Pokemon X and Y: Villain Speculation?

With the speculation about every aspect of the game flying around, I figured it was time to give the villain topic some real focus. X and Y could very well do something that has not been done yet...It could separate the Woman and Man into two different groups who are fighting each other. I know that seems like a R/S rip off but it could be an option.

Due to my background in genetics i feel, the X group will be all female feminist group and theY group will be an all male group musculine group. Baised ont eh genders of XX and XY for male and female.

People should realize X and Y have nothing to do with genetics. :(

I think it'll be just a regular villainous team, but something other than trying to take over the region or world.

We have no idea they might be to honour the chromosome but I feel there will be 2 teams

Im thinking it would be cool to have two teams. The gender thing would be new.

We've had a bunch of regular villains in the past; Black and White brought forth villains that are like PETA.
Maybe the villains in X and Y will be like religious extremists, and steal the Pokemon of all those who oppose their religious beliefs.

@Ty - They do seem to have something to do with genetics. There is DNA in the Japanese logo. xD

I for once don't want to see a 'villianous' team. I want to see a team with a different opinion who is trying to do something they believe in, like improve Pokemon by modifying their DNA or something cool. Something which isn't inherently "evil" and "bad" and that makes you think whether you agree with them or not (Like Team Plasma before the end).

Here's an idea.

Maybe it's not a team, this time.

Maybe it's the Legendary Pokemon themselves. X could seek to protect life (both males and females have at least one X chromosome) while Y tries to destroy at least half of it (only guys have a Y chromosome).


It could also go with the idea of genetic abnormalities. Perhaps they come to view humans as that...?

i don't know if this means anything but dosn't Yverwal look evil, likely flyign/dark type? while the other looks pure?

Could be Dark/Dragon with Levitate like Hydreigon. Though I agree, it's either Dark/Flying or Dragon/Flying.

Xerneas could be Normal/Psychic or Dark/Psychic.

That could work, and the side that wants to destroy could be based on the version you have, being if you have X version then X is the side that wants to save life, and if you have Y version, then that side is the life preserver.
