this pink haze, it's throwing you off. Try to blow it away with another Vacuum Wave, but this time ease up on it and go in reverse, so the mist just blows away. Then use a Swords Dance and follow up with a Metal Claw! If Combee tries to get out of the way, grab it with both claws and pull it in, then use Iron Head!"

Charlie nodded, still a little out of it from Combee's Sweet Scent. He began to beat his wings again like last time, only not as fast and in the opposite direction, basically creating a fan that would hopefully blow away the haze. As he leaned forward, he began to pump his arms in the air, snapping his claws.

"Zorrr!" he yelled, which Stella assumed was his battle cry, and with this little boost he began to dash forward, his claws glowing white. This white soon faded and it looked as if a thick steel coating had covered his claws, and as he reached Combee pulled his right one back and snapped it forward, attempting to clamp onto the small bee. At the same time his head also began to glow the same white, just in case he'd have to ram it into the tiny bug.
