RP: WAKANDA --- Original plot

The Plot

Wakanda is a land unlike the one we live on. It is in our solar system but we can't see it. It's in a diffrent version of our solar system, posing as the 'Earth' there.
Wakanda in a magical place. Dragons roams the skies and unicorns take the land while merfolk live in the seas. Pixies, sprites and even spirits float in forests and protect the lands.

But life is more then that. The art of cheveyo is practice in this world as well. Cheveyo is the art of spirits. When they enter the world a spirit instantly bonds to the human around it that is most suited for it. To bond to one, though, you must be standing in a cleared patch of grass where new spirits go. Upon bonding the spirit appears in human form, kisses its new partner's hand(or cheek if its a flirty spirit) and explains its duties.
The spirit is called an Edna and serves as one's gaurdian angel. Some Edna are the spirits of trees or whole forests while others are merely leaf or rock spirits. The spirits have a human form and animal form as well. The human form is used when protecting and the animal form for traveling.

But the art of Cheveyo isn't a game. Upon summoning a spirit one is expected to fulfill certain duties. Someone with a leaf spirit won't work as hard as someone with the spirit of a whole forest. Spirits that are lower or of common things tend to have to work and simply explore until another spirit bonds to that person. Medium spirits, such as a tree or lake spirit, will find itself protecting and carrying for that new tree or lake as well as hosting new bonding when the trees bud.
Spirits of a whole forest must govern the tree, lake, etc. spirits in their forest/mountain/etc.

The most painful thing about spirits, though, is when they die. You'll suddenly lose more then a friend bu someone attached to your mind and it can drive someone to the point of suicide. Because of this one MUST care for their spirit. Tree spirits need their tree healthy and forest spirits relay those in their forest to keep them healthy. Rock spirit simply must not have their rock split but leaf spirits are a diffrent story. They only last a year so those who bond these spirits have the bond another fast to keep their sanity.

So the question is... Will you try to bond?

Wakanda was at another calm, peaceful sun rising. The air was cool, just barely recieving warmth from the sun, and the stars were fading into the golden sun rise while the moon dipped under the horizon. But it wasn't just another day, it was the day of a major gathering.

The gathering was taking place aound a large tree and everyone was invited. Because that day started a new year on many spirits were being born, each ready to lock a friendship with a certain human.
A horn blew and people began scrambling to the tree...

*It was the same day that Kent left three years ago. He now stood beside the large tree. It seemed that he was somehow invited to this tree, rather than him coming here for no reason, but he would have never guessed why he would be invited, or where he would have to go...to escape from this darkness.

The winds began to blow, as the fields of green wavered with the light breezes. It was almost perfect. But something, to him, was missing.

He sat by the large tree and he noticed a nearby rock, but he paid no attention to that, for he was admiring the beauty of such fields, where there never seemed an end to this grassland. He knew, however, that this grassland ended just too short of what he would expect.*

As the sun rose higher more spirits were born and the very rock that had met Kent's gaze suddenly split in two, leaving a new rock next to the old. The rock spirits was ever so slightly visible, the form of a young girl coming into sight in the air. She had long hair, probbly black, and she was watching Kent with interest. Perhaps she'd follow him a while. She probbly knew where she could find people.

But no. She had made her choice and now only needed to be noticed. Would this nice boy mind if she sealed their friendship? She really didn't want to wait to pick out someone to protect. She just wanted to start protecting right away!
"Ummmm... Excuse me." She whispered in a soft voice as she hovered over to Kent "Ummm... Are you looking for spirits?"

Near the giant tree a beautiful small river was floating.
I started to slowly walk against it, i dont know why, it was like i was pulled towards it by some mysthical force....

The river's water was clear as the skies and the water seemed to know its course would never end as it took its time to slowly pass by. Then, rather suddenly, a tree fell over the river. The mud caved in and the water's seemed stopped, the original river crying out as it died. The water was piling up behind it and then flowed over the mud wall and washed the wall away, a new river born in the place of the old.

The male spirit perked his body out of the water in the form of a kitten, his fur also a blue-grey and his yellow eyes fixed on the traveler walking by his river. The spirit mewed in pleasure and changed to his human form. The boy was perhaps 8 years old and had a mess of blue-black hair and blue eyes to match. He wore a skyblue t-shirt and shorts to match, his expression playful and a bit devilish as he pulled tricks from his sleeves and trailed his visitor.

*He saw the spirit, he knew from her floating in mid-air. Also he knew of the strange question. He noticed her face and her long, jet black hair. Indeed she was a beautiful spirit to behold.*

Kent: What if I said I am not?

*He noticed the rash nature of this spirit...similar to him. Maybe this would be an alright relationship, one that would not end in tragedy.*
