Safety?! Ha! You're out here in the wild with no protection other than a newborn Pokemon that's never had a battle in its life. What's safe about that?!

You survey your surroundings. On one side is a rocky outcrop and on the other, the beginnings of a forest.

"Pdgoooo!" you hear something trill. A small bird lands on a nearby tree branch. This thing can't be too smart if it hasn't even noticed you nearby! Fortunately for you, you have a chance to catch it!

Wild Pidgey appeared!

JC looks back when he hears the sound. A slight grin comes over his face.
"Well it looks like we are have ourselves a Pidgey."

JC has trained flying pokemon his whole life. He wishes for a moment that he had brought some of his team with but then remembers why he came out here in the first place.

" Ashley its time to have some fun ! "
JC bends down whispering something in her ear. The Chimchar jumps up and down with joy.

She runs off towards the tree.

JC looks at PJ.
"Great capture man ! you should be very proud!"

JC keeps his eyes on Ashley who has not got in position. JC then yells out causing the Pidgey to fly off the branch. Chimchar jumps down from a above slamming into the Pidgey knocking it down to the ground.

JC takes out a Pokeball and thorws it at the Pidgey

JC bends down to pick up the Poké Ball.
"Skarmory is going to be happy to have a new friend to play with once we get back to the gym!"

JC releases the Pidgey. Who flies around for a moment.
"Sorry about the attack Pidgey. I hope you can forgive me for capturing you."

The Pidge lands near JC nodding its head.
*insert cooing sound here*

JC lifts up his arm and Pidge flies up and lands on it.

"Alright PJ ! lets keep going !"

Unfortunately, as you traverse the first route of the region, nothing of note really happens. Wild bird Pokemon fly overhead, but never stick around long enough for you to initiate in any kind of battle. The winds around you begin to howl and blast you apart.

As you contemplate the fact that there was not much to see on Route 1, you both come across a large, rather ordinary-looking tree. A large hole exists in the centre of it.

JC thinks to himself, keeping up with one new pokemon was turning out to be a little difficult. I have not trained anything as energetic as Chimchar in such a long time. She is a tough little Monkey.

He watches Chimchar run around. She spots the new tree. Looking back at him for a moment. as if to ask permission. JC smiles at PJ.
" She needs a little excitment even if that is from a hole in a tree."

JC rushes to catch up to the Chimchar who has gotten pretty close to the hole. Pidgey flies around JC head landing on branch a far distance from the hole.

As a twig near you makes a loud snap, your flashlight begins to flicker. You know it won't be long before it flickers out.

You feel the worry drain away. There's nothing hiding in the tree waiting to get you...

You both continue towards Route 2, it's so close now that you can see the sign in the distance. Excitement builds as you think of all the new Pokemon waiting out there!

Unfortunately there's one more roadblock!

An angry buzzing sound slowly gets louder as you near the beginning of the next route. Eventually you come to a tree full of Kakuna. They hang from the branches with some kind of sticky string. You're not sure where the buzzing is coming from until you notice that one of the Kakuna seems to have been ripped apart! You recoil in horror as something emerges from the cocoon.

The Beedrill notices you and its angry buzzing becomes even louder. Immediately, a second Beedrill begins to emerge. The two Beedrill dive towards you, extending their new sharp appendages like lances. You better take care of these two quickly and be on your way before the rest of the Kakuna evolve!

The Beedrill look pretty strong. You're going to need to team up to defeat them! Avoid those Poison points or you're going to be in trouble!

Wild Beedrill appeared! Write a paragraph about the battle!
Cannot be captured.

The Beedrill appeared. JC being a seasoned vet made a move quickly grabbing Chimchar and rolling back. JC should have been nervous but he had trained Flying/Ground pokemon his whole life. JC looked over to PJ..
"Okay stay focused, we will get through this !"

JC rolled back.
"Areo give me a sandstorm to blind these beedrills ! "

Pidgey flew off the branch moving swiftly towards the beedrill. He kicked up a sandstrom giving JC and PJ enough time to move back. With the time JC looked down at Ashley.
"The Beedrill is going to break through that storm soon."
Chimchar looked up to him smiling.
"Charrrr !"

JC smiled.
"lets focus ! on an ember !"

JC watches as the lances pierced the cloud. Chimchar jumps up firing a strong ember covering Beedrill.

JC looked back at Pidgey.
"Lets help her out ! gust !"

A bedrill charged at PJ he covered his face awaiting pain and then...nothing.He moved his hands to see timmy had teleported him behind the beedril. "T-thanks tim." PJ said with an exasperated sigh.

"JC COVER YOUR EARS! PJ Yelled."Sunkern! Grass whistle!"
Sunkern let out a High pitched whistle at the raging beedrill
