This is not a competitive team, unfortunately. The RMT forum is for getting teams critiqued built with EVs, IVs and other competitive staples factored in. Anything works in game, but in game teams always lose competitively.

Him? Haha, I always had a bad habit of briefly trading RBYs to Gen II just to see what gender it is.

Not so crazy for Victreebell. Yet, Vileplume isn't a competitor because I don't like its 1st gen movepool. Parasect (or Venasaur, but it doesn't follow my reasoning) is the best plant for that era because it stands a chance versus Psychic types, although a Psychic with a move like Mega Kick combats them better, in my opinion. I'd go Slowbro over Starmie, or maybe Cloyster, but Recover's great. A lot of people would argue your Raichu with an Electrode, but honestly, I can't give a say, because that would be coming from a person who uses an early game Pachirisu. Hey! It happens to have a good nature and Pickup. Charizard is great because his flying type gives him immunity to ground-type moves. Fear Golem, though, since the 4x rock weakness can pack a punch. Sigh... What I would've done for Metal Claw in this version. Nice and early for Brock, too, which was probably the purpose behind that add-on.

Do you have any moves with high crit rates? An error in this game exists within the programming of crit rates. Focus Energy actually decreases the ratio, while moves with enchanced rates always critical. So, if Victreebell has Razor Leaf or if Charizard has Slash, it's win.

Unfortunately, due to the rules of RBY, back when übers weren't considered a sin, which they are, Mewtwo > everything. Yeah, my Mewtwo's pretty awesome. I caught it @ Lv 132 on Cinnibar Coast. I don't use any multiplied items or glitch-activated Pokemon in the metagame, though. But yeah, your team is good. Just hope your game doesn't die.
