The S1 episode with the Ghost woman that turned out to be a Gastly.
... It's going to kill me remembering what that episode was called. Edit: Oh, I just remembered. That one actually ties with Bye Bye Butterfree, the first episode I ever saw.

To Hard to pick just 1-I like the S.S. Anne 2-Parter, and the one with Aerodactly (back when I though Ash's name was a bad word..). I remember loving alot of Jhoto Eps from when I was a little Kid and not knowing those Pokemon since I didn't have GSC, although I do remember watching one at my dad's, which was rare, about an angry Ursarang.

The Johto episode where Ash has Larvitar and stumbles upon a lake full of slowpoke with a King's Rock in the middle of it. It is called "A Crowning Achievement".
