No, no. You want torture invigorating? Watch a celebrity news channel non-stop, all on Paris Hilton :D

i think it's up to the ranger- I mean, if they want to set up obstacles that require particular moves to overcome they can, but they're not forced to.

Of course, if the trainer lacks the HM, they can try to find another way to achieve the same effect. If they lack surf, they can try to build a raft. If they need to smash rocks, they can use a pokemon with Horn Drill or similiar. You're limited by your imagination (and reality to a certain extent)

Also, Dragoness? Trust me, they're basically the same thing, only instead of Paris, that at least is pretty, we have old men.

Nice to see the Park up after five years. Everything looks great and well organized. Lovin' the new board. Wish you lots of success running this thing!

Even if you do meet yourself, you can sto your past self before he/she can do anything that would cripple you, since you know it would happen.

However, you must be sure you are the future, or past version of yourself, because it wouldn't be nice to beat up- or prevent from doing something- yourself, only for your attempt to backfire spectacularly because you weren't there to stop yourself again.

Geez... It's just me, or I've started running in circles?

I don't recall reading this in the rules, so I ask it here.

What happens if a Ranger gets a trainer that is not active? Say you have one trainer that has not posted in their thread for two or three weeks w/out any explanation. You send PM/VM/IMs, but no response.

Well, you can't take another Trainer through until your done with this one, but this one isn't active. What happens? And how long is it considered for a trainer to be "inactive" to the point their holding up the RP 'cause you can't get more than two (or in the future, maybe one) trainers at a time and your waiting for this one...?

13. The Ranger must escort you out of the park if: you run out of Parkballs, you have had 15 encounters, all your Pokemon have fainted, the Ranger had to step in and fix one of your messes twice, or you don’t post for 4 days.
As far as the Main Park RP, I would think it falls under the normal RP standards: just continue without them, or have a Park Official bunny their character out of the plot until he/she can return.

A few updates:

First, everyone will (eventually) notice that I've added numbers next to each Pokemon in the Location thread. This is to help Rangers who roll a die equal to the number of Mon in any given area. Now, instead of having to count out the Mon, you can quickly match the number rolled to the Mon in the area. For example, if you're rolling for the Abandoned Power Plant and you roll a 33, you can easily see that Crobat is that Mon.

Also, I've added a few new rules regarding money and EMs, so please go read those.

Haha, I'm gonna turn into a troll if I keep up all this double-posting.

Just a shout-out to Rangers: The first Ranger Wages will be posted a month from when the Park opened, NOT from when the first Battle Log was posted. That means somewhere around October 13th, give or take a day or two. Also, as a special incentive to encourage Rangers to take Trainers through these first few weeks, I'll give all Rangers (who do their job, of course; no freebies here!) an extra bit of money. Not sure how much; perhaps an extra 40% based off what your wages are? I'm not sure. I'll make it worthwhile, though, just not something too over-the-top. So Rangers, get down to work and make some moolah!

Uhh, I thought we can only make one RP post per week? Or did I get it confused with something else...?

a trainer can only enter the park once a week, but for all we care you could finish the fifteen encountrts in a day, and take another trainer.

:P What DG said. You can post in an RP as many times a day/week as you like (and in the case of Trainers, you have to post at least once every four days or risk getting booted from the Park).

Also, Nyurgh has earned a temporary Ranger's license, so everyone congratulate him or else!

H'okay, Parkpedia has been updated a little with info on how to calc Toxic damage. Also, I edited the rules, because for some reason I thought Trainers couldn't decide the Gender of the Mon they encounter. So that's been edited; for this who misread the previous comment, Trainers CAN decide the Gender of Mons they encounter.

Also, gonna edit the Encounter Tracker thread with a bit more info and stuff, and I'm gonna add a tip to the Mechanics thread. I'll edit this post when I'm done with all the other editing 8D.

EDIT: Edits done!

EDIT2: Added another rule regarding leaving early.
