Well for someone who is not used to seeing such thing i'm guessing it would be a normal reaction, i know i can get rather hyped up while watching anime... like at the climax of the series. So yes, concider it normal.

Well when I first started watching Pokemon, I could hardly sit through a whole epsiode and when I did, I would have to get up immeditally and start running around. So since he doesn't watch TV, I'm guessing he would have somewhat of a childlike reaction to it.

The first episode i watched was the haunted mansion in lavender town.
I didn't even know what it was about because i was only 5 or 6 years old.
Before that my brothers had the game. Now they don't like pokemon anymore
because ones 18 and the other ones 19. I'm trying to get them to like pokemon.

I think a Minnonite is like an Amish person, a member of a Christian religious order that shuns modern technology (electricity, TV, radio, computers, etc.), but I could be wrong.

Pokemon Ranger, whatever you do, don't show him the banned Porygon episode that causes seizures.

minonites are like amish, with only a few differences, which, personally I can't remember right now

It is a normal reaction, I just got my brother into pokemon, and he did it the first few episodes he saw.

Edit: On a side note, I got my teachers kind into pokemon...
