Do you cry...
...when you watch the first pokemon episode? xD
I ALWAYS do. I have never watched it without crying (well to be honest, I don't remember if I did or not when I watched it for the first time as a 5 year old... xD), or not these days anyway. From about when the sky starts turning grey while Ash is riding... xD I can tell the dramatic part is coming up (obviously) and I just always cry. I'm such a softie, seriously. xD
I was wondering if you guys did too!
P.S. Tearing up counts!

Re: Do you cry...
Umm, I reallly don't remeber the first episode, but when Pikachu protected Ash, I have to admit, I did start to tear up.
Maybe its just my love for Pikachu.

Re: Do you cry...
I do occasionally. I'm a huge LARP nerd and I get my Pokemon Plush and put them in my backpack and walk around the neighborhood adventuring. XD I've grown deathly close to my Typhlosion plush, and I imagine the same thing happening to it as a Cyndaquil and I might cry. D:

Re: Do you cry...
I don't cry, but I feel the tears welling up inside when Ash sees Mega Ultra Chicken fly by after all the chaos subsides. Just brings back so many feels from when I fist got into Pokaymans.

That was ho-oh and no i would not cry, the pokemon anime was never any good and I never let it delude me as a child. Digimon is the better of the mons.

Re: Do you cry...
I don't cry I laugh because it is funny to me. The Pikachu protecting ash part isn't funny, but it doesn't make me cry.

Re: Do you cry...
That part always makes me tear up, not really cry. But it's probably my favourite moment in the whole Pokemon anime ever. The music and the emotion and Ash's speech and the "Come and... GET ME!" *tear* xD

He knows it was Ho-oh. He was making a joke. And pfft, this isn't a competition. But on that note, I find the Digimon anime terrible, especially in comparison.
And Sarah, that's kinda what I meant. xD I mean, I don't blubber and burst into tears, but tear up, ya know...it counts. xD

Beyblade, Yu-Gi-Oh, Digimon, their anime all sucks imo. XD

XDDDD Yep, although I never watched the Yu-Gi-Oh anime. xD Beyblade I loved as a kid, but I went back and watched some last year... WOW, the voice acting is terrible. XDDD I watched Digimon this year and the plot for each episode was the same... xD It was so predictable, but I do like some of the voice actors from that. But overall the pokemon anime was amazing... xD

Try the Japanese Yu-Gi-Oh that's been subbed in english, or try Season 0. The original version was much more violent. The only change I can pull from the top of my noggin is when Yugi was dueling Arkana and they were strapped to the wall with the Blue Laser blades that would send their mind to the shadow realm. In Japan, those were metal buzz saw blades. They were dueling for their feet. If they lost, they'd have nubs.
I will admit that watching any anime based on a game can be quite silly.

Re: Do you cry...
Not when I watched the first episode, but there have been several moments:
~When Jirachi has to go back to sleep and says goodbye to Max
~When Latios sacrifices his life to save the town of Altomare
~When Max has to say goodbye to Ralts and promises to return for her
~When Zorua is trying to wake his dying mother Zoroark
~When Ash, Brock and Misty go their separate ways at the end of season 1

All were sad moments, but they didn't really jerk any tears from me...
I wonder if I am becoming dead inside XD
