I want to promote my new fanfiction, but I don't know how to make a banner, and the tutorial thing doesn't work. What preferably free program should I use? When I'm finished, how do I make it link to my story?

If you don't have money, I suggest Gimp. Just put Gimp into google and look for something like Gimp.org.

Once you have your image, go to Imageshack and browse for your image and select host. Copy the last link it gives you, and put it in this format:

[IMG]the link here[/IMG]

Well, not many people would pay 700 dollars to make pretty banners. Lol.

I used the easy tutorial on www.neopets.com and it worked, try using it. You have to search for the member's page that has the tutorial on it(Yes it's a pokemon banner tutorial). I learned how to do TCs and banners there.
