I THINK that it will be changed to Nimfeon or Nimpheon whenever the English translated Pokedex comes out. "Nimfia" is just the Japanese name for it(Glaceon and a few others had the same thing. "Glacia" for example)
None of the Japanese names for the eeveelutions end with "eon" so they will most likely change Nimfia's name as well for the English versions. o.o

Re: Revealed Pokemon Thread, Eeveelution revealed -Ninifa
Is the name posted the Japanese name ? It really looks like a normal type but the little ribbon looking things make me think it could be flying, but that may be a stretch.
Also, I really feel like its head doesnt match a normal eevee. Its body does but something is off about it.

I think so. I could be wrong though. I'm just comparing it to whenever Glaceon and Leafeon were introduced; Glaceon's japanese name being "Glacia"
I think(hope) it's gonna be a normal type. Maybe the male Nimfia will have a completely different look. I would be kinda disappointed if it was a flying type to be honest. I think it's just because I always wanted a winged eeveelution. =w=
Yeah, the head does look slightly different. Maybe it is because all of the other evolutions have narrower eyes and most of them have their head tilted down so you can't actually see the mouth. (given them an "older/fierce" like appearance rather than the "cutsy/innocent" look like eevee has) It has a longer face rather than the rounder shaped heads. IDK im just saying random stuff xD

I remember when Leafeon and Glaceon were announced, there were called Leafia and Glacia or something like that. It's probably just the Japanese name.
I'm assuming it'll be Ghost or Normal.

Trust me. Leafeon in Japanese is Leafia.

Re: Revealed Pokemon Thread, Eeveelution revealed -Ninifa
No, Ninfia is the Japanese name.
I still think Dragon. I don't think they'll make an Eeveelution that looks like a menacing dragon, just a cute looking canine/feline that can use Dragon type moves. Everyone was expecting a cool dragon I guess. xD
Either Dragon or Normal. I wanna see a Normal type like Linoone, Furret, Clefable, Wigglytuff, or Delcatty. One that can use an array of moves. o:
Maybe it'll even evolve via Moon Stone?!

For that there would need to be a Sun Stone equivalent. Mostly Moon Stone and Sun Stone evolutions come in pairs like Shiny Stone and Dusk Stone.
If this turns out to be a Ghostveelution, I want it to evolve by Dusk Stone more than Moon Stone.

Re: Revealed Pokemon Thread, Eeveelution revealed -Ninifa
The Japanese name will more than certainly be Nympheon. Ninfia's name is made up of Ninfu, which is the Japanese word for Nymph.

Re: Revealed Pokemon Thread, Eeveelution revealed -Ninifa
You mean the English name? xD
If they do what they did for Leafeon (Leafia) and Glaceon (Glacia), then it'll be Ninfeon. I like Ninfeon as a name...
THEY WORK SO FAST.

Yes I did haha. ^_^;
Also, Leafeon and Glaceon's Japanese names were not Leafia and Glacia. They were Riifia and Guraishia, which is how Leaf and Glace would translate into Japanese. So "if they do what they did for Leafon and Glaceon", it would be called Nympheon, as Ninfu(ia) is the Japanese equivalent of Nymph.

Re: Revealed Pokemon Thread, Eeveelution revealed -Ninifa
Oh I see. o:
"リーフィア" translated plainly is "Riifia", but the English translation of the Japanese name is Leafia. Or at least Bulbapedia says so. :L
Meh, I don't like Nympheon as a name. D: Still hoping for Ninfeon, no matter how unlikely. xD There's a cool rumor going around to where Ninfia is a normal type, but can transform into any of the other Eeveelution's types. The plant nymph (Leafeon), Underworld Nymph (Umbreon) etc give Ninfia (Nympheon) the ability to transform into those (nymph) types? Seems like a cool theory.
