Cool i thought they were official the first time i saw 'em
This picture is old, I saw it for the first time very before fifth generation comes out and I really thoutht these starters were official Pokemons. Just posting it, hope they could become the next generation.

The legendaries don't look so impressive but the starters are good.

It doesn't matter the legendaries... We've seen very uggly ones recently

The starters are so the beginning of any generation!

I personally like the idea of a non-intimidating Legendary. I am tired of Nintendo's quest for epic mechanical Pokemon.

R/B/Y and FR/LG didn't have lead legendaries in the cover and were considered the best versions ever.

G/S/C are considered the best by the majority of Pokemon fans, actually. With Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald right behind.

Aw man those things look stupid. I'm fine with intimidating and overpowered legendaries cause they won't exist in competitive battling (outside Uber tiers) anyway. But when you have somethin' that just looks like an angry rock, and somethin' else that looks like a flying angry rock...seriously now.

I'm relieved we didn't get those boulders lol.

As opposed to giant clumps of metal in the 4th gen?

What was a giant clump of metal in the 4th generation? Dialga wasn't...it just had metal parts to it. Even if it was, it just looks more interesting and appealing to me than a couple of rocks that are mad for some reason.

Yeah, I was pointing out the red eyes...?

But they don't have mouths. And since when do you have to have a frown to be angry?
