I found Growlithe really easy to train, I found the Starters more difficult to train this time around than before.

I agree with you there. XD My Growlithe was very hard to train also - well, until she got into her mid-30's. She got a LOT better. The early levels were the toughest. XD

As it happens, Pija was the worst teammate I ever had. Just about everything KOed him! So I figure I'd try using my favorite Eeveelution. Trying to catch him up to the rest of them isn't too fun, though. :\

The team works really well in game, and has great coverage, however I am not a huge fan of Minyades, she just never performs as well as I would like her to (probably because of the recoil). I was thinking of swapping her out for Gliscor with Poison Heal, so that I still have a solid fighting-type counter. However, if I do that I will probably get rid of Draconia as I don't like the idea of having 2 pokemon that are 4x weak to ice... Any ideas as to what I should sub in for her? I would ideally like an electric type with volt switch, so I was thinking about Electivire as I haven't raised one before. Thoughts?

At the moment, since I just got the game today, my team consists of tepig, railou and mareep.

I hope for in the end though Embour, Lucario, Zekrom/Black Kyrem, Umbreon, Gallade and another pokemon which I need to decide. I will beat all the games main quest, then breed the non legendaries, so I can build a team and EV train :)

Update!!!!: I have all gym badges and I have beaten the Elite 4 30 times now on challenge mode. I just caught my latios and traded all of the kings rock and regular trade evolutions.
