LOL! I didn't even touch Armaldo except give him his Dream World Ability. Being a defensive pokemon doesn't help him because of his stat typings. He only gains resistance to normal and poison, both least common used moves in the standard metagame. But offensively he doesn't have the speed to gain any momentum.

I'm thinking about this stat change...

85/145/120/50/xx/75
This would make him a strong late game sweeper. But Battle Armor has to go... Swift Swim works for offensive Rain Dance Teams, but he needs a standard ability to help him out.

Sorry, I didn't even tell you how you were supposed to know what were the orignal stats compared to the new ones. The old stats were the numbers on top. New stats were beneath the original stats. if the new stats had X's in place of numbers, then that meant the number didn't change.

For Armaldo's ability I'm leaning towards either a status buff ability(like guts) or an immunity ability(like water absorb).

Those stats give it the power to 2HKO/1HKO a lot of pokemon with just LO and a rock polish set late game, cleaning up other pokemons messes. buffs in defenses gives it some more survivability against neutral STAB attacks. It also give it chances to run bulky sets(such as early game swords dance set, or CB set).

If you want to know what the stats would do. You can just run damage calcs against pokemon that are in the standard metagame.

so excited to get black 2 tomarrow morning! Dredd, is there any way you could trade me anything from kanto or johto region? I really dislike the unova starters lol and I need to beat the game ASAP so i can migrate all of my pokemon from platinum, it would be much appreciated :D

Hey Monk, I was looking at your changes and they have been great, the change you gave to Ariados makes him a lot better. He may function like a minor Scizor with U-Turn and Pursuit.

I can't wait to see the changes on the server you're making :D

thanks. i'll be working on the server later tonight. hopefully it'll be up and runnin tomorrow.

well ariados will definitely be good, but i think its a bit of a stretch to call him close to scizor, haha. he is a hybrid of things though.

You were also going to balance the weathers right? You could maybe give Ice type Pokemons a Def boost when in Hail. It would be cool if there was an Ability to raise speed in Hail but GameFreak really hates it :/
