I hope some more information gets leaked soon. Preferably something a little less obvious. :P

I hope Chespin gains a second type.
Having a grass starter that isn't completely green is weird to me.

The only Grass Starter I really like is Chikorita. It;s cute. The others are too reptilian-y for me. xD

Re: Pokemon X and Y starter types revealed
I think the starters could end up being pretty cool, and looking at them again has given me some time to speculate about their evolutions.
Froakie seems the most obvious to me. See that puffy stuff around his neck? Looks a bit like a cloud. Maybe some sort of storm frog in the works? Water/Electric?
I'm also thinking Fenniken might turn out to be Fire/Dark. It looks pretty evil to me!
As for Chespin...I'm not sure. Grass/Ground maybe?

Bulbasaur is an amphibian, and Chicorita is a mammal.

No. According to Bulbapedia, Chikorita has similarities to sauropods, an infraorder of dinosaurs

No where does it say Bulba saur is an amphibian. :( It definitely doesn't spend part of its life in water! People relate it to frogs for some reason, but I don't see the resemblence, physically or behaviourally. It is more of a dino saur, which are reptiles. Chikorita is nothing that exists, but evolves into Bayleef and Meganium which are sauropods, as Judgmental Arceus said.
