I hate how it is near impossible to become big if you live in Australia. I would love to become a famous artist, but these days you need to be in USA or UK to become big :(

Pendulum is a great example of an extremely famous Australian band.

What I am saying is look at the iTunes chart and look at how many Australian artists are there compared to Americans.

You'd be hard pressed to find any talent in the top artists iTune chart as well.

I wouldn't say it is society. I'd say it is the record labels who push these artists forward and claims they have talent.

I find that a lot of people are rather impartial to what music they listen to. It could be any style or genre, and they like it. That is, at least, my experience.
