What's the best Grass type for my team?

I need one grass type for my team, i already have one Vileplume, but he's not very strong (I think...)


of course that it depends of the attacks, but he's very weak in attacks too...




I use Raichu, Vaporeon, Charizard, Primeape, Marowak and Vileplume actually.

Hmmmm....Vileplume should be a good battler....what moves does it have? If they stink that much....Sunflora {if you can trade one from another game} or Bellossom, it rocks! Here are ideal Movesets for both....

Petal Dance

Bellossom..Miracle Seed

Petal Dance
Sludge Bomb

They are sorta the same but both are great! Try it out and tell me what you think!

To be honest, I don't think you need a grass type. You cover its strengths elsewhere. I'd get something like an Alakazam with that team, but that's just me. :x

and i don't have the sun stone yet xD

My vileplume is weak bcuz i'm in Fuschia yet and looking to his attacks i don't think that he's a good choice...

Get rid of Absorb, Giga Drain is just a powered-up version of it. Sleep Powder is decent. You should have kept it a Gloom because Vileplume is not good until it is in the 50's or 40's. Did you evolve it a little too early? But, because you are only in that part of the game, I suggest an Execute or, even better, it's evolved form. You can find them in the Safari Zone. Evolve Execute with a Leaf Stone. They are Grass and Psychic and can learn Confusion which is good for Koga if you have not beaten him yet.

Yes, or get Parasect, they are Bug and Grass.

Honestly, if this is in from firered, i would stick with Vileplume. Vileplumes are pretty awesome if they have even half-decent movesets. In fact, i used to use one on my competitive D/P team. What you need to do is catch a new Oddish or Gloom and then level it up until it learns Petal Dance before evolving it.

Petal Dance/Giga Drain
Sludge Bomb
Sleep Powder
Moonlight

Another possible moveset would be a sunnybeamer. If you want to go with this following moveset, you will have to keep it as a gloom until it learns moonlight before evolving it.

I Like your vilploom, yet i agree with what was previosly stated, you evolved it to early.Do not worry it will be fine if you train it but it will be harder to train. I dont think you shold listen to other peaples rules for top teams just if you like it role with it.

I personally recommend the Pokemon you already have! Just train it a little on some wild Pokemon if it is a weak Pokemon. But, its attacks are good for now. I suggest teaching it some more moves and drop absorb, but other than that, Vileplume is the best choice in your situation.

You know, I always imagined Roserade as a her. Seeing as it looks very feminine :>
But yes, Kirby is right. Roserade is awesome, better than all of those other options in my opinion. And she looks awesome too :)
