Default Re: Latio-Reol v. narphoenix

Latio-Reol

[Hammuhyd] Gible (Male)
Ability: Sand Veil
HP: 77%
Energy: 40%
+2 ATK, +2 ACC, +1 EVA; SLP
Condition: Sleeping! Do not disturb!

Narphoenix

[Deborah] Shroomish (Female)
Ability: Poison Heal
HP: 76%
Energy:94%
Condition: Lively, -1 ACC, +1 EVA

Round 4

Deborah observed her sleeping opponent as best as she could through the darkness. She could hear the soft snoring of the Gible in front of her. A smirk appeared on the fungi’s face as she felt her stomach shift slightly. There were still seeds in there from her lunch. Coughing slightly, she forced the seeds up and spat them towards Hammuhyd. She listened for the tell-tale sound of the seeds hitting flesh, but none came. The darkness had messed up her aim!!

[Deborah: - 6 Energy, Leech Seed MISS]
(Accuracy rolled a 81 where rolling more than 51 resulted in this action missing the target.)

Latio-Reol smirked as the Leech Seeds scattered on the ground, leaving his Gible completely unharmed. He lifted the dragon’s pokéball, calling him back with a flash of red light. Another light illuminated the tunnels for a moment as his Larvitar, RAAM, was sent out.

RAAM is sent out!!

[RAAM] Larvitar (Male)
Ability: Guts
HP: 100%
Energy: 100%
Condition: - 1 ACC, +1 EVA; Can’t see a d@mn thing down here…

Deborah growled, frustrated with her first miss, began to make her stomach churn again. She felt bile build up in the back of her throat and spat the toxic liquid at her new opponent. The purple glob flew past RAAM’s shoulder, barely missing him. The small dragon was very thankful for the darkness.

[Deborah: -6 Energy, Toxic MISS]
(Accuracy rolled a 65 where rolling more than 51 resulted in this action missing the target.)

RAAM listened to the toxic liquid sizzle behind him and took a deep breath. He didn’t want to miss like this Pokémon had. Taking a few steps forward, he slammed his foot into the ground as hard as he could. The earth split, the tunnel rocking with the force of the attack. Deborah winced as she was jostled around, lying there for a moment once the ground settled. She managed to get back up on her stubby feet, growling at RAAM.

[RAAM: -16 Energy| Deborah: -14 HP]
(Accuracy rolled a 46 where rolling more than 57 resulted in this action missing the target.)

Round 4 End

Latio-Reol

[RAAM] Larvitar (Male)
Ability: Guts
HP: 100%
Energy: 84%
Condition: - 1 ACC, +1 EVA; Made a good hit!

Narphoenix

[Deborah] Shroomish (Female)
Ability: Poison Heal
HP: 62%
Energy:82%
Condition: -1 ACC, +1 EVA; I MISSED?!

Ref Notes:
- In the arena description, it says ACC is decreased by 1 and EVA is increased by 1, so that has been applied here
- Since Hammuhyd didn’t wake up and attack, she used Toxic
- RAAM was order to attack after Deborah used Toxic, and did so

Latio-Reol, your moves please.

OK then, RAAM, use Mud Slap unless he protects, prevents the damage, or prevents the attack from landing before you can use it. If so, use Dragon Dance instead. If Narphoenix swaps Deborah out, use Pursuit.

Deborah, Spore. If you miss, use Spore again. Else, abuse giga drain.

Sound fine to me! Can one of you VM an official to move this to the battle archives since I can't?

Latio-Reol and narohoenix both receive $7
Eishiba gets $15
I get $5

Well done boys, now let's get out of this tunnel before it falls on us.
