I Wanna replace Fire Punch but i don't know which one. So i need suggestions. Also u can rate him. He can wipe out The Whole of the Elite 4 well nearly

I think the standard has Mint berry + rest over Fire punch, but alternatives include uh... Sunny day w/ Fire blast or something?

Typhlosion - Use Fire Blast, Sunny Day, Thunder Punch, Earthquake, Rest, Toxic and you are a winner. I'd suggest having two offensive moves though.

Anyways, Toxic isn't recommanded unless your team is based upon Toxic and spikes, in which case having a Typhlosion would be a pretty undesirable idea since it's not very... tankish.

All I can say is put Curse over Fire Punch. It'll help out a little, but if you're worried about speed, then instead, give it return.

Return wouldn't support speed, but it would be another physical attack for Typhlosion.

umm original standard had sunny day+fireblast/flamethrower(whatever comes jor way) but ive seen end-revving phlosion and quite a few variations. But I would go with rest or sunny day.

Typlosion in Crystal is good with Endure, Reversal, Flamethrower, T-punch

298 is more average than mediocre in terms of speed, I mean, Drumzard is Zard's standard, and it has 298 speed =x

Yeah, as mana said, 298 speed is anything but mediocre. Besides, it will be way faster than most rock or normal type pokemon that it will pwn with reversal with few exceptions.

drumzard is standard but it doesnt go down to 1 hp or rely on an opponents immediate attack.

and yes in gsc 298 to me falls under medicore x_x if i see typhlosion especially if it endrevs damn i'll let it eat one of my mons if i have to then go to something faster or switch to anything fight resistant. typhlosion cant endrevv, imo the strat never worked until rs came about. Ive never lost more than 1 mon to an endrevver and that includes hitmonlee with passed attack and speed.

It's more efficient in FRLG, no doubt, but when used cunningly it can be effective.
