I like your comic but Jentoh sounds too much like Kanto.

When I made Jentoh, like 4/5 years ago, I combined the names of Hoenn, Johto, and Kanto.

Oh, sillies. Don't you know? Palkia and Dialga kept stealing Giratina's ice cream. So of /course/ he got mad at them.

It just happened to involve a lot of fire and dimensions being ripped apart in the process :)

WHELL. I have been away for far too long, BUT I caught up! I really like the staked battle idea. I certainly imagine they would happen, and I think it sounds really intense! I wonder what sort of circumstance someone would have to be in to wager their own pokemon... :c It would be really sad to lose. D: Especially if you trained your pokemon hard and were close to them, only to lose them... D:

I really like the design of the museum! It's awesome. Those little portraits on the wall are great. *doesn't know where they're from* And where did you get the smokescreen effect? xD It's cool. I imagined, like, getting a scene from something and blotting out everything but a bunch of clouds at one part, but I'm assuming you got them another, easier way. I'm interested to see why they're after Arceus. o: Stupid bad guys. >:c

Great job, Ant! 8D Keep it up. It makes me so happy that you're faithful to your comic. XD

I had to make North Town seem like a shady place, and a battle with a higher wager than just money seemed appropriate. Items seemed too small, so I went with Pokemon. Staked battles were actually started by a certain sinister organization as a means to acquire new strong Pokemon.

Thanks! I just edited the Ruby/Sapphire art museum from Lillycove City. The portraits are just shrunk battle sprites of Giratina, Dialga, and Palkia. I don't even remember where I got the smokescreen from. I went to the Spriters Resource and looked at every single game from GBA to DS until I found the right one.

They're after Arceus for (SPOILER, TEXT WITHELD) so it'll be pretty interesting to see how it all pans out.

I'm not going to do any gen 5 Pokemon in this comic. I had written out Jentoh's storyline right at the end of gen3 and the beginning of gen4, and I'd rather not fiddle and fuss trying to squeeze in new Pokemon. I do have all 5 generations being used in a side comic I'm still working on. It was enough of a struggle working in Arceus and the Creation Trio. Arceus replaced Jirachi, the Creation trio replaced the Eon Duo, and then I added CJ and TT.

And I don't think the ice cream will be canon to this storyline

Not to mention we don't have a ton of Gen 5 sprites to work with either, not like the overworld ones away XD

This. This right here. Until we get every overworld pokemon from Nintendo, I doubt I'll do much with Gen5.
