Why does Ash never realise Team Rocket in their debris apparels?

So why does Ash never know it is team rocket when they are in a crappy apparels and you can clearly see their hair colour.
It is pretty wierd to me but is it to you guys?

Apparently, the immortality potion he takes effects his mind in a bad way.
Anyways, I think it's because the producers of Pokemon want this show to be more "child-friendly", so they make Ash stupid, so the viewers will feel good about themselves when they figure out that it's Team Rocket.
If you will look carefully, it's a pattern in cartoons that are attendant for younger audience.

He doesn't notice them, because it gives an entertaining plot, I mean would it be more interesting if he said, "OMFG YOU'RE TEAM ROCKET!" and then zaps them off without a motto or the sometimes humorous momements? I think not. :)

Well, that kinda happened a couple times, such as the one time that team rocket had another "ingenious" contraption(I think it was a giant bowl of noodles or something like that), stopped ash and co., and a couple lines into team rocket's motto, ash just said something like "I'm kinda busy right now, I don't have time for this. Pikachu, thunderbolt." and then blasting off again, ash and co. continue on their way. That was a great episode.

Yeah, their disguises were always pretty good. I did always find Jesse and James' like for cross-dressing a bit strange, though funny.

Because Ash is a dip sh!t. In the episode of Lt. Surge and Raichu, Ash started marching back for a rematch. Team Rocket shows up and does and stupid ass cheer which probably worsened Ash's chances. As they run away Misty was smart enough to thank Team Rocket by name for the support.

totally agree lol.... though crossdressing was kinda weird still funny though and totally complemented jessie and james's personalities :p
