When Ranger Eli told me I couldn't attack with both the Pokemon I sighed, but I knew I had to follow the rules so I nodded in agreement. "Okay Magnezone hold Beldum still with your magnets and keep trying to Thunder Wave it until you hit." Magnezone concentrated and created another wave of electricity but instead of sending one, it sent several this time, in a wide radius, so that Beldum couldn't escape.

Beldum was looking rather sad that it couldn't leave, so it just stopped trying and turned to face Magnezone. Beldum charged straight towards the magnet Pokemon, flying straight into the Thunder Wave, but also straight into Magnezone's face. The sound of the metals banging into each other echoed through the cave.

Magnezone gave out a slight screech as that particular hit seemed to have hurt a lot while Beldum just bounced back and awaited the next move.

Okay, seeing as Take Down is the only move Beldum knows we could easily dodge if we worked well. "Magnezone, I want you to use Discharge and when it comes towards you for a Take Down, dodge quickly to the side." Magnezone concentrated its eyes on Beldum and suddenly shot out a huge ray of electrical charges. They flew around the room in every direction, zapping everything they touched.

Beldum began to float towards Magnezone again while Nancy sat next to Ranger Eli's side. At that moment, Magnezone let out a huge Discharge. Both Ranger Eli and Zack had to jump to a side to dodge the incoming electricity, but Beldum was just too close to dodge. It got zapped head on. Beldum was really hurt, but it just kept trying to rush towards Magnezone.

Once right in front of Magnezone, the big magnet Pokemon moved to a side, but strangely, Beldum stopped right there, turned towards and swung its head right into Magnezone's side. Magnezone was both surprised and spooked by the attack so it floated backwards and made it to Zack's side.

I looked at Magnezone who had quickly swooped to my side because it had been spooked by the Beldum's sudden attack. "Okay Houndoom, now it's your turn," I said to the jet black dog that was sat next to me. Houndoom howled menacingly and then leapt up onto its feet, ready to fight. "Use Thunder Fang on Beldum!"

Houndoom snarled and sprung off of hits hind legs straight towards Beldum with its jaw, gaping open. Electrical sparks began to form and crackle inside its mouth ready to unleash on the Beldum.

Beldum seemed very upset as it noticed it now had a new opponent. It tried to float away yet again, but it hurt. Beldum felt a strong stinging sensation in its body and couldn't move. At that moment, Houndoom jumped towards Beldum and landed her Thunder Fang. Beldum wasn't sure how of this it could take as it dropped towards the ground. Still, before hitting the floor, Beldum began to levitate again as it still had some fight in it. Magnezone calmed down.

Beldum looked pretty tired and I didn't want to accidentally knock it out. I withdrew a Hyper Ball from my pocket and aimed at Beldum. I threw the ball at the wild Pokemon and waited for the ball to engulf it in a beautiful red light. Only would it be a capture...?

Zack tossed his Hyperball towards Beldum. Beldum just looked at the ball as it headed its way and let itself be hit by it. Beldum entered the Hyperball and it fell to the ground. The ball began to shake one, twice, but before shaking its third time, it opened and Beldum flew out. The Hyperball rolled backwards and stopped at Zack's feet.

"Don't give up Mr. Blaze!" said Ranger Eli.

Beldum simply looked around and targeted Houndoom again, rushing in her direction.

OOC: Hmm...I'm noticing a pattern. This seems to be like any other video game battle. Try to be more creative and do combos and stuffs...well, I guess now it might be hard since you don't want to KO Beldum. Still, do your best.

I picked up the Hyper Ball that had rolled towards me and pocketed it, ready to try again soon. I had to use weak attacks. "Okay Houndoom, come back. Magnezone I want you to Tackle it, but don't be to rough." Magnezone ascended and threw its whole body at the Beldum who was ready to attack.

Magnezone quickly took its battle position as Houndoom retreated. Beldum seemed to be giving up and just stood there waiting. On Zack's command, Magnezone rushed towards Beldum to attempt a Tackle, although Magnezone slowed down a bit before striking. Beldum was pushed back a bit and took that chance to swing itself forward and strike Magnezone head on. Magnezone wasn't impressed this time, although it was hurt a bit, and just waited its next command.

"Okay Magnezone, hit it with another Tackle but make it a bit stronger this time." Once again Magnezone flew at Beldum, about to smack it again.

Beldum was getting frustrated and it didn't like it since it wasn't used to negative emotions at all. As he noticed Magnezone approach for another attack, Beldum also rushed forward and tried to put as much effort as it could on this attack.

The two steel types were now headed straight towards each other and collided hard. The sound of the metal impacting one another echoes through out the cave. Both Houndoom and Nancy tried to cover their ears as they put their heads on the floor. Range Eli also covered his ears.

When the sound was over and everyone looked back at the battle, they found Magnezone floating but in pain as it got badly hurt. On the floor right next to it was Beldum, staying there motionless. Suddenly, an Abra appeared out of nowhere and placed its hand over Beldum and, before anyone could say anything, both Pokemon disappeared from the scene.

Ranger Eli knew that the event must have been very disappointing for Zack, so instead of talking about it, Eli looked at Zack and said, "Well Mr. Blaze, where too now? I don't know if we can go deeper into the cave because it's too dark."

I knew I shouldn't have attacked. "Oh well," I said to Eli, "not much you can do about it now. How about we head out of the cave and see what else we can find?"

The group decided to turn around and walk out of the cave. As they did, the light only got slightly brighter. When they were finally out, they noticed that the sky was very dark and cloudy. The wing was blowing very strong, threatening to even pull Ranger Eli's jacket off. What at first seemed like a black dot. As it came closer, what at first seemed like 3 horns coming out of its head could be seen. It was an Unown, an Unown "W" by the looks of it, being dragged by the wind from the distance and it was approaching rapidly.

I shielded my face from the wind with my arms. An Unown was being blown around by the rapid wind. "I don't really wanna battle Unown." I think we should move on and look for something else."
