Here's a question: With the introduction of things being completely 3D, will we be able to transfer our Pokemon to this gen?
I would imagine so. Just because it's 3D shouldn't affect it. xD Just can't transfer back, as usual.

Everything is done wirelessly so it shouldn't be a problem. Additionally, being in 3D is just a representation. The previous games were 2D, but we know the Pokemon are in reality 3D creatures - just that they couldn't be displayed as 3D.

So it's really the same thing just technology advanced XD

You do realise that now a R/S/E remake could be produced in 3D, right?

I, for one, am hyped about the worldwide release. It means no spoilers for when I decide to play through blind, which will be a Nuzlocke run. :D

But I wanted the remake nooooowwww....

If they were working on a 3D game, it could have at least been the remake almost all Pokemon fans WANT.

I mean, honestly, who asked for a new generation right away? It was gonna happen, but this fast?

I personally didn't like Hoenn and wouldn't be very excited for a remake. xD Original games are what sell. They need to sell 3DS's and they were always going to launch with original games rather than remakes. I think the remakes of RS will come after, don't worry. =)

*still wanted Snap 2*

Same. Gen III is my least favorite of them all. D: 3D could make it a smudge better, but not really all that exciting. :(

I guess my generation sees it differently, come to think of it. The favorite gen is usually the one you were raised on probably.

But Hoenn was actually cool! All those routes you could explore with Dive! The Regis! Steven Stone! The Battle Frontier! It gives me nostalgia!

I loved gen 3, it's my favorite, but I'm content to wait because of the new possibilities this generation brings :3

I played R/S/E at the end of college and I really thought it was awesome. If this is leading to that then let us do this !

Sad to say I don't have it. I spent me monies on Harvest Moon XD (I'm hopelessly addicted to it their farming plan was a success HELP)

Yeah. Now if only the little sprites they made for HG/SS, that followed you, got more use too.

I want to lead a trail of Aggron with Cryseer* in front. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

* Fan-name. Not real. Bleh.

C-c-c-c-combo breaker :P
I'm another Hoennite. I LOVED that game the first time I played it!
If anything, maybe this gen could see the return of Rock Smash as a TM or something. And maybe my favorite Dark move could become a TM again :D
