The Beginning (or somewhere near it)

The sun beat down on a long deserted plain. No plants grew. No desert lizards scurried. There was nothing alive. Nothing.

A cat-like creature raised her head in alarm. She could stil picture the plain. "Just a dream. Just a dream." she murmered. "How are you feeling, Mara?" another creature just like her known as an Ethra mewed. "I'm fine, Petro."Mara whispered to her mate, looking at her fat, pregnant belly as she did so."Just fine."

A tall man stood. He was in the middle of a huge jungle. Somewhere in the middle, anyway.Next to him was a tall, spindly creature called a goblin. "There's gotta be some Ethra around here somewhere."the man said to himself. The goblin only grinned. "Meat.Meat."chanted the goblin.

This isn't a fan fic, more like a bad RPG post. There is only bare bones description. If the reader can't visualize what is happening in the story then you have not done your job as a writer.

Take your time. A fan fic chapter should be at least one and a half pages in MS Word. A good chapter is about three pages.

I've never done fantasy before. Only personal narratives. I think its awful too. Maybe I should delete.

If you want it to be good then you have to take time in writing it. No one writes five-star fan fiction chapters in one sitting.

You shouldn't completely give up with your writing. If you wish to delete your thread then just simply edit your first post and look for the deletion box.

Don't delete it! You just need to make it a lot longer. I think it's pretty good for how short it is. Just work a little harder at it and I think you'll do fine.
