[Wisp] Rotom
Ability:
Levitate
Sig Move: n/a
Mood: *insert evil laugh here*
HP: 100
ENG: 100

[Higeki] Absol (M)
Ability:
Super Luck
Sig Move: n/a
Mood: Let us begin.
HP: 100
ENG: 100

In an entirely too creepy forest in a place far too far away from home, the game was afoot.

I still have no idea what in the world possessed me to go the entirely too creepy forest, but I am extremely glad I chose to do so on Volcarona-back in the sky, i.e. far FAR away from the creepy things that could come eat my face here. And, lo and behold, just underneath me in one of the clearings, there are STILL people battling here (by the way, universe, you owe me ten bucks).

The two battlers (who go by the aliases of Metal Gear Snivy and Judge Dredd) were, I believe, relatively new to this form of battling, as they had made the rookie mistake of choosing an area where the low light levels made it extremely difficult to see, thus reducing the accuracy the Pokemon to absolutely horrendous levels (speaking from experience, this is TERRIBLY frustrating). But I digress. Appropriate for the creepy setting, MGS sent out an Absol, and Dredd summoned forth a Rotom. It was easy to tell by the various ways the Pokemon were blinking that they were finding it rather difficult to see.
(Wisp: -1ACC, Higeki: -1ACC)

The Rotom was, by a slight margin, the swifter of the creatures below, initiated the conflict. It brought its electric limbs together, but, contrary to the lightning that I thought would form, brought forth an ethereal, purple flame. The Rotom then attempted to send the flame at its dark type adversary, but was apparently on something, as the flame missed its mark by such a wide mark that I doubt it would have hit even if the light levels were normal.
Accuracy roll was 84 when anything more than 57 resulted in a miss (Wisp: -3ENG)

MGS decided to make every shot count if a large amount were going to miss. The Absol (Higeki, I believe I hear) was instructed to employ Swords Dance. As this was a move that did not rely on actually hitting a target, it suceeded easily.
(Higeki: -3ENG, +2ATK)

Dredd was many things, but a fool was not one of them. After seeing his first action fail so miserably, and after seeing Higeki strengthen himself, he decided that he would prefer for his Rotom not to be eviscerated, and commanded a Reflect. The Plasma mon summoned a psychic energy that would shield it from most eviscerations.
(Wisp: -6ENG, Party Reflect)

The ghost had just finished the barrier's formation when the dark lynx leaped with black energy forming at the claws. The Absol brought its miniature spears down on the Rotom, and, even with Reflect up, caused a large amount of damage. The Absol allowed himself a small smirk, and the Rotom was seething.
Accuracy roll was 18, Miss at above 75; Crit Roll was 8441, Crit achieved at less than 2500 (Higeki: -5ENG; Wisp: -12HP)

If Wisp tries to pull off an attack, go for Sucker Punch, if not, go for another Night Slash. Then use Swords Dance!

I was officially going to kill Dredd the next time I saw him. Without even considering that my eyes had JUST finished adjusting to the light, he ordered his little gremlin to use Flash. I barely closed my eyes before getting a faceful of light, and what's more, Sol was blinded by it to the point that he rammed into the nearest tree. Just before I crashed though, I could see Higeki clenching his eyes shut, obviously in agony. I doubted that I was the only one thinking Dreddicidal thoughts.
Accuracy rolled a 6 where rolling more than 75 resulted in this action missing the target. (Wisp -2ENG; Higeki -1ACC)

You can not use conditionals on moves that have a priority higher than one. It would be like moving back in time after seeing the opponent's attack and using sucker punch. So Absol would have not been able to perform this action. Energy will be deducted for the attempt to use sucker punch, but it fails.
(Higeki -6ENG)

Apparently, Dredd decided to channel the spirit of Mr. Trololo, and completely annoy both me and the Absol even further. Not only did the Rotom yield an electrical current that AGAIN hurt my eyes, the electricity used made it extremely difficult for his opponent to move.
Accuracy rolled a 30 where rolling more than 75 resulted in this action missing the target. (Wisp -4ENG; Higeki PRZ)

Despite the fact that every move looked like it was made of condensed will, the Absol managed to pull off another Swords Dance, making itself stronger.
Paralysis Roll was 2527 where any result less than or equal to 5000 resulted in (Pokemon) successfully carrying out its orders. (Higeki: +2ATK, -3ENG)

[Wisp] Rotom

Please look above at the dinosaur colored text.
This explains what was done wrong when Metal Gear Snivy ordered his moves.

The corrections have been made.
I understand we all forget at times.

Please continue your exciting battle.

And Wisp continued with the subterfuge. He/she/it figured that being on the receiving end of an attack by Higeki would go... poorly. Instead, Wisp fashioned a doll that looked much like him/her/itself, designed to take attacks for Wisp.
(Wisp: Sub (20HP), -7ENG)

Poor Higeki. Instead of getting to turn the dolly into little slivers, he instead got to experience the horrible feeling of his body not responding to commands.
Paralysis Roll was 7878 where any result less than or equal to 7500 resulted in Higeki successfully carrying out its orders. (Higeki: -5ENG)

Wisp finally decided to attack. And how. As Wisp built up a bolt of ball lightning, I realized just how screwed Higeki was. In fact, based on his expression, I'd wager he was thinking some very interesting words. But apparently, Lady Luck can be a real (Sorry, Mommy). As Higeki had his eyes screwed up tight as he was praying to whatever he worshiped, the ball missed. Completely. It was kind of insulting.
Accuracy rolled a 96 where more than 75 resulted in this action missing the target (Wisp: -12 ENG)

But instead of being able to capatilize on this Higeki was still incapable of movement. Fun.
Paralysis Roll was 9292 where any result less than or equal to 9000 resulted in Higeki successfully carrying out its orders. (Higeki: -5ENG)

Sigh. Dredd was a little ahead of himself. He instructed Wisp to make another Substitute, not realizing that it was going to do nothing.
Sub fails. (Wisp: -7ENG)

On the other hand, Higeki was nice and limber again. He struck at Wisp, but instead he hit the Sub. The way that sub was destroyed... Ukh. I would not want to be on the receiving end.
Critical rolled 671, crit at under 1250 (Higeki: -5ENG; Wisp: Sub destroyed)

Wisp prepared another Electro Ball, but before he was able to execute it, Higeki MOVED. He slammed Wisp with a vile energy, truly harming the Rotom.
(Higeki: -6 ENG; Wisp: -24 HP)

Wisp's electricity then coalesced into a ball once more, and he fired it at Higeki. It wasn't as devestating as it would have been had it hit when Higeki was paralyzed, though.

Alright, Higeki, we're almost through this one! First, if Wisp goes for an offensive attack, use Sucker Punch! If not, use Hone Claws. Next, if THAT time Wisp goes offensive, use Sucker Punch, if not, Night Slash.
