Pokémon Travels: New Pokémon, New Land, New Evil!!!

Here it goes:

Pokémon Travels

Isona, a brand-new region, is known for many different features, including plains, mountains, glaciers, etc. Many new Pokémon are discovered in this "Pokémon version of the Outback". A trainer named Steven (not the Steven from R/S) will become a trainer. He's from a small town called Tinytree Town, where a professer named Prof. Sequoia owns a lab. His rival, Rick, is also from Tinytree. Like all beginning trainers, you can choose from 3 Pokémon.


Grass: Seedcomp (a comsognathus) Evolves into a powerful dragon.
Fire: Flammbawl (a fireball) Evolves into a Dark-type
Water: Moreel (an eel) Evolves into a divine sea serpent.


Steven grabs the grass-type, so Rick gets Flammbawl. On the way to Pansy Town, Steven gets jumped by the new evil organization: Team Griffen. This makes Steven fall behind. Steven is offered to battle by this mysterious team. If they won, they got Seedcomp. May the Battle commence!!!


Team Griffen Grunt sent out Lilgrif lv. 5 (a baby griffen Pokémon. A fire/flying-type)

Steven sent out Seedcomp lv. 5

Lilgrif uses Ember, badly burning Seedcomp. Steven realizes that they really could take his Seedcomp, so he has Seedcomp use Leaf Storm. Seedcomp sprays leaves all around, so it would be impossible to see. That's when Steven calls back Seedcomp so they could escape.

Continuing:


Steven escaped safely to Pansy Town, and healed his Seedcomp. After he left the Pokémon Center, he hears a scream. He looks up and sees a large griffen Pokémon. It was Grifflord, the fully evolved form of Lilgrif, and someone was riding it. The Grifflord launched Fire Blasts on the town. Steven only barely made it out of town. He makes his way to Tungsten Tunnel, the first cave before his first badge at Cliff Town. He enters the cave. Half way through, he fings a strange fossil. It looked like some kind of shell covered in little fin-like projections along the edges. It reminded Steven of Anorith, except it was too big for Anorith. He put it in his bag, when a wild Pokémon appeared. It was a Tempress, the Compress Pokémon. May the battle commence.

Wild Tempress lv.9 appeared

Go Seedcomp lv 8 (he's grown in level since the last battle.)

Seedcomp uses Leaf Blade, and Steven throws a Pokéball.

Yeh sorry man but I have to agree with Dark Pikachu here . This isn't off to a very good start . I like the new pokemon you have come up with though, they sound pretty cool. Like DP said have a look at some of the other stories here...
my story An Adventure of a Lifetime, or anything by NeoPikachu, Phoenix004, or KCash are good examples. For a different style see something by Johto Island Girl. Have a read around and then go back and rewrite ur posts...

I agree with the others, it's to short, you could developed the characters and lot more, use more details.
Example: Steven could be, the son of a great Pokemon Master of Isona, or the son of one of the Gym Leaders or Elite 4, or he could be Steven's (R/S) grandson.

Ideas for new Cities:
- Springfont city;
- Florinda town;
- Evergreen town;
- Greenroad town;
- Emerald city;
- Gravel city;
- Hightower city;
- Peak town;
- Dracoburg city;
- Serena town;
- Skyridge city (city like the Jetsons, could be know as the city of the skys);
- Aquapolis city (the underwater capital);
- Metropolis city (the future town);

The last 3 cities, are a cool idea to be explore
