that's not a very good comparison.

Dream world is considered non-standard OU because you literally can't get them in game, they are unavailable in game, and therefore need a 'who cares about the rules' tier, which is why DW is considered by many a 'fake' tier as it only exists to use illegal sets.

B2W2 is unlike Dream world because it's not illegal to use move tutors/new formes in game, they are legit and don't require a new tier to compensate, you can use them in-game (which is what PO determines legality for the most part) and therefore should be classed as Standard OU. Just because it's not released in english doesn't mean it's not released at all

My point is still valid with Black and White 2 not being released in the US the use of forms from a game that most people cant get should be treated the same way genosect is treated. I dont think this should be a huge issue. Just my opinion on this matter.

I agree with what Fawkes said, basically. While not released in the States, they are still technically released and are legal in competitive battling, Dream World or not. As Fawkes said, DW is for stuff that you can't actually get in any released games (bar hacking), like Genesect.

But yeah, this isn't really a big issue. I'd listen if you have anything more to say, though.

Im personally not going to battle a team that has unreleased pokemon on it, as part of a normal 5th gen ou match. I think that Fawkes should have to use a normal ou team, not others having to build brand new teams to accommodate unreleased pokemon. Im also guessing the new forms will follow suite with the last one as soon as proper testing is done.

what is the next theme going to be ?

If someone would like a standard black/white 1 match please hit me . We have a couple one day left

Of course, if we don't get a whole lot of activity before then, I might not put one to help encourage battling with no gimmicks or anything.

Let's keep the no special rule theme for one more week. I think it'll help with activity, since people won't have to bother making new teams or anything. So yea. Battle more tho :|

Special rule for next week: UnderUsed (UU) tier. Instead of the original Standard OU, we'll do UU for a change. Refer to this list for a list of UU mons: http://www.smogon.com/bw/tiers/uu Obviously, all OU mons are banned, and so are BL mons (http://www.smogon.com/bw/tiers/ou and http://www.smogon.com/bw/tiers/bl respectively). Additionally, the Drought abilities and the Snow Warning abilities are banned as well, as per usual UU rules.

Battle, you fags. :|
