Default My FRLG Team

Please rate:

Armaldo@Lefties
EVS: 255 Atk/127 sp.def/128 HP
Nature: Adamant
- Rock Blast
- EQ
- Hidden Power [Bug]
- Swords Dance

Rock Blast OHKOs subbing Ninjask, the rest is self-explanatory.

Regice@Lefties
EVS: 6 HP/252 Defense/252 sp.attack
Nature: Hardy (keeping explosion's power up)
- Explosion
- Ice Beam
- Thunder Wave
- Thunderbolt

Special Tank with nice sp.attack. It's pretty self-explanatory.

Espeon@Lum Berry
EVS: 6HP/252Sp.Attack/252Spd
Nature: Timid
- Bite
- Calm Mind
- Psychic
- Morning Sun/Reflect

Pretty Standard but it pwns. Give advice for the last slot.

Salamence@Lum Berry
EVS: 6HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Nature: Jolly
- Dragon Dance
- Aerial Ace
- Brick Break
- Rock Slide

A dancer with unstandard physical attacks. Brick Break and Rock Slide take out Ice types and Blissey. Aerial ace gets STAB and when danced does some nice damage.

Weezing@Leftovers
EVS: 6Hp/252Def/252Atk
Nature: Adamant
- Explosion
- Haze
- Sludge Bomb
- Will-O-Wisp

The anti-dancer/EQer/Physical tank to complement Regice. Will-o-wisp is very annoying vs dancers and physical sweepers. He's standard.

Venusaur@Leftovers
EVS: 6HP/252spdef/252def
Nature: Calm
- Magical Leaf
- Leech Seed
- Protect
- Toxic

Leeching Protoxic is annoying to say the least. It can also counter double teamers if there are any left out there

Armaldo: Rapid Spin over Earthquake/HP Bug IMO. It can still kill pogeys, even if one of the slot is for utility purpose. 180/0/84/0/0/244, Adamant Nature.

Regice: 204/0/148/0/156/0, Bold Nature for all-round tank. 204/0/0/0/52/252, Modest Nature for a hard core Special Tank.

Espeon: HP Ice over Bite. 4/0/236/252/16/0, Timid Nature. I prefer Leftovers over Lum Berry. It has 300 Special Attack, so that should be good enough with Calm Mind. Max Speed, and rest in Defense to make Moon Light useful.

Salemence: Dragon Dance, Earthquake, Fire Blast, Hidden Power Flying. FB to take out Steel Tanks. Attach Leftovers. Hardy or any of the neutral natures. 20/16/56/144/216/56. 310 on each offense, 210 on each defense. It has enough Speed to outrun Jolteon/Aerodactyl/Crobat. It's not only offensive, but can absorb hits as well.

Weezing: Fire Blast over Rest IMO, it should be able to survive w/ Leftovers. 196/56/0/0/96/160, Relaxed Nature. It should have enough offense and defense. Weezing is more like a Defensive Tank, so you can bring all those Special Defense EPs to Defense.

Venusaur: Leech Seed, Sleep Powder, Sludge Bomb, Synthesis is better. 204/120/72/16/0/96, Careful Nature.

You have a 3x Rock Weakness...I guess Weezing can take care of it, but maybe take Regice for a different Special Tank, Salemence for a different Sweeper, or Armaldo for a different Rapid Spinner? Tell me what you think.

I would probably take out EQ, as HP Bug is more unpredictable and still can take out low-defense electrics.

I want to keep it modest I think so that it can at least attack decently.

I don't really see the need for HP Ice if you don't mind explaining.... Bite does really nice damage and can flinch. The rest sounds good.

EQ takes out steel tanks fine... and do you mean with one dance it can outrun crobat etc? It sure can't without it... this sounds good though.

Special attacks really send him to the grave it seems... I guess I can try that.

Seed + Lefties + Protect recovers enough HP given it has high defenses. Protect also stalls toxic too...

Yeah that's a problem... I was thinking maybe T-tar or Gyarados over Salamence. What do you think?

er imo fireblast isnt neccesary, if you see a steel just wow it and switch.

if you really fear rock, maybe a ground liek donphan or swampert both would fit the bill nicely. Now that i think about it swampert would compliment your team nicely.

T-tar over Salemence, and/or Swampert over Regice then.

Swampert @ Leftovers
Torrent
108/0/136/0/130/136
Brave
Earthquake
Ice Beam
Rest
Surf

or 108/0/52/0/96/252, Sassy Nature for a more Special based Tank.

I wouldnt be too worried about needing electric, venusaur can handle water and swampert can handle flying : P

looks good to me as it is right now, although if weezing goes down i can forsee physical attackers becoming a problem, and if venusaur goes down I can also see trouble coming your way. So just be careful.

You're right, and I've had problems with that before. I guess what I lack in defense I can make up in skill.

Weezing tanks a lot more than it attacks, so I'd give more EVs to HP and less to ATtack.
