PE2K Shoddy Server Not Working.. :/ - Pokemon Forum

Ok guys, I don't really know why this or if this problem is only for me.. But since yesterday I haven't been able to enter the Pe2K shoddy server...

I get a messages eache time that says...

Connection Error

An error occurred while attempting to connect to the server:

Connection timed out: connect

So are you guys getting this problem?

Have you ever gotten this problem?

What did you do to fix it?

I have been able to enter other servers so I really wanna know what happened to the PE2K server...

EDIT: I also spoke with a person that owns a server that had the same messages.. And he told me his server had been taken down do to a lot of viruses and stuff like that.. Is that what happened? Are you rebuilding the shoddy server?

Yeah, it's happening to everyone. It's been down the past 3 or 4 days, along with all of the other servers that <Person> from Team Uber hosts. I don't know what caused it to go down or anything like that though, sorry.

Hey guys due to all the RAM and virsuses, the server suspended us.. James is also moving and won't have internet for 3 months which adds more conflict to everything. And due to this, he doesn't have the money to host everyones server and had to let everything go. So you'll have to start fresh just like us. I apologize for any inconveniance.

Ok.. So we have our answer....

Somebody needs to pitch in and buy a new server... I know off a forum that had the same server plan as pe2k.. It has a active admin that says money is no problem... Or at leas the keeps saying that to me (The same person that is considering sponsoring my graphic pages).. Anyway if makes a new server for his forum.. Maybe we can get to use a bit of his space and make a new Pe2k server.. :)

But guys my suggestion above is a long shot... So can someone maybe contact Ryan on this?

Since James is pretty much gone for 3 months, I am the one "replacing" him. The actual server itself will be up hopefully tomorrow. However, if I cannot resolve the issue with the server hosts, PE2K will have to look for another server to host their Shoddy on. If I am going to be paying out for a new VPS Server, I am buying it for Team Uber and Team Uber alone. But that is last resort, I may or may not be able to keep PE2K running even after I resolve the problems, so please bare with us.

Also if your not able to host the Pe2K server can you let us know... So we can start looking for a new one?

As soon as I can, I shall post in this thread or something, as you can see from my post count I don't post here often, so this'll have to do. xD.

Ok, we cannot continue to host PE2K's server, so you guys will have to fend for yourselves, sorry for the trouble.
