Ranyuu popped out of his Pokeball with a loud roar. His massive wings flapped, creating moderately powerful winds. On the other end of the arena, a strange, Ghost-type Pokemon floated a few inches above the ground.

Having never seen the strange, levitating Pokemon before, Ranyuu braced himself for anything that might be thrown his way. He firmly planted his feet, digging his claws deep into the ground.In the center of his stomach, a small, white ball appeared. After several seconds, it began to take on its own shape, twisting and stretching against Ranyuu's breast. The small, pasty doll let out a slight cry as it finished its transformation, still connected to Ranyuu by a thin thread exiting through the center of his stomach.

Wisp, gleefully oblivious to Ranyuu's action, decided to warm up his electrical abilities. Tiny sparks came out of his arms, and traveled briskly towards the flying dinosaur. They seemed to skip on the air, bouncing around randomly. Once they were very near Ranyuu, he thrust his stomach, pulling the Substitute towards him. The Sub's eye's opened, glowing a bright blue, and absorbed the small, yellow, threads of electrical energy.

With a pleased roar, Ranyuu flew upwards, blocking out the sunlight. He spread his mighty wings, flipping them inwards quickly. From which, light purple streaks rode on the wind. Spiraling inwards, they circled Wisp, slowly closing in. From which, the chilling wind crashed into Wisp, causing him to gasp in pain.
[Ominous Wind: Wisp, -10% Health; Ranyuu, -7% Energy; Effect, 9/1-1, no stat increase]

Scared by that previous attack, Wisp had to release it's fear. It's arms felt heavy as they built up with electricity. Soon, they were overflowing, sparks flying in all directions. With a twist of his limbs, he released all of the stored energy. The bolts flew in every direction, but the two streams that were heading towards Ranyuu were blocked by the small Substitute. Upon which, it vanished into a dark cloud of smoke.

With a pump of his massive wings, Ranyuu began to create powerful winds that picked up all the stray pieces of dirt and stone from the bare arena. The particles whipped around both Pokemon, getting in Wisp's eyes and irritating his ghostly body.

Seeing through the clumps of sand in his eyes, Wisp floated through the arena, being somewhat thrashed around by the heavy winds. He neared the large fossil Pokemon, and wrapped his lightning-bolt shaped arms around him. The hug was, however, not meant to be friendly. Wisp sent electrical pulses through his arms and into Ranyuu. The energy stunned Ranyuu's muscles, causing him to collapse to the ground, unable to move his wings enough to fly.

Wisp felt that this was the perfect time to set up some defense. He turned on an axis, arms extended. From the tips, a solid, light blue wall of protecting energy was formed. Through the transparent light, you could see Wisp spinning, solidifying the blue wall. With a spark, the wall was finalized. Small tuffs of electrical energy popped out of the Reflect and within that instant, Wisp stopped spinning, smug and safe behind his wall of defense.

Angry at his groundedness, Ranyuu tried to muster the strength to pull his wings from the ground. He found he was unable, just as a surge of electricity pulsed through him as his body sparked. He roared his frustration, just as Wisp was knocked to the ground by the sandstorm.

Trying to avoid letting the Sandstorm interfere with his action, Wisp held his two lightning-bolt shaped arms in the air. Sparks of yellow electricity appeared, and small streams of electricity were shot into the air. Once eight streams were airborne, seeming to make a spider web shape, they remained at the apex of their flight, then fell down, the points of the web expanding to allow Ranyuu to be trapped under their force. Ranyuu, still feeling stiff due to the paralysis, couldn't fly away in order to dodge the attack. The webbing pinned down the pterodactyl, sending electrical pulses throughout his frail body.

Once the web seemed to lose all electrical power, Ranyuu crawled out from under it, and screeched loudly in anger. He put his small hands together and focused energy withing his palms, fighting off the paralysis' effects. A small, gray ball appeared, seeming quite sticky and dripping with goo. The mucus solidified, forming features similar to that of Ranyuu's; a long, pointed tail was created, along with expansive, rigid wings, and a powerful jaw. The copy was 1/5th the size of Ranyuu, but was just as powerful. A thin thread connected the doll to Ranyuu's forehead from its belly button, making the Substitute loll behind Ranyuu, who was now feeling a bit looser.

Wisp inspected the drippy doll with oblivious distaste. He positioned his long arms once more, as a sparking ball of electrical energy formed between them. He shot the ball upwards this time, letting it explode on it's own into a large net of electricity. It fell quickly towards Ranyuu, but his trusted doll shot forward, taking the attack to protect his creator. Upon completion of impact, the small imitation disappeared into a cloud of smoke.
[Electroweb: Waisp, -8% (6+2) Energy; Ranyuu, -0% Health; Ranyuu's Sub breaks; Ranyuu's SPD is already -6, thus unable to drop further]

Ranyuu roared, small sparks escaping his body as he could now move his muscles freely. He stretched his wings up and out, flying into the sandy sky. He flapped in place once, twice, then shot downwards, like an arrow. Once he was right next to Wisp, he quickly snapped his body, slamming his powerful tail towards the Rotom. Right as he was about to make impact, the blue, reflective wall made itself known, defending Wisp from part of the attack, receiving a crack. Just as Ranyuu was a couple paces from Wisp, the wall shattered and the sandstorm subsided, almost silmultaneously, leaving Wisp defenseless and Ranyuu without a comforting cover.

Lovely job, girl. Since that Rotom has levitate, ground moves won't work....SO.

Set up a sub @ 1% on the first action to absorb any attacks, then go ahead and use Toxic on that Rotom to set up some damage for later. If it protects, use Hone Claws.

Ranyuu was frustrated; he felt as though him and his foe had just gone in a large circle, neither doing anything productive. Regardless, he put his small claws together again and let a mucus-y ball form once more. It dripped disgustingly and solidified in the shape of a very small Aerodactyl. A thin thread connected the doll to Ranyuu, making the copy drag behind his creator.

Seeing how Rayuu's doll had helped him significantly in the previous Round, Wisp decided to set up one of his own. Lifting its arms above its head, Wisp let a small yellow-ish blue ball form above the point on its head between his hands. The small sphere sparked, sending out two tiny bolt-shaped arms. After a short moment, the clone looked exactly like Wisp, but less than half the size, a small stream of electricity connecting the two.

Not letting a moment waste, Wisp put his arm-like appendages together, letting a blue orb form. Clouds began to crowd overhead and Wisp tossed the ball upwards, into the darkening clouds. A loud clap of thunder was heard, and rain began to pour, drenching both Pokemon within seconds.
[Rain Dance: Wisp, -7% Energy; raining for this Round and the next.]

Ranyuu hated the feeling of water against his rough skin, and couldn't help but think evilly towards Wisp. A clump of rotten mucus logged itself in the back of his throat, making breathing difficult. He spat the ball into his mouth, then up into the air. Ranyuu span quickly, letting the tip of his tail slam into the purple glob of poison. It flew rapidly towards Wisp. Just as he was about to make contact with the goo, the Substitute jumped into action, defending Wisp from the poison.
