Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I do believe you need to ask an Art Mod to post contests in the Art boards.

Odd though that there wasn't a post explaining why it was closed...

Although this was a result of a member not reading rules, there still should have been a post explaining why it was closed, or at least a message left on Obliveon's profile. =/

I honestly agree with this completely.

Whatever mod locked it, sure, may have not hd the time, but they should have either way.
