In the valley

This is one of the campfire games that me and my friends play over New years eve and easter. it goes like this:

Everyone says "in the valley there is (Insert something here) but no/there isn't (Insert something here." and someone who knows the trick (only me at the moment, but people may pick up on it.

But there is a trick to having true statement. I know the trick, so mine will always be true, so try and see if you can figure out the trick. I will say whether it is right or not :) If you think you know what the trick is and want me to confirm it, please inbox me, and I will confirm it. Dont post it here and ruin it for other people. so let us begin.

In the Valley, there are sheep but no goats...

I can see everyone has the same theory I had before i knew the trick. something that is impossible? when you guess it, You will wonder how you missed it :)
